I came back for my mother with my 8 and 9 yr old girls from Canada. Lived in karachi for 7 yrs . My passed away during covid . Within a year, i came back to canada. It's very hard to live in Pakistan. But i am happy i took care of my mother when she needed me the most .
My advice to this caller is that send ur husband to take care of his mother, you and ur daughters stay in Australia.

good decent advice , but if the husband is in pakistan (and the wife doesn't work) then the living monthly expenses of australia will get totally out of control versus moving the family to pakistan and keeping the expenses in control.

Yes, she has to stay Australia with girls and send husband to take care of his mother. Don't give them stress for new environment. Your husband not suppose to come Australia frequently. You can work there and of course you are safe there.from Canada.

@@drteeka7883I believe it's in our roots to love and care for our parents. I was working in Singapore as a Graphic Designer but left my job for my parents. Life was very tough here; it felt like starting my career from scratch. I was young, so I overcame all obstacles, and after struggling for almost four years, I established myself by the grace of Allah. I believe I could have made much more progress living and working in Singapore and earned a lot of money, but I was sure I would have missed that quality time with my parents. Now my parents are no longer with me, but I am satisfied that I served them well, and they were very happy about it. I am sorry I have typical Pakistani mentality who believe in "ماں کی دعا جنت کی ہوا"

I was born in Kuwait. My father was an electrical engineer and we had a great life. Long story short, we moved back to Pakistan 14 years ago. Back then I was an 11 year old kid who was confident and full of life and the school environment here in Pakistan was terrible for me. I would get bullied heavily and that affected me as a person forever. Now, I don't feel like talking to people or socialising. I've recovered a lot from those experiences but I still believe that those things still haunt me to this day. Not to mention my family has also been through a lot ever since they came back to Pakistan and we as a family regret our decision big time. Now I'm doing my masters in the US and have no intention of ever going back to Pakistan.

Quality Of Life depends on the state of mind. Not on external factors. Pakistan is a third world country, Problems start to occur when people start comparing it to the first world. So When you move to Pakistan, you have to know you’re moving to a village.
You have to get your priorities straight in Life,Ask yourself What is it that you care about the most in life?
If it’s Money, glitz and glamour of the west , the Material Aspects of the Modern
Life that most insecure people around the world need in order to cover up their lack of self esteem then moving to Pakistan might be a bad idea And you will suffer psychologically.
But If you have done the inner work , lived abroad , studied abroad, seen the western Life,
gotten past your insecurities of being Pakistani,
And if your priority is family, people and friends who are always there for you , you enjoy the little things in life like helping people ; contributing to society in your own capacity To help make a better world,
Pakistan is best place in the world.
    Much love,
    Karachi, Pakistan

Every kid in the family has his own role. Your siblings are taking care of your mother but there bread and butter is in Pakistan so it would be difficult for them to support medical expenses of your mother. Here comes your part. You live abroad and may be able to bridge that gap. So, there is no need for any guilt. Just do your part. To support your parents in Pakistan, you always have to choose one either, support them financially or support them morally and physically. You can't do both in Pakistan. That's what will happen if you come back. Morally and physically your sibling are already here to support your mother. There is no need for you to do the same but if stay abraod you can help financially which might be needed. If you come back you will regret within 6 months.

I got 10 years USA multiple visit visa and 10 years multiple Canada visit visa and in October 2022 I visit USA I got my south African nationality in 2011 and born in (kasur) punjab Pakistan. Choice is urs and consequences obviously u will face Regret or no regret. As a human and as a Pakistani we have responsibilities toward humanity Muslims and Pakistan and as a Pakistani I think we failed to fulfill our duties. We always choose easy way in life that's why Pakistan in this position. We don't want to give sacrifice. If we really want our childrens and grand childrens future safe then some one must talk responsibilities. Pakistan almost on the edge of destruction. Our struggle not bigger than our forefathers like Muhammad Ali Jinnah(R. a). Please share ur honest experiences as overseas Pakistani how white people treat you. Pakistan is our country and it is our responsibility to try to to fix it.
Main bahir jaany k khilaaf ni hon, agar aap ksi baray maqsad (Education, World Politics, Dawwah) k liye jaaty hain to koi haraj ni.
Bahir b koi jannat wala mahool ni hai.
Ye jo khatoon ny swaal poocha hai, Allah kry k kal ko aisa NAA ho k in ki daughters k pronoun (she, her) sy change ho k (It, them, duck, cat) na ho jaien or ye bachian aoni walida ko old age home main na chor aaien.
Pakistan k serious masail hain, agar sb zaheen, mehanti, courage walay log bahir chaly jaien gy to phir ye mulk aisa he rahay ga.
Kharab cheez ko he to thek krna hamara zindagi ka maqsad hai. We are here to uplift others.
Khaali bahir jaa k remittances bhj deny sy to mulk ni thek ho jaata. Bahir jaa k aap k bachay secular, libral, atheist bnty jaa rhay hain. Jb deen he ni raha to phir maal o dolaat ka kya krna.
Khair jesa k main ny kaha k koi bara naik maqsad ho to zaroor jaien bahir. Magar is niyaat sy k
bahir ja k pur sakoon zindagi guzarni hai or end pe oont(camel) ki tarah paray paray mar jaana hai aisa thandi zindagi ka to koi faida ni.
BTW, Pakistan k itnay halaat kharab ni hain jitny Karachi k hain. Junaid bhai aap kabhi Bhakkar Mianwali side pe chakar lagaien
Zameen ka saaf paani, clean air, Internet with good speed (JUST got 33 Mbps on fast.com speedtest), Almost good milk on shops.
There is also a decent library in Bhakkar Gym with books and free laptops and internet.(You can search it on "E-Library Bhakkar" on Google).

Admitted Pakistan has gone down and I agree with you visiting for short periods is fine but let's be honest that you are a second class citizen and you can never make friends like you do in your own country. Retirement with pension from abroad will give a better standard of living. So I am in two minds whether to move back. I want to meet my old friends at a coffee shop instead of taking walks on your own in the park without talking to people. I agree with you that living in Pakistan for younger person maybe difficult.

After my father’s passing in 2012, I inherited 48 acres of agricultural land, along with three houses and other property. My total rental income was around 4.5 million rupees per year. I thought I would live peacefully in Pakistan and take care of my mother.
However, I didn’t find peace there. After 18 months, the conditions became so difficult that I had to return to Germany. Now that I’m back, I have no desire to live in Pakistan again.

      Wise decision
If you understand that purpose of Muslim’s life is not to have all the luxuries of life but to aim to gain Allah SWT’s pleasure and go to Jannatulfirdoz
Connect yourselves to Quran and sunnah
Do everything only to please Allah SWT
Leave your deeds that displeases Allah SWT and move towards what Allah SWT commanded
Then you will see how Allah SWT’s help will come .
You will cry seeing His help but other people around you won’t even notice
I pray may almighty God give you wisdom and ease all your difficulties

I couldn't slept for nights and i got depression in a very early stage. Then i decided to move to Canada. Indeed it was one of the best decisions of my life. I couldn't ever think to relocate to Khi despite of having high emotional connection there.

Junaid Sahab, I totally agree with your suggestions. Being from the same filed, I know how tough it is to work from Pakistan 🇵🇰 even if you have best internet connect. The Western companies are blocking Pakistani IPs, making it nearly impossible to work. Also moving family back to Karachi would be the worst decision they would have made. One can give it thought to Lahore or Islamabad but Karachi is a wild wild east.
