This is spot on. I recently moved to UK. Was working in Pakistan, day used to start at 7:30am (workplace 30km away from home), reach hospital at 8:45am (Lahore canal road traffic), got off from duty at 6:00pm and back home by 7:45pm. Completely tired, no Saturday off. Left Pakistan, doing same level job at UK, 10 times more salary, go to hospital by bus in 10minutes and is free by 3:00 and back home with family by 3:15pm. Doesn’t look like I will go back to Pakistan. No respect there, too much exploitation.

That was an amazing analysis. I think after a while people forget the problems being faced daily by 90% of Pakistanis. Waking up drenched in one's own sweat a couple of time every week is a good start. Getting utility bills fixed every other month, dealing with water problem, and all the other ways in which so many hours every week are wasted can quickly add up to wasting peoples lives.
I travel 60 kilometers each day from office to work but still find happiness in my life when I see how blessed and kind Allah SWT has been with me. They are always reasons to be grateful and happy :)

I work as a software engineer in a software house in Lahore. I was walking on the road on this Saturday, Two robbers, they robbed me and took my mobile. It was the main road and Everyone was looking at me and no one helped me I bought the first mobile from my salary which I regretted a lot. Then I thought that my decision to leave Pakistan was good and I will leave Pakistan soon, Insha Allah.

If you have resources and money you can live a great life anywhere in the world including Pakistan! If you are middle class or lower, the best place to be is somewhere with a strong system that supports you and provides you opportunities (i.e. US, Canada, EU, Australia etc. perhaps Middle East as well). I lived in Pak for 3 months recently after being in US for 20 years! It was an amazing experience, but I was earning in USD…

I left Pakistan in July 2023 .I came in Dubai and I'm a security guard here now.My life has been totally changed I'm happy that I left Pakistan. It seems that I was living in a depressed and occupied state .There is no difference between PAK and North Korea. I will never be there in PAK again.

I've been financially humiliated by 3 Pakistani software companies and even when I needed the money at the very low point of my life. I was going to be a father and my company refused to give my salary for the month I already worked really really hard. I remembered that day when I begged for my wage from my manager and I was crying in the stairs of the hospital because of the financial pressure meanwhile when my wife was giving birth to my child. I remember, my wife refusing to undergo a C-section and kept saying to the doctor "may kosish kar rahi hoon app kindly operation naa karain" even when she was having the worst pain. I asked her why she is refusing the operation and she politely said in my ear that she knew I didn't received my salary of the month already passed and the charges for the operation are quite high! And I remember my tears while making her relax and saying that I've got the money and don't think about the money just think about your health while having absolutely nothing in my bank account to bear those charges. And you know what this happened with me holding a degree of BS Software engineering and serving on a position of team lead. I absolutely started hating each and every single thing about my career , about my professionalism, about my degree , about that company, about this country and about humanity! Yeah, I absolutely hate everything!

You are and used to be creative. I admire your library/free books idea. I am currently planning to start a program where anyone abroad can support one family by helping them installing solar panels and encouraging others to support a family they know. We can jointly start looking for alternative resources to help people for gas. If we manage to help 10 families, atleast 10 families are in comfort. I am not planning to change whole Pakistan but i am certain that it would be a bandwagon effect once the results are seen.

I bought the first mobile from my salary which I regretted a lot.
Then I thought that my decision to leave Pakistan was good and I will leave Pakistan soon, Insha Allah.

1:44 6 mahine nahin 1 saal raho experience the gas load-shedding in winters, experience electricity load-shedding in summers, experience the unhygienic food, especially vegetables jinko kha kar pait kharab hi rahe ga (in summers), experience Lahore ki smog to inflame your lungs and you can't breathe. This is my experience after shifting to Pakistan after living my whole life in Saudi Arabia.
Going to Pakistan after living in the Gulf is very hard because in the Gulf we have a very safe and sound life, in Pakistan it is cheating and theft.

If you have resources and money you can live a great life anywhere in the world including Pakistan! If you are middle class or lower, the best place to be is somewhere with a strong system that supports you and provides you opportunities (i.e. US, Canada, EU, Australia etc. perhaps Middle East as well). I lived in Pak for 3 months recently after being in US for 20 years! It was an amazing experience, but I was earning in USD…

absolutely right daily life in pakistan is becoming worst day by day in past 4 years i gave my ninth matric and inter exams and all exams in darkness cuz of worst load shedding even we are paying our bills regularly my father is an really educated person but nowadays we cant afford to shift our house in better area . its not easy to spend your life in pakistan with halal income you have to be very patient . I left Pakistan in July 2023 .I came in Dubai and I'm a security guard here now.My life has been totally changed I'm happy that I left Pakistan. It seems that I was living in a depressed and occupied state .There is no difference between PAK and North Korea. I will never be there in PAK again.

I've been financially humiliated by 3 Pakistani software companies and even when I needed the money at the very low point of my life. I was going to be a father and my company refused to give my salary for the month I already worked really really hard. I remembered that day when I begged for my wage from my manager and I was crying in the stairs of the hospital because of the financial pressure meanwhile when my wife was giving birth to my child. I remember, my wife refusing to undergo a C-section and kept saying to the doctor "may kosish kar rahi hoon app kindly operation naa karain" even when she was having the worst pain. I asked her why she is refusing the operation and she politely said in my ear that she knew I didn't received my salary of the month already passed and the charges for the operation are quite high! And I remember my tears while making her relax and saying that I've got the money and don't think about the money just think about your health while having absolutely nothing in my bank account to bear those charges. And you know what this happened with me holding a degree of BS Software engineering and serving on a position of team lead.
I absolutely started hating each and every single thing about my career , about my professionalism, about my degree , about that company, about this country and about humanity! Yeah, I absolutely hate everything!

Bhai, the biggest problem is almost non-existent law and order, no merit and no justice.
Junaid .. you are spot on even for India i.e. everything will apply here too, though to a lesser extent (traffic, water are issues here, thouh gas and electricity are OK in major cities).
You are and used to be creative. I admire your library/free books idea.
I am currently planning to start a program where anyone abroad can support one family by helping them installing solar panels and encouraging others to support a family they know. We can jointly start looking for alternative resources to help people for gas.
If we manage to help 10 families, atleast 10 families are in comfort. I am not planning to change whole Pakistan but i am certain that it would be a bandwagon effect once the results are seen.
