Been using protos with my ss tenyi deck for a min now and it honestly isn’t that oppressive. If your opponent already has their end board set up with negates and what not you still have to put in work to clear up the board for protos to come out and actually do work. Even then it’s a nice 3K defense beat stick to try and get over.
We have some issues, but Protos is definetly not one of them.
Protos is not banned in OCG, infact it's unlimited.

Sam, just played against someone who with guardian Eatos and the evil version of him, something sytche dreadlocks or something, looked pretty cool, would like to see u create a deck around them and try to win.

The first game is part of why I don't like playing master duel. Not even because of the card that should be banned, but you have game on the board and can already negate any possible out he has and still you waste your opponent's time playing unnecessary cards and forcing your opponent to sit through pointless solitaire or scoop and miss out on rewards. I appreciate that you make your moves quickly at the very least so its not as bad.

The ladder right now is full of runick with the annoying floodgate variant, mathmech rising in usage and will change to more problematic things. Of course you can summon protos under the ideal scenario but in most of the games you will be interrupted by every hand trap or floodgate that opponent has so you can't even search him so consistently or rely in one single card.
How to beat a Protos deck:
Welp, might add this to my Aesir deck since it has light, dark, and earth attributes, thanks for showing this sauce off!
Protos is part of the reason Swordsoul has a strong matchup against Despia. It doesn't do a lot to the other current high profile decks right now though, and doesn't help that much against the mirror at all, funny enough.

Until scythe lock gets addressed, protoss isn't that bad. Scythe is way more oppressive and isn't banned. The bad branded despia combo to prevent summons is more oppressive isn't banned. A lot of diamond 1 tenyi decks TAKE OUT protos to be more consistent. It's a powerful card, but it isn't banworthy except for people who play dark decks.

i switched to a swordsoul umi build a while ago. you get chengying and kairyushin out together and its pretty much gg. still locks your opponent out of the game but its got more counterplay than protos.
