I started in 2024 been running a Gallantmon deck at my locals in NYC. Sometimes getting lucky, placing in price pools or taking first. Getting encouragement from those who knows he’s out of me in a long shot. Now that there is all this support everyone’s coming out of the woodworks with their own decks and I know it’s everyone’s favorite. I’m not special but by God does it suck to be a loyal fan and now everyone is doing the same deck as you!
BT12 Gallantmon > BT17 Gallantmon. Gives you raid, extra trash, easier to OTK combo if you have Gallant x and BT9 x antibody, much more superior. Ex2 takato must be 4 of as blitz is essential, lost way too many games because I couldn't find it. BT9 x antibody is better than proto in this deck as you want to use it's when attacking effect.
Thanks for sharing your insights! There are so many cool ways to build this deck at the moment, and just can't wait for BT2.5 for even more toys to play with!
@@torkplayz5695 if you don't find your takatos you're kinda fucked. But also have to consider one of the ways to play this deck is building in the back and trainings are a way to low pass your opponent consistently so they can't pressure you into having to promote to early
@Kingofknights1401 yes however you have 8 rookies that all can grab one of your digimon and a takato. Trainings create a more consistent build meanwhile the memory boost allows you to dig deeper and net the same memory. Also with the cool boys and proto forms it makes your offense Trainings a lot easier to fully whiff on

The other down fall of blackgrowlmon is you can’t use it for warp
Neither growlmon x, its really up to the player what version they wanna play
Guilmon is my all time favorite
What will kill this deck?
imo Omnimon is slightly better than crimson mode for the otk, you don't need the opponent to have 20 cards in trash 😆
Proxy?
No nsp yet. Sad
@@aaronwills7634 the nsp troup (me include) still waiting
Scrambles are way too good to not include in this, getting to rebuild or warp is so great. Won me my locals

U should run memboost over Trainings, cause try to force the opponent to play a flood gate. U can ez delete him and gain mems back => win
Trainings are better
Can be situational
@Kingofknights1401 entirely debatable especially with the GX, bc you care less about searching your takatos and more about finding your proper line

I love Gallantmon, but I can't make my decks too strong because I only use starters and wanna give every deck a mostly fair fighting chance.
