Ban list is just an extra avenue of revenue for Konami. It's sad that people still think that they somehow cares about game balance nowadays and follow the banlist like their life depends on it. Money > Balance, this is why low rarity cards that is somewhat good got hit instantly while unfair boss monster that make a lot of money are allowed to run rampant until a stronger unit that makes even more money comes out
The problem is that dragoon is not strong but Dragoon and VERTE is a splashable boss monster package. The TCG took the route of banning Verte and keeping dragoon ( the better hit imo) and the other two formats banned Dragoon and kept verte.
So unless we get some other disgustingly busted fusion boss monster with an in archetype fusion card that fuses from deck dragoon still finna be dead for a bit

If you're playing a deck that cannot play without the grave sure. Besides that it has exactly 1 interupt per turn and no protection and Kashtira boards rarely if ever put up negates. Full power Tear was Tier 0. Full power Kash is not.
I'd argue Kash-Punk is stronger than Purekash as it ends on up to 3 negates and a bounce 4 to hand.
Definitely feels weaker than tear was when it came out. Absolutely agree going 1st is kinda ass. It bricks too much and everyone is playing Kaiju, nibiru and books. Better to go second, board break and OTK or get close and then red-eyes burn them or set up your field to fight their depleted resources on turn 3.
kash is not broken after all because of inconsistency so going second is a must in this deck
😂 lol tearlaments at full power would destroy this deck no cap. Kashtira is just Tier 1 , put some hand traps in your decks and you can do it.

Funny how everyone is like just draw the out. If that was the case then tear wouldn't be anything because all you need to do is lock them out of the graveyard and fusions. What do they have? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. A scoop! Just have cards that do that and the tear player cries

Also nibiru, raigeki.. the cards are strong but brittle. They don't have any actual defense

If u run a deck that mainly consists of spell and trap effects for negates and removals your golden
friendly reminder, just scoop and report kashtira playes. Konami might speed up the ban last if they notice no-one wants to play the garbage deck.
And I'm over here just wishing I had my Dino Deck done so I could play something other than Blue-Eyes.

Kashtira is quite powerful, but it’s definitely not going to be as oppressive as Tearlaments which had negates, shufflers and so many moving parts that needed to be kept track of, to even have a chance to win.
I run a blackwing deck and always beat tear going first and occasionally second. With kashtiras tho I just get murdered if they go first.
Exosisters destroy Tearlaments, A simple DD Fissure or MAcros cosmos shuts them down too, there are alot of ways to shut them down

I actually didn't have much trouble with Kashtiras a few times.
Instead of being some predictable meta player. All I really needed to do was study current popular archetypes. Figure out their strengths and weaknesses.
So, I built a custom deck by utilizing mainly Ra and Ojamas. Using Ojamas Trio and Duo really saved my ass against Subterrors.
Saw kastira support in the notice when I logged in I didn't even bother to exit I just pressed alt f4
Just last night i made a makeshift Kashtira deck and only have like 3 extra deck monsters, but it's one of the most oppressive decks I ever used. Only thing i saw really mess me up is Kaiju's, lava golem, evenly matched, raigeki, etc

TBH I'd run two Thrusts to search for pot of prosperity. and there are a few cards in this list that you could take out for the 2 thrusts.

@@Xxrasierklinge7 You don't need the forbidden lances, or pot of desires. You could replace either of those with Trusts. If you're running the books then you already have a way to "dodge" Imperms so you don't need Lances. You could even run 3 book of moon and 3 Book of Eclipse instead of the lances. It's your deck so play around, but you could also add in a Feather duster or Raigeki since you're running thrusts. You really only need 1 Change of Hearts if youre running thrusts. He also is running one Big Bang and that card seems so mid that you could honeslty replace that too for like an Evenly matched or something else.
I've been very underwhelmed while dueling kash in ranked. They are far less dominating than Tearlaments was in it's prime.
Can't even play a casual match without having to face kash, it's brutal

Kashtira mirrors are so fun. Taking control of an opponent’s Arise-Heart and then making your own is awesome. I’m glad Arise-Heart is not limited so it doesn’t come down to whoever Unicorns first.
Have fun dismantling the deck in a few months, it's Konami's infinite money cycle

Ya this is certainly a great going second deck profile but Kashtira is best going second really only in the mirror and a lot of those staple cards are going to brick if you go first … against any other deck that’s not a mirror match you gotta go FIRST with Kashtira! Arise-heart shuts down just about every other deck on its own, plus if you got some locked zones, Fenrir, hand traps, Crossout to stop evenly matched, and/ or big bang… ya just going first is always the better option and building a Kashtira deck for going first is the better option! Worst case in the mirror you can still get a Zeus

Fossil dyna, summon limit, floodgate trap hole, veiler, book of moon, gravekeepers, evenly, only be one, macro cosmos/D fissure, anti xyz such as galaxy eyes. Don't see why kash is such a issue. And there are plenty more I haven't listed. Know it depends on what you draw, but kash is in the same position
the harpyies card is a great Addition to this deck cause a lot of spells counter kashtira. Its gotten better and kashtira should not be downplayed
@@anyways827 I'm not taking the power of the deck away, as it is powerful. The point is alot of people are moaning about kash when there are alot of cards that can kill this deck, or other decks that need special summons. You get rid of arise and/or shang and the lock capability of this deck is gone, which massively reduces the power. Or your opo trys to go into shang after summoning twice, you flip summon limit, no shang. I won't ever detract from a decks power, but this deck, like all the other "broken/tier zero/bad for the meta/whatever you wanna call it" has the big weakness of having to special summon. You kill that or the effects, the deck can't play
I think the more the issue how powerful is if im being honest with you! It just arise heart is that much of a threat along with the other kash supports I’m mean having both a perma banish and field banish like how on earth do you deal with that and than you have to play around the other kash cards to by the time you do that you probably can’t setup your own combos 😅
@@jamesluong5299 gren maju. Kaijus. Lava golem. Sphere mode. Or stop shang with something like veiler, floodgate trap hole, book of moon, forbidden chalice. I listed about 10 ways in my original comment on ways you can stop a deck that needs special summoning. Skill drain, mirror of oaths to kill the shang so arise is dead. And I never mentioned about having to be a combo player. There are alot of just 1 cards that kill special summon decks. Inspector, vanities. As I said, the card is powerful, but not unstoppable. It can only field banish 1 per turn, if the material is there. It's just a modern version of having macro cosmos on the field. I understand people like to play decks they enjoy, but sometimes you gotta slap cards like this in the face

In my defense, Izis Tearlaments turned me into a monster
Can I point out that the only reason Ariseheart is so dreaded is because of the tabletop’s best of three format that deliberately prevents a blind second deck from overtaking it in the end?
I’ve already taken down Ariseheart boards several times now just by understanding what they put out to support it, then turboing out Hu Li with a Dance ES. Only losses were because of bricking on my opening hand a few times, but that’s just because I don’t want to limit my chances of not opening with Ha Rei, Hu Li or Ni Ni + a Dance.
Better option for making players stop playing kashtira as soon as the summon their card leave do not give them the satisfaction of playing their deck
I've only lost once to Kashtira when playing Crystal Beast.
Won every other game the rest.
And I'm playing only the overdrive version over the control build.
So I need to see what rise will do for the game.
The new trap is also underrated
So much fun. 3 maybe 4 meta decks. Sooooooooo much fun. Ssssssoooooooo fun. Me and my infernoble/blackwing mix deck will go back to TCG.
Say, Sam. I need advice on how to farm UR. I always struggle to get UR when want to build a powerful deck. Not to mention, I'm frustrated with the pulls whenever I spent my 1000 gems that makes me feel like my effort to farm gems are wasted.
As a free-to-play player, I have to tell you it's not easy. You have to grind every festival, log in every day, do every daily mission AND also have a little bit of luck in drawing. When you do that you have to really think about how much you want to build the deck and then make the decision. Fact is you can't build every deck you want without spending.
Hope my answer helps a little.
@@TheKing25069 I know, I do that many times but I'm having the worse luck with packs of my choice. When I want to build the deck just to beat strong opponent but it's very hard but one thing for certain, that I'll keep playing and grinding till I can build a strong deck. Thank you for the advice.
@@heart.strikermake a 2nd account and save your gems if you haven’t already man it’s definitely worth it and as for opening packs branded is the only pack I open up where I don’t get the cards I’m looking for and it seems that you don’t get any URS even if you spend 4k gems on it depending on what deck you want to build getting URS is very hard my advice to you is save your UR tokens if you do decide to make another account get the duel pass do the tutorial to get the 2400 gems save those head to rank and get a few matches go back to the main screen and collect the gems you get for first completing rank matches and save those up as well on my phone account I have 6500 gems left after spending about 4k on packs after having damn near 10k all year basically on my phone account
Iknow its not the best card but there is a card that is a quick spell that can SUCK your opponents Xyz monster and attach it to your XYZ monster 😂
I've gone up against 3 decks of this already, and it's super annoying.
Kashtira has some room to grow still as an archetype.

Not really a kash player but as far as i understood you can make this play no?
it also synergizes with D Shifter so as long D shifter resolves even if go second, Tearlament-punk engine player usually will pass the turn or surrender. I never Knew being toxic is the best feeling ever in MD, completely shut down any rogue deck and preventing opponent to make any move and surrender immediately, especially when they don't draw the out. #ToxicBestDeck.
Still not safe as long someone played board breaker deck pretty much is not that toxic unlike tears with ishizu that wont let you play on your own turn

Kashtira's biggest weakness... Chaos hunter + archfiend palabyrinth. You get a 3000 atk monster that prevents kashtira cards banishing anything.

Yeah so op i just got DLV 17 using an deck like dis but u still sometimes need to to draw more cards so im using 3 copies of scared sword 7 stars it helps alot with 3 copies of kashtira birth spell
try superheavy samurai deck
played the deck for a couple of ranks and its a solid 10/10 on the cancer scale, but with diablosis it would easily be a 12 or 13 imo. had to wash my hands afterward for sure and think its getting old quite quickly, will def not play it further ftm. most impactful however for me is thrust which is outing kashtira turn 1 singlehandedly and many other decks too. shifts some power to going 2nd which I appreciate, except in mikankos hands.. that deck is just silly as well

Starry Knights are the best ✨️❤️✨️. The new Starring Knight xyz support can perpetuate the combo nearly infinitely with the right setup/hand. I even stomped out one of these silly little Kashtira decks just the other day with them 😁
Sam for going second, you really should replace 2 of the forbidden lance with 2 dark ruler no more and replace book of moon with planet pathfinder. Big time help with the combos

There is a very simple way to completely shut down Kashtira, use Chaos Hunter.
I've already faced a few of these arise-hart decks. Only Purrley seems to be effective against it.
