    At what temperature do you grill the fish at? For how long do you grill the fish? What kind of chip wood do you recommend?

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  5 лет назад +1

      I used apple wood chips. I recommend fruit woods with fish because of their lighter smoke flavor. This fish cooked between medium and medium-high for 30 minutes. Cheers!

    Awesome channel! You did a great job on that fish and your mini shopping tour of NYC's Chinatown was excellent. You're in fact making it look easy as it really should be. I'm now a subscriber and looking forward to more of your videos. Have you done any cleaning videos for the Weber Q yet? I'll take a look and see. Thank you for teaching us with this awesome content. 🐟👍

    Nice. - New subscriber here. Great video. What do you think of putting the fish directly on the grates at the end to make the skin crispy? Would it maybe stick? Thanks Joe

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  4 года назад

      I've been cooking fillets on the Q directly on the grates recently. If the grates are oiled it the skin shouldn't stick.

    Can you send me a link to the silver tray where the fish was roasting? Can you use aluminium foil or perhaps weber griddle tray instead?

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  6 лет назад

      They're called roasting shields and Weber discontinued them in the U.S. You can use a double layer of tin foil with some slits cut into it. This video will show you how:

      Same here. I usually grill using charcoal but for the fall and winter where is gets dark early I am thinking of giving the gas Weber Q 1200 a try.

    You say "indirect grilling", but strictly speaking, this is not possible with a single burner.
