@@Zekrom997 Oh true! I keep getting the Digivolve color icon mixed up with BT8 Kimeramon thinking that the new SEC Greymon can go ontop of any color! Thanks for pointing that out!
@@pantsuuchan1169 I think you actually don't need Koromon because the deletion effect is a separate sentence starting with "Then". Hope this clarifies it!
Vs 3GA, Omnimon works like Leviamon. If you target something with Omni to bottom deck it, they protect it with domini, and then you target it again to delete it, the intrrruptive effect of dominimon cannot interrupt the omnimon effect twice since they can only activate only once per effect. This means that on multiple instances, you could double target their Ace and steal the turn from them. In JP, this ruling changed to allow multiple activations of interruptive effects, but the change hasn't come to the west yet, and we don't know when it will come
Nice showcase, but a lot of missed opportunity, and miss plays. Someone already mentioned how agumon into wargreymon can't swing due to being play that turn. Also you can't digivolve bt17 Greymon onto a black gabumon. At the end there agaisnt 3A you should've end of turn digiolve into omnimon utilize all its effects to force trash security. Then use matt/tai to allow omnimon to swing end of turn and raid into Dominimon or just game cause Wargreymon inheret ability trashes security.
Hmm, what would be some budget substitutes for the Greymon? Theoretically there’s the bt12 Grey that at least plays out a Tai Tamer for free but only once. There’s also the starter one that does it but only if it’s checked in security.
There's really no budget option if you want to go pure DNA Omnimon. The budget option is Wargreymon with elements of the DNA build built in. @@kyletucker3811 this seems to be overcomplicating a Wargrey deck just for the sake of throwing in an additional DNA package into it plus the already bloated X-anti package. Simpler is best so if anything, I’m working on simply adding a number of the black agu and gabu searchers and Ukkomons. The hardplay into Omni is a fairly consistent package as long as you have any of the rookies it seems in testing, especially if you have 1+ of the new tamers. Prices remain to be seen as despite being a SEC, the new Greymon doesn’t really synergize with any other deck barring being a tech option.
Ideally with the Wargrey build, you want to build up in the back while chipping away a couple times at your opponents security. Then come out, go into the MetalGrey X and then Wargrey with Tai & Matt in play, Raid, unsuspend, swing again, drop melga, DNA, swing again, unsuspend and swing again if needed.
@@kyletucker3811 right but at that point that’s way overcomplicating what OTK Wargrey already does. If you’re not hitting 5 security then simply blitz for game in Wargrey then you’re doing it wrong. If you’re dead set on the evo route, you might as well just do Alter line
Pretty sure they can't protect twice with the Dominimon against Omnimon. Because it seems very similar to the Leviamon rulling, where you can't use the same protection effect twice on the same effect (even if it's not once per turn).
And neither one is an opinion with much actual weight. That aside it is a decent deck. Prob tier 2-3 but its got a powerful top end. Just a very jank engine. Plus its very easy for some decks to play around the ace
@@jasonandrews1770 I'm playing around with a recipe that's a lot less janky. Essentially, Wargreymon with Tai & Matt and the Melga's with the DNA omnimon. You can get up into omnimon while having all the protection of the wargrey line.
Nume, and AncientGaru are too fast for it to keep up, Diaboromon also isn’t great, the deck crumbles to dedigivolve, and Imperial has Dragon Mode, which can shut down the big Ace play. It also can have a rough time into Magna if you can’t Ace them. Tyrant also sucks, it’s hard to get up to the roughly 20k you need to get over a Tyrant, I’ve been running trident gaia to help, but it’s not a perfect fix.

the wargreymon digivolution gives him "may attack" so no, it was legal
