I was here in 2017 watching a F1 Ferrari test, I stayed in a Ferrari hotel down the road and remember thinking of Shumacher doing this test while watching it live. 1:47 gives me goosebumps when I watched race at indy every year.
It still give me goosebumps after attending my last time in v10 era in 2004 for the Canadian gp. Those revs on the formation lap was very amazing as I was sat on the hairpin section

If you have never been to a race yourself and listenend to it live, you can`t imagine how it sounds. This video is nothing to the live-sound. When they switched gears it sounded like a fucking machine gun besides your ear. Such a loud and sick sound :O

Every single one of those valves in the V10 are like trumpets in a well tuned orchestra. This is why electrification is killing motorsports, F1 in the next 5 years will become a simulator event with just a bunch of fast karts going around the track. Thank god Ferrari and Lamborghini are still producing road legal V12s.

why don't we dump the current 1.6 v6 turbo engine which sounds ugly growl.
we sink the v6, and get the natural aspirated engine back, we can do 2.2 liters v8 with 16000 rpm , high revs sounds screaming , high pitch like above v10.

It's just my opinion so I wouldn't worry abut it. But while the engine itself does indeed sound amazing, it's ruined by that awful traction control cutting the engine out to control wheel spin.
It was pretty cool to experience live it was literally ground shaking.
+Tristan Miller You are indeed lucky! I've only heard the V8's up close and even those were wonderful. I do miss the V10's.
