this video captures everything that I love about Dave Matthews ... great song song and live performance followed by an equally entertaining monologue :)
There's such a wonderful sense of nostalgia about this song that it makes me grin like an idiot every time I hear it! I never had that kind of childhood, but it makes me wish I did.
best version hands down, totally a better D&T song. also, at the end when they freak out about playing the same chord for the first time is such an amazing moment that shows just what kind of connection these guys have. this show is flawless.
This amount of talent in two individuals isn't fair! heheh This entire DVD at Radio City is the finest work Dave and Tim have EVER done IMHO. Absolutely mindblowing guitar work. These are the purest of musicians to me. I bow to their greatness!
I think it's C EM AM G F repeating with an emphasis on the bass notes. This is just from listening to it back a few times. Dave and Tim's chord shapes are hard to recognize but this sounds like a close/simplified approximation. Cheers
It's "Eh Hee" which is the next song they play in the set. It's confusing that the video editor included the story at the end of "Old Dirt Hill" instead of at the beginning of "Eh Hee" where it belongs.
@@JosephLeeman I have this concert on Blu-ray and that is how the concert is divided up... so that the commentary is at the end of the previous song, and the tracks begin with music, not dialog (e.g., so that when you skip to a song it begins with music playing...)
13 Years later and still my favorite concert and album ever made. Amazed every time I listen to this concert.
no way! thats scary. Amazing concert
Yep never gets old. And Tim is such a fine guitarist!
Dave's stories are more entertaining than most of today's artists music
Tim Reynolds' best guitar work in his whole time with Dave Matthews is right here. Absolute brilliance.

broooo.... i always see the crowd celebrating at the end of their songs.... this is so.... inspiring, beautiful.
dave is SO lovely. one of my favorite humans.
the chord progression at the end is just awesome
Still the very most beautiful live performance I've ever seen. ♥
Great performance!!!!😊😊😊😊
Love this version better than the Studio one.
Jesus this song is great

absolutely incredible!
Dave looks sensational here.
Tim is on a different level
Obviously. Dave knows that, lol.
Christopher Brown Dont get it twisted, Dave is on another level too.
Oh no doubt about that. Dave is the best
But Tim's playing is amazing
He must be an alien ...
Tim is so talented he can make that guitar sound like other instruments i.e
Violin. I was looking for boyd and it was tim.
Tim and Dave’s hug. That.
Great job
The song he's taking about is eh hee. But it's not on this Playlist
Yes!!
Whoa... #ONE
5:19 I make custom furniture and can only imagine what it’s like taking down an order from Dave for a custom piece.
TIM PLAYS MARTIN SP MEDIUMS ON THAT D-35
that shit sounds sooo clean
it bothers me when i can hear them strumming together and their intonation doesn't match even though it is hard to notice it. Love this song so much
❤
Saw Sammy last night
Avicii - Without you
;)
What kinda strings does Tim use cause I like that nice bass sound please help
Marcus Segura its the martin d-35 natural deep base tone
Sam Cro and i saw the guitar itself its small and tim is so tiny compared to it why is that
+Marcus Segura Because Tim is pretty tiny himself.
Dave! Did it sound like millions of dollars????
Does anyone know of any tabs and/or know the chord progression at 3:54?

Eh Hee
