TPMS: Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Gives you the air pressure of your tires on your car if equipped.
Fantastic :-) it’s pretty cool stuff loving the tech that’s coming out these days.. thanks for putting me straight.. gaz
Tpms sensors are typically 315 or 433mhz, though many of the newer sensors are programable, allowing data streams for air pressure, temperature, humidity, battery. In the US, all newly manufactured vehicles since 2012 have been required to have TPMS systems in their vehicles, regulated via TSA formerly of DOT.
Imho, it’s frankly a pain to deal with, as a mechanic/technician. Newbs are always smashing them in the tire changers. These sensors are attached to the valve stems in most instances. If your valve stem looks metal, chances are there’s a plastic TPMS sensor attached to that stem; though there are rubber valve stems that have an integral mounting for TPMS systems. Cheers
Hello happy new year 2020 and my best wishes, how I should do to configure my portapak hackrf one on Windows 10
It is wonderful! So informative and detailed. Great job! Thanks a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
Good presentation. I would like to see you take it in the field and search for some RF. Things like wireless mics and perhaps automotive key bobs and such.
No need theres lots available when I connect to the big antenna on the roof..
I entered some sort of sleep mode on mine within 10 minutes of turning it on, how do I turn it back on?
Sorry missed this question.. there is a pin lock.. the details are on the wiki.. Gaz

Want the best long range antenna for the portapack h1
What signal are you trying to pick and use?
To pick up all signals
Sadly there wont be an antenna that will do all you want without some form of comprimise, check the discone 25Mhz-3000Mhz www.hamradio.co.uk/aerials-antenna-manufacturers-diamond-antennas/diamond/diamond-d-3000n-ultra-wideband-super-discone-style-antenna-pd-7726.php
have a squint at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log-periodic_antenna the log peridoc is a directional antenna with a little more gain but need a rotator, mounted vertically.
they can get very interesting www.aaronia.com/products/antennas/HyperLog-30180-Log-Periodic-Antenna/
there are lots to choose from, in fact enough to make your eyes water www.schwarzbeck.de/en/antennas/logarithmic-periodic-broadband-antennas/standard-lpda.html
Google wideband rx antennas or UHF, SHF antennas
