The loss of Berwick is quite a blow to the Bonnie Prince. Despite the cost in lives this will only be seen as a victory for the Hanoverians. I will assume that this victory is likely to prompt another positive(in government terms) response from southern Scotland and Northern England. Colonel Durand may become Brigadier General Durand after this. Tullibardine will need to strip all his garrisons to take back Berwick which risks further risings in the southwest and the far north(if the garrison is fully withdrawn from Fort George)..
Siege of Berwick:
You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
Exiting stuff! Looking forward to seeing what Charlie does next! Many Thanks Aaron and everyone involved in this campaign 👍
Really good, desperate stuff on the walls!
the explosion shots are off the charts :) totally epic
Really enjoying these, great work, much appreciated!

Excellent stuff
Great stuff.
Great. Thanks as always. I worry that the government forces are weaker now. Feels like they might need to be supplied and reinforced by sea?
Aye, still waiting to hear on the naval engagements outcome too. The navies should of clashed by now.
The government forces may have put a bit of a thorn into the Jacobite supply and communications, but unless reinforced, it seems tenuous
I do wonder if they weren't more dangerous to the Jacobites when they were on the loose and unpredictable.
Has the explosion at the gate meant that the government forces now can't hold the city?
Damage contained to the gate itself, and a few burned out properties within. Walls still strong and bastion guns still mounted.
@Prestonpans1745 I see. It was a spectacular explosion, wasn't sure how spectacular!
