Hi Brendan, wow thanks for all your RP videos, I'm going to buy this camera this week, can I ask you what's the best low cost photo and video lens for this camera please? I've seen it can come with the RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM Lens but that lens has terrible reviews, so should I get that one or would you recommend another lens? regards, Jeff

This is the best review I’ve seen on the RP! I bought the RP right when it came out and I bought the R a few months later. I fully agree with you about dropping the R before the RP from my line up whenever I upgrade again. The onlyyyy time I ever grab the R instead of the RP is when I need C Log. Other than that, the RP gives me a more streamlined work flow (physical mode dial!) in a smaller lighter cheaper package.

It handles and performs really well, the picture quality is great, and It's a terrific value, too... $900 for a refurbished body from canon. I don't know how you could do better in a sub-$1000 full frame body.
I use my 80D just as much. They both help me in what I do. The RP lags a little in rapid fire when the 80D does not. And, I just ordered the 90D. It will be here Monday. I can't wait. Have a great day.

Nice to see a real life review. Not only a spec sheet. I got the RP a year ago as a travel/hiking/landscape camera and a backup to my 5D IV. I like it so much that I barely touch my 5D anymore unless I need more fps. I am looking to get the 15-35 f2.8 to replace my 16-35 f4 and Rokinon 14 f2.8 for astro. With the 24-105 f4 and the coming 100-500, I will be able to cover 15-500 mm with 3 lenses for hiking/landscape/travel. On DR, I watch many landscape YT channels. Sony shooters still use bracketing, exposure blending with luminosity masks.
Great video Brendan, must say you’ve been a breath of fresh air during lockdown and now you can get out I’m learning again, even though I’m still Shielding until the end of June at least. Anyway, would you think the RP is worth me going for for street Photography, as well as some landscape, or should I go for the 90d? I’m worried about the AF on the RP
The AF is good on the RP. No worry there. The biggest concern would be the 5 fps. That said, the file quality will be cleaner with the full frame in low light on street.
Brendan van Son 5fps is a little slow but still much faster than my 1300d. That said if I did want to do any wildlife, flying birds as you say it will be basically useless. I have been thinking of going for an 80d, much better than mine and use the extra for a new decent lens
Great review! Bought this a month ago and am really happy with it. I just shoot stills and the results I've gotten with the RF 24-105 are amazing and also a really great walk-around/travel set up!
Patiently waiting to see the full specs on the R5 as definitely interested in switching from the 5div. Good review of the RP and hope you are getting out and about more now BvS
One of the issues you mentioned was the lack of interval timer for stills with the RP. However the RP does have that mode exclusively (along with time lapse mode like the R). Canon crippled the R in that sense not the RP.
As a person strongly considering getting the RP, I'm glad that the shortcomings are around everything I won't be using it for. Thank you for this insightful video
Yup. Thanks for pointing that out. I have no idea how I missed that. Like, no idea at all. To the point I wonder if someone snuck it into my camera when I wasn't looking. haha
@@BrendanvanSon haha, I got mine 6 months after its release maybe it was a firmware update. It is an absolute must feature if you want to do any exposure blending over time.
this Is awesome!! notification gang checking in!! knowing what you know now, would u go for a Eos RP, save up the for Eos R/R5, or just get the m6ii or 90d or start off with a Eos m6/m50 instead? much love from vancouver canada, I'm just vlogging on my girlfriends t6s but I wanna get my own camera for RUclips!
Personally, since I do photos and a lots of low light, I want full frame. I'd go with the RP over the R. I'd go for the m50 over the RP if I didn't need the RP as a back up for stills.
@@BrendanvanSon interesting! I think you're right I want a full frame as my main body, but for a vlogging camera I'd want something that was lighter, or like a behind the scenes so maybe the m50 would be a good option, the 90d is nice but its the size of a full frame camera, and the m6 is nice too and the m6 mark ii is the price of a Eos RP so maybe I'll definitely look into it. im rocking an Eos M right now and a canon T6s thanks for the help!
I’ve had the M50 and next move on the RP. The size difference is not that much in reality! If you can, go to a local store (when then open) and compare the RP next to the M50....
@@LouisLuzuka I have the R and the M6ii. The R is awesome for stills and video. The m6ii is light, and easy to use, 4k is great also. As a stills camera I feel the m6ii is limited by the M glass due to low light and therefore quality. With L glass I can get same pic quality as the R. Also miss the built in evf. But sometimes the R + glass is to big to carry, this is where the m6ii comes into its own. Pop it on a crane m2 and you have a stills and vlogging setup that fits in your pocket. I like the idea of the Rp as a back up cam, but pop full frame glass on it and you lose the portability factor the m6ii offers. So many swings and roundabouts 🙂🙂
Thanks for the review. I’m currently waiting for the R5 this summer. It will be my first entrance into the mirrorless realm, I’m currently shooting a 5DSR and 5D.
I have had my RP for about 4 days now and I like it so far. I bought it refurbished from Canon during their sale but they sent me a brand new one, in the retail box, so extra score. Other than my 50mm I haven't gotten around to getting any full frame lenses for it but still had a 10-18 and 55-250 EF-S lenses and threw them on the adapter and to be honest they photos are not bad, that is a super cool selling point that you can use EF-S lenses and full frame lenses on these cameras. Also isn't the RP supposed to have the same amount of weather sealing as the 6D Mark II? I am still waiting to see what the R6 is like, might get rid of the RP and my A7II and get the R6 if I like it. I'm so happy to have a touchscreen again and flipout screen and I like the ability to move focus points with my thumb using the screen.
Yeah, same weather sealing as the 6dii. And the Ef-S lenses is a nice touch from Canon. It allows people to make the jump to full frame for cheaper. There are some limitations for video, but for stills it's great. The R6 is going to be niiiiice! I'm really looking forward to that. Depending on price point, I might end up with an R6 and R5.
Nice Video. I'm currently thinking between the R and the RP... Would you recommend the RP if I'm mainly into Landscape and City photography, and also a growing interest into Wildlife Photography (I'm learning mostly in the zoo atm)? If I could afford the R5 I would instant buy this one. But my budget is like 1500, with 2 Months save up money, I could afford the R^^
Maybe wait to see what the price is on the R6 when it comes out? Sounds like that might suit you best. I'm guessing the price on the R6 will be about $1500-1800
Thanks for the review. I'm actually planning to get this RP for my girlfriend, which will basically make it my replacement camera. From what you are saying it seems a capable camers. Currently I shoot the 5Dsr but I also plan to get the R5 (if it comes in at 45MPix), which will then be my main body.
Canon needs to make a battery grip for the RP that takes two LP-E6N and a EF To EF-M adaptor with drop in filters and bam makes all systems a bit more connected. I'm selling all my 5DM3s for an RP and the drop in filter adaptor and my EF lines what a game changer.
The RP is actually somehow weather sealed as well despite lacking an IP rating (But I never saw one for the R as well): the fact that the sensor steamed up does not mean this camera has problems: in fact, no camera is airtight and the sensor is exposed when you remove the lens. Probably the smaller body or an imperfect gasket contact between the lens and the body allowed a tiny bit of hot air to squeze in and it condensed when it touched the glass on the sensor. The presence of a curtain on the EOS R could also have avoided the same fate: in fact the humid air got probably in contact with the metallic blades of the curtain and steamed on them before reaching the sensor. I would not worry too much to expose the RP to some light rain, but the R is certainly better sealed if you need to use it in really demanding conditions.
Great and encouraging stuff, especially for a RP owner. I am honing my skills and will probably get an R6 or the like not so soon in the future. The light weight of this camera was the reason I bought it and it will probably stay in my bag for years to come, even as a B role one.
The funny thing is that you won’t notice on social media platforms the difference between R and RP and some others... the editing is the key! I’m so in love with my RP!
So I have a 60D at the moment and waiting for the upgrade as soon as he R5 launches. Shall I just get the EOS RP now instead of waiting for the EOS R5 to launch and maybe save some money on the R?
@@BrendanvanSon I'll have a look, even though budget is not a biggest issue, saving some cash is always great, but then again it's a good investment. Sounds great, thanks!
Hey, do you use 25 or 30 fps in video? I have an Rp and in 25 fps when do panning the video is horrible on computer monitor and I see that your is very nice.
Hi again I bought the mirrorless rp you recommended with mount adaptor. So im guessing the canon 100-400 fits straight onto this? And do i lose anything?
Yup, it clicks right on. And, nope, you don't lose anything. In fact, other than the little adapter, you won't notice anything different when taking images.
Hey Brendan, Just got the RP. What settings do you suggest for video. You said you use it for B-Roll(1080p, Focus Mode, Etc...), but this is my main camera so it's all I can really use. I have the Nifty 50 EF mount and the 24-105 L. I'm about to get a gimbal, as I just got picked up for a project with work. I just want to have a gameplan for the project coming up. Thanks
I shoot everything 1080p 60fps just so i have option of slowing down the footage. Of course, it depends. There are clients that might need 4k so i have to adjust.
Are you in the Philippines now? Would love to have an RP someday. I hope this pandemic ease down soon. Stay safe and great video. My hands are itching to go out and shoot.
Had the RP, sold it for the A6400. Regretted it and promptly changed back. Paired with the RF 35mm f1.8 and EF 50mm f1.8. Just need canon to pump out some more RF f1.8’s
Brendan van Son I went to Sony A6400 for the sigma 16mm f1.4 combo to have on a gimbal but couldn’t get use to the Sony menus (I tried so hard) and I realised that I didn’t need to have a gimbal (plus gimbals are a faff 😆). Tripod locked off, handheld and GoPro 7 for any walk and talk was fine. I missed canon’s use ability, build quality and lens choice. Plus while full frame is not essential, there is just that little extra special DOF sauce when taking portraits. For the price now, it’s a no brainer really. And they added 24fps which is useful. Do you still film everything in 60fps? What frame rate do you do your timeline in? Glad to see you back at it.
What about the a7ii? It's a bit older but has almost the same price, full frame, ibis... Beside the expensive sony lenses I see no disadvantages if you like sony.
I use the RP also, I was really hesitant because of all the bad reviews, but it's a perfect camera everything i need it for. I'm pretty sure I would also like to get the R5 and skip the R because it looks like they worked out some of the kinks. Super satisfied as my first full frame and it was your video about the RP before that pushed me to get it.
Thank you for that great review. I’m trying to make the switch from a starter kit dslr (Canon Rebel T6) to a more advanced full frame camera and lenses. If you plan to give it away, could i be a candidate for it? If not, how much would you sell it for?
I've been using it since the release, i absolutely love it. Haven't used any rf lenses yet, but works great with all canon glass... also, ive used the interval for star trails, so you are able to use it for stills.
Hi I’m just starting out doing street photography, architecture, nighttime city shooting too. Im coming from an iPhone and know it’s time that I should upgrade to develop as a photographer. I have a limited budget, one which is around the price point of the RP, do you think it would be a good choice for the task at hand? Thanks
I got the RP for Christmas this past year and I love this thing! I am glad I got this camera and will hang on to it, but want to get the R5 when it comes out ( or the R6 ).
I think the R6 is going to be nearly as good as the R5. The video specs on the 5 will have people jumping at it. But, I'm guessing the R6 might be incredible value.
Hey Brendan, Great Video! I heard some people say that the RP has the same weather sealing as the 6d MK 2... if this is right, then it is an amazing camera! Thanks for the video
6:07 it is my understanding that the censor of the RP is Digic 8, and the censor of the 6dmkii us Digic 7 so, why did you say that both of them have the same censor? If I am wrong please correct me. Thank you in advance.
Someone’s been watching Camera Conspiracies... Really good and honest sounding review! Another plus you didn’t mention was that it doesn’t have a Touch Bar, I hate that on my EOS R.
How much EVF lag in burst mode? I'm not planning on the RP or R for bird photography, but I want an idea of what to expect in the R5 or R6 (or better, what I expect Canon to improve). Thanks, bro.
Honestly, it's not that bad. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but after a while, you don't notice. I think it will be improved upon in the R5. The R6 is said to have a slightly worse EVF than the R5. But, we won't really know that until we have it.
@@BrendanvanSon I expect the resolution to be a little worse. My concern for wildlife is being able to accurately to track a moving object like birds in flight. I understand it can be an issue because you're seeing a picture from a moment ago, not real time like a DSLR's OVF.
John, I can tell you from experience that the whole lag thing is overblown. No worse than a DSLR and that has never been much of a handicap for most shooters. What you will notice, however, is how much the drive slows down in in servo mode. I don't agree at all that you need a ripping motor drive for wildlife. In fact, spray-and-pray is the opposite of what you need. But for birds in flight, you might only get a half-dozen or fewer frames of a bird flying by and it would be nice to have a few more to choose from. No idea what you're shooting with now but once you get used to mirrorless, it's unlikely you'll switch back to the old style. On a side note, don't listen to the bullshit about the touch bar on the R. You don't wanna use it, then don't use it. I shut mine off immediately and have the camera set up just like my old DSLRs. No problem.
I for another just love my RP it is my go to for long exposure and the photos are the best battery sucks will last tops 140 photos agreed but other then this i just love it just preordered the R7 so they are going again with the R but love the specs on it and previews got the kit glass with it as well cant wait to see what this can do anyway great video bud and keep creating ~Dave💯
For a landscape shooter such as yourself, I assumed you would hate the camera for it's bad dynamic range (atleast based on other reviews). Would love to see a video where you edit an RP photo with challenging DR.
What is "IS Mode" in "My Menu" configure. When I register IS Mode, then click on it, NONE of my lens (RF 35 and 24-105, EF 50 and 70-200, or any EF-S) are compatible. I use the Canon adapter. Digital IS works fine and the RF 35mm works as "Combination IS"....but what is IS Mode and what lenses are compatible? The settings is ONLY in the "My Menu" registry.
Nope. It's better, but has fewer bells and whistles. There will be a Canon R6 which will be the mirrorless 6D. The RP is slotted in as a more budget-friendly camera. It doesn't have an equivalent in the normal line. It's almost like a 200D/SL2 with a full frame sensor.
What do you think about the canon 5d iv in 2020, specially the autofocus compared to the eos r ? Your old videos as well as the new ones have been a great entertainment this quarantine thanks from Spain 🇪🇸 !!!
One thing to consider is The camera price tag is targeted towards beginner's/amateurs using crop sensors who want to upgrade on budget. Since they have EF-S lenses When they are put on rp, the rp does not use the entire sensor and shoots only 11MP stills. Since u have all rf lenses, its easy for u. Not for the ones who have ef-s lenses.
True! EF-S lenses would only be useful if you were using them in 4k video mode.. you definitely would not want to use for stills. It will technically work-- but you lose a lot of resolution. That is part of the confusing placement of this camera. Great that you can get a full-frame camera for
Well I've been considering going mirrorless for both a more compact travel option for hiking/backpacking, but also for helmet-mount skydiving stills. Seems to be the lightest full-frame option, and your video really helped with giving me a sense of how it performs, thanks man! Cheers
Thanks for this video, i think i made up my mind whether to buy or not this one as my first fullframe. and i found one with the 24-105L on it for a very reasonable price!

I am really curious how the Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 works on this camera because it is a stabilized lens ✌
Great review! Bought this a month ago and am really happy with it. I just shoot stills and the results I've gotten with the RF 24-105 are amazing and also a really great walk-around/travel set up!
Great vid! Makes me want to try it! But I have to say, that R5 also looks amazing! Keep up the good work!
Really liked this review of the RP. Well presented and containing lots of useful info. Also like your no B/S manner. Great job. 👍
What lens are you using in your room? Looks great? What record settings are you using?
The Canon rf 15-35mm. It's just 1080p 30fps.
I'm getting the RP next, upgrade from my first DSLR (1300D). Nice to see you like it too!
Patiently waiting to see the full specs on the R5 as definitely interested in switching from the 5div. Good review of the RP and hope you are getting out and about more now BvS
Yeah, I think the R5 will sell like crazy when it's out. Lots of people still holding on to 5divs and 6diis ready to make the switch, I think.
Thanks for the videos im currently debating between the canon Rp and m6 mark ii and this really changed my perspective on this camera. Thank you
Why not wait and get the R6.
I plan to exchange my Canon m50 for the Canon rp. Do you think it is a good idea for landscapes?
Very good!
Yes, great idea. The M50 is good, too. But you'll love the full frame, especially in low light. Also, better lens selection.
One of the issues you mentioned was the lack of interval timer for stills with the RP. However the RP does have that mode exclusively (along with time lapse mode like the R). Canon crippled the R in that sense not the RP.
Yes! I see that now. Cheers
As a person strongly considering getting the RP, I'm glad that the shortcomings are around everything I won't be using it for. Thank you for this insightful video
Glad I could help!
Refers to weight in metric units ... INSTANT SUBSCRIBE
BVS, it does have interval shooting of stills, camera menu, panel #6
Great review....so good to hear a real world pro review of how you use this instead of just more dynamic range comparisons. Thanks for sharing!!
There is an intervalometer option in the settings
Awesome review. I'm looking to finally upgrade my 60D that I've been using for around 10 years and am very interested in the RP.
There is an intervalometer in the RP. Just read the manual before you buy a remote intervalometer :)
I kinda don't see them stopping production on the R. It occupies a nice middle ground.
I think because the R6 will that middle ground:
Rp = $1100
R6 = $1800-2000 (?)
R5 = $3000-4000 (?)
this Is awesome!! notification gang checking in!! knowing what you know now, would u go for a Eos RP, save up the for Eos R/R5, or just get the m6ii or 90d or start off with a Eos m6/m50 instead? much love from vancouver canada, I'm just vlogging on my girlfriends t6s but I wanna get my own camera for RUclips!
Excellent review! Thank you! I also enjoyed my Canon RP. I might upgrade to R8 but I’m not in hurry.
Thanks for the review. I’m currently waiting for the R5 this summer. It will be my first entrance into the mirrorless realm, I’m currently shooting a 5DSR and 5D.
I have a question, do I need to get an altra lens for my EOS RP ??
I brought this camera yesterday, I am very excited to use it
Enjoy! It's an awesome camera.
Brendan van Son Any tips or advice for using it/what is your preferred lens to use on it?? 😁
Well you got a complete camera kit! What is the total weight in the bag?
Haha, It's heavy. I'll re-do my gear list soon. But, moving forward, all my camera gear won't travel with me all the time.
You can use intervalometer, just you have to spare 5 secs between still
In menu picture 6 interval timer
Hope it's useful for you!
@@BrendanvanSon what are the limitaions for video?
I'm guessing the price on the R6 will be about $1500-1800
Brendan van Son thanks for your opinion! I forgott the R6 completely...
would be interesting to see a comparison between the R and the Rp for noice and astro Brendan
Next time I get out for some astro, I'll try them both. But, I'd be surprised if there was a massive difference. Both are decent lowlight sensors.
It's a great little camera. Small, but packs a huge punch.
@ 2:37 there is no RF 35mm f/1.4. Did you mean f/1.8?
Yup. My Bad!
The funny thing is that you won’t notice on social media platforms the difference between R and RP and some others... the editing is the key! I’m so in love with my RP!
Totally agree with that. It's all about "what's your purpose". People like to use gear as an excuse. But, it rarely is the reason.
So I have a 60D at the moment and waiting for the upgrade as soon as he R5 launches. Shall I just get the EOS RP now instead of waiting for the EOS R5 to launch and maybe save some money on the R?
I think wait for the R6. It's due a month later than the R5 and will also be really powerful.
The RP is weather sealed, the fogging of the sensor in that case is kinda unavoidable
I just purchased the RP and I"m excited to start using it.
Hey, what kind of lens would you recommend for this camera recording 60ft away? It's for our church services.
I am going to get the RP w/24-105 and also the RF 35mm, f/1.8
I'm.so torn between. 6d mark ii and the rp...why do u think rp is better...Isn't it slower in live view ?
Hi again
I bought the mirrorless rp you recommended with mount adaptor. So im guessing the canon 100-400 fits straight onto this? And do i lose anything?
Yup, it clicks right on. And, nope, you don't lose anything. In fact, other than the little adapter, you won't notice anything different when taking images.
Really useful information, thanks Brendan 👍
Hey Brendan,
Just got the RP.
What made you change back?
And, yes, Canon desperate needs to mid-range RF primes. Like a 50mm f/1.8 and an 85mm f/1.8
I was shocked at all the bad reviews. But, then again, most of those RP reviews weren't based on the camera, but just the specs.
Thank you for that great review. I’m trying to make the switch from a starter kit dslr (Canon Rebel T6) to a more advanced full frame camera and lenses. If you plan to give it away, could i be a candidate for it? If not, how much would you sell it for?
If I give it away - and I do that with gear - it'll be through my Facebook group: www.fb.com/groups/brendanvanson
Hej, how does eye AF compare between RP and the R? Is it identical, or is RP notably worse? Thanks!
As far as I've seen, the same.
I've been using it since the release, i absolutely love it. Haven't used any rf lenses yet, but works great with all canon glass... also, ive used the interval for star trails, so you are able to use it for stills.
You'll love it with the LP lenses!
@@BrendanvanSon as soon as i can afford one, hahaha
Thank you!
I'm more and more convinced about getting an EOS RP over a 6d MkII, as soon as Amazon has them available.
Hi
I’m just starting out doing street photography, architecture, nighttime city shooting too. Im coming from an iPhone and know it’s time that I should upgrade to develop as a photographer. I have a limited budget, one which is around the price point of the RP, do you think it would be a good choice for the task at hand?
Thanks
Definitely, I did a video using the RP and 35mm in London for street photography and thought it handled it really well.
@@BrendanvanSon I agree and I am just waiting for final specs and see what the differences really are for my needs. Keep up the videos!
Hey Brendan, Great Video! I heard some people say that the RP has the same weather sealing as the 6d MK 2... if this is right, then it is an amazing camera! Thanks for the video
I'm not sure, actually. I will say that I think the RP is a better camera than the 6dii. So, yeah, out is an amazing camera.
@@BrendanvanSon what makes it better than the 6d mark ii?
6:07 it is my understanding that the censor of the RP is Digic 8, and the censor of the 6dmkii us Digic 7 so, why did you say that both of them have the same censor? If I am wrong please correct me. Thank you in advance.
Sensor and processor are different things. Yeah, it's an upgraded processor on the RP, but the same sensor.
@@BrendanvanSon thank you for your explanation and at the same time I've learned to write "sensor" properly, warms regards!
Someone’s been watching Camera Conspiracies... Really good and honest sounding review! Another plus you didn’t mention was that it doesn’t have a Touch Bar, I hate that on my EOS R.
I finally found a good use for the touch bar, it's now set to rate images on payback.
Exactly the review I needed. Switching from Nikon and oddly starting with this (and the best lenses) while waiting on the R5.
Aloha, how do you think this camera would do for Boudoir Photography???
No problem.
I get the impression that the Canon EOS RP is a love or hate it kind of deal because those seem to be the only kind of reviews I can find on it.
Hi buddy. May I know what FHD frame rate of the camera you're using for slow motion? BTW..Singapore!..my country💖
Thanks, this was a decisive review in order to get that RP
Glad you liked it, Jenn!
Iam curious about the price of cannon rp with 24-105mm usm kit lens in 2020
For a landscape shooter such as yourself, I assumed you would hate the camera for it's bad dynamic range (atleast based on other reviews).
After last words this came into my mind: Is the RP the mirrorless 6D?
@@BrendanvanSon Oh, tnx...I've somehow missed the R6 plans. Then the lineup will be clear
What do you think about the canon 5d iv in 2020, specially the autofocus compared to the eos r ?
Your old videos as well as the new ones have been a great entertainment this quarantine thanks from Spain 🇪🇸 !!!
Honestly, I have no idea. I stopped using my 5div about 2 months after getting the R. I much preferred the R - although it took some getting used to.
Thanks for answering !!!
One thing to consider is
The camera price tag is targeted towards beginner's/amateurs using crop sensors who want to upgrade on budget.
Since they have EF-S lenses
When they are put on rp, the rp does not use the entire sensor and shoots only 11MP stills.
Great that you can get a full-frame camera for
You inspire me alot brendan
Thanks Dante, that means a lot!
Well I've been considering going mirrorless for both a more compact travel option for hiking/backpacking, but also for helmet-mount skydiving stills. Seems to be the lightest full-frame option, and your video really helped with giving me a sense of how it performs, thanks man! Cheers
10:29 i bought mine days ago, and that option comes with it, the interval timer, is that what hes talking about?
Thanks for this video, i think i made up my mind whether to buy or not this one as my first fullframe. and i found one with the 24-105L on it for a very reasonable price!
Does the screen flip forward like on the m50?
Fully articulating.
Hi, what could you say about the RP raw image quality. I read some reviews that pointed this topic as an issue (specially comparing to 90D). Can we have enough quality for professional printing? Tks!
Great video! thanks for doing a long-term opinion on it.
How would the 4k crop work, say, trying to focus on the moon or stars?
I enjoy my RP and it produces amazing pictures. To me it hides the mistakes that I make of a person that’s been doing for photography for a year
But nothing can hide my grammar 😂
hahaha. Grammar = the ultimate equalizer.
hi.
which do you suggest
canon 6d markII or eos RP
EOS RP. But, you might want to wait for the R6 in the summer. It's the direct replacement for the 6dii. I think it's going to be amazing.
What lens do you recommend with this camera for portraits?
The RF 35mm f/1.8 is great! But, it depends on your budget. An EF 50mm or 85mm would be good too.
Good observations. Rock on!
