Good show. My workflow is to go through the different tracks first and weed out all the bigger problems (resonances, hi-pass/lo-pass) before doing the initial balance/pan. I feel that doing this the other way around will be counterproductive as those energy/frequency-related problems will strongly influence the balance and even pan.
Hi! A question: I understand that mix assistant sets the levels of individual tracks so that they are in a balanced state between themselves, but I don’t understand how the individual track levels are being set so that later (when they are combined in groups) the dB levels will not be too hot. Are the tracks set to a certain reference level, e.g. the usual -18. So in other words is mix assistant gain staging as well as setting individual track levels?
It often happens, and always baffles me when it does, that the promotional videos for new audio products/software contain such distorted dialog tracks as this. When one considers what this company specializes in (and I DO use and enjoy some of their stuff), it seems off the mark to allow clipping in the dialog track, especially when they make the great deClip et al. Come on, run your track through your own software and enjoy the results.
Whoops, I'm just noticing now that this is by Plugin Boutique . . . DUH! Sorry about the misguide, but the above still applies. Love your group and the info, though!!
I'm not sure why someone would have so purely balanced tracks/stems first place, like in the example they show here... Also I'm yet to find out how this works on non-drums/guitars/bass/vocal music, but rather techno, harsh, psytrance etc. music. If anyone can share your experience with non-pop-music tracks, please let know.
Avishkarr Beats hey it’s called promotion... I’m sure I don’t pop up in you suggested videos so this how you get it done. My music 🎶 🔥 I even got a song just for you called “haters”
it would be better if you could filter the Visual Mixer by the classification type. Currently you can only see all the tracks which looks very cluttered, filtering would be great for changing volume and pan

Wow. I love it.
when using amp plugins should relay go after those or before?
Neutron mix assistant should also support eq, compression and everything else in the mix. That would be a big step forward.
lol.
Avishkarr Beats your right bro. I was glad to see what results i would get using the software. Rose 🌹 in Harlem is also mixed thru neutron.
So, should I bypass all the eq, filters and stuff before I run the neutron assistant?
What if you do some kind of electronic or cinematic music with no voice? Does it always show voice? Seems somewhat limited if it does....
Why is that In my relay column,I don't see the instruments list. Like in ur Video. Someone pls help. Tq,Guys.

Why dont they just say Gain Staging instead of beating around the bush.
Yes!
