Love it! One of my favorite things about master duel over paper is that when a deck becomes a meme or unexpectedly good the cards can't get scalped, like I can stash crafting resources and know that morphing jar won't suddenly go up 1000% in cost for me to buy it after someone makes it popular lol.
So, I crafted the deck and played quite a lot with it in ranked. Here's my review : This deck is good. FTK/OTK is really easy to do with it. And once you got into the loop, depending on your opponent's deck, you can almost deck out everytime. But I got huge problems with it. First : LUCK. No, you can't FTK/OTK with any hand. I don't know if it is just me, but I got really bad hands almost all the time. Yeah you can have Morphing Jar first turn, and with luck, you can summon it and flip it. But you got to be VERY lucky. Generally, I can have Morphing Jar first turn, but cannot summon it. SECOND : OTK. This deck is really bad against OTK by damage. Since you won't probably get into the loop first turn, your opponent can play, then he got a card advantage and if he can destroy the cards you have on the field (which he will easily do), then combo summon crazy monsters to kill you, then you didn't even played. You've been killed by second turn. Same if he got hand trap in the hand at the very begining. And I don't know if it is me, but I have around 90% of players that have the hand trap Ash Blossom first turn. THIRD : BANNISH. The deck is vulnerable to banish. Even though you won't see that played a lot, it can always happen, and that happened to me twice in a row. I didn't lose by damage, but by self deck-out, because I wasn't able to put back monster in the deck. Overall the deck is pretty good. It needs some tweaking, like placing some Reloads in case of bad hand. Also, A Day Of Peace to protect you (and deck out by 1 your opponent). Might need also monsters that are easier to special summon. Some of them cannot be summoned without anything, rendering the possibility of you getting a bad hand at start very likely. The deck isn't perfect, but it has crazy potential. I will edit THIS comment (if I can find it after lol) once I tweaked by my side the deck, to give you my modifications. Cheers ! God I love the deck and it actually helped me learned how to flip my Scapeghost better. But I can't imagine how the other player must've felt not by your strat but by how slow your turn was with all your taking. Which I liked that you explained but it was pretty slow when facing another human opponent.
Yeah I feel for his opponent he not only lost but he lost the worst way by not being able to draw on his first turn didn't get to play and it took for ever... it's wrong and I love it.
you got to be freaking kidding me recently someone was playing a 60 card deck against me with that card and they were playing cards like tearlaments and lightsworn and got up to like chain 20. Then they preceded to lock me out of doing ANYTHING

Just found this channel but been loving the Master Duel content! For deck ideas, I think Six Sams have alot of variety because they can go from Naturia Lockdown, to OTKs, to Rhongo shenanigans.
I have a friend that made an empty jar deck back around the time blackwings were big, it was decent back then but now new cards have made it stupid consistent. Definitely going to share this with him I'm sure he will enjoy it. Maybe a deck that takes advantage of bounce mechanics would be fun/annoying.

I feel like it'd be really cool to see timelords! They're super funny as a gimmick cause if the opponent doesn't have any good answers then the opponent just gets walled and loses from the effects of michion and sandaion.
Something you can consider doing is running a copy of magical thorn and Feather of the Phoenix in this deck to target recycle certain cards and inflict LP damage to your opponent for every card they’re forced to draw. I ran a variant of this deck in the early days of empty jar at 2011 worlds, and a lot of cards from that deck were either banned or limited the following year. If three Book of Moon(s) is a legal quantity of this card nowadays, this deck could 100% make a comeback. Very nice use of synchro effects, we didn’t have a huge variety of these back in the day. Very smart design overall.
I love jars. This was glorious to see in action. There's also a fiend variant you can do, although it's slower. Bistro Butcher, Hiro Shadow Scout, and one of the Monarchs. Use with traps like Secret Barrel and Bubble Crash. Use with spells like Recycle and Convulsion of Nature, if that's in Master Duel. Of course there's better options, but I like toying with my opponent.
Bro thank you so much, I was actually recently thinking of making a deck just like this and I put needle worm in along with jar of greed. My problem was lack of knowledge of how to perfect the deck style but seeing you do this makes me happy to see it is possible to do
I remember in 2010 I built my empty jar deck, with triple needle worms, my AD changer, gravity bind, level limit area B, and of course the lovely book spells that are the bread and butter along with morphing jar (duh) and man it was definitely my strongest deck against decks I kept losing too with my zombie and synchro decks standing no chance against six samurai, frog monarch and other decks of the time, the joy of seeing the empty jar deck still viable today is so badass
I've been loving Master Duel and definitely did learn a lot about different types of decks thanks to you. You definitely make interesting and enjoyable content. I really admire your optimistic aura and different strategies. Even if it makes the opponent rage. Lol
I feel maybe a Warm Worm as a Usless Discard would help as it being sent to the Graveyard would activate its effect of excavating 3 more cards from opponents deck
i feel like activating morphing jar effect on your opponent side of the field is a lot safer especially from imperm and veiler,, by using shi'en spy you can just give control morphing jar. but yeh the problem is i did not now how to do that consistently. card destruction might also be good for similar use like that of pot of avarice, you can discard less than 5 card to draw the same number but opponent will still have to discard 5 to draw 5. but its a -1 card advantage and since the deck using a lot more monster, i don't know if that's worth it.
I think that'd be a slim chance though. You'd have to get all 5 different pieces in one draw while every other hand made you throw pieces away. It would be hilarious though.
I would love to see sam playing more of something unique like empty jar rather than meta decks, or like a draft format with farfa, love the two of them together
Everything is meta at this point. Stop asking for "non meta" decks that not a thing anymore. It's mad annoying folks like you can't get with the program. It's meta vs meta now.... that's how it's been for the past few years.
Jinzo is my rage deck, it's pretty fun seeing other strategies try to improvise. Throw on inspector border and imperial order if you really wanna be annoying
Have been trying out this deck in Solo mode. I find it very inconsistent. I was able to win the first duel by the means of 0 cards to draw. But thereafter, I have not been able to gather the correct combination of cards ever again so far. About 6 duels in. Seems very situational. Or am I playing this wrong?
What has stopped you? Since this is a combo deck that uses xyz monsters almost any combination of cards should work to get this going. The only difficult thing is handling the quick spells and chaining at the right times from what I can see. Tbf though, I don't have this Game and have not played Yu-Gi-Oh for a long while, but this strat was My favorite in the DS games.
@@imatiu The XYZ’s work great for flipping, but there’s no XYZ or a lot of cards in it for looking for other spells, to keep the combo going. I dunno. Like I said, maybe I’m not playing it right
@@babylaqua maybe upping the spells could help, My old version (like 2008 old) used a fair bit of draw support to avoid that issue, as well as not banking everything on Jar, since it was not searchable unless you did some weird setups, I used Neddle Worm that makes the opponent mill 5 cards, as well as traps to keep the Jar alive like Waboku and Dark Bribe to stop any combo killer spells like Crossout Noble. Since My version is so old it works differently to this one but considering how solid the xyz are this version should be pretty consistent.

I use a similar deck where I add a cyber jar , outstanding dog Marron and a skull marked ladybug. Outstanding dog Marron, when meant to the grave, it gets shuffled back into the deck. I would add 3 of them. Skull marked ladybug, when sent to the grave you gain 1,000 life points. I would add 3. This card is a good one to use along with pot of avarice. Put al three back into the deck. When it’s drawn and sent to the grave again, it repeats the process. I Also use other magic and trap cards to bring more non monster card’s back to the deck. By using these tactics, it definitely helps me out by getting my life points up, along with getting a way to build my defense and removing my opponents cards at the same time.
Yea that's pretty annoying deck lol but I do the same thing with ghost trick cards since ghost trick can also flip it face down and they also mill off ur opponents deck xD. Its no FTK but still they don't last no mor then 3 or 4 turns since I'm milling up to 10 cards per turn and they never quit to very end since they get a couple chances. Ghost trick fun deck paired with morphing jar.
I would love to see from you a video with galaxy eyes or a video with irl dueling because now that master duel has released out almost no one is playing irl yugioh. Keep up the good videos 😊😊😊
Having an Outstanding Dog Marron with the effect of going back into your deck when it hits the GY would open up 2 card spaces in this deck or instead of morphing jar, use needle worm so only your opponent is losing their deck.

I think I’m gonna give my DDKing of the Grave Deck a shot, it’s my IRL Skull servant deck that can stack a lvl 1 monster to over 9000 Atk or use Necroface to play with the Different dimensions. I also utilize cards like Ninetails, and Zombina for some fun special summoning coupled with my prized trap “Grave of the Super Ancient Organism”
I use Dinosaurs. Like I want to use a Dino Banish deck with Tyranno Infinity, but it’s so hard to enjoy it when I have to sit there for thirty minutes watching my opponent cycle through their entire deck twice to get like two synchro monsters. But the other day I got to break a man, and gosh golly I loved it. He had just spent like legit 15 minutes getting a single strong synchro out on his third turn and I had a Jurrac Pterra face down on the field. He attacked it, and his monster got sent back to the extra deck. He surrendered immediately. He wasted almost half an hour, and I undid literally all of his work with a single monster.

For deck ideas, I think Six Sams have alot of variety because they can go from Naturia Lockdown, to OTKs, to Rhongo shenanigans.
I have a friend that made an empty jar deck back around the time blackwings were big, it was decent back then but now new cards have made it stupid consistent. Definitely going to share this with him I'm sure he will enjoy it. Maybe a deck that takes advantage of bounce mechanics would be fun/annoying.

I feel like it'd be really cool to see timelords! They're super funny as a gimmick cause if the opponent doesn't have any good answers then the opponent just gets walled and loses from the effects of michion and sandaion.

Something you can consider doing is running a copy of magical thorn and Feather of the Phoenix in this deck to target recycle certain cards and inflict LP damage to your opponent for every card they’re forced to draw. I ran a variant of this deck in the early days of empty jar at 2011 worlds, and a lot of cards from that deck were either banned or limited the following year.
If three Book of Moon(s) is a legal quantity of this card nowadays, this deck could 100% make a comeback. Very nice use of synchro effects, we didn’t have a huge variety of these back in the day. Very smart design overall.
I love jars. This was glorious to see in action.
There's also a fiend variant you can do, although it's slower. Bistro Butcher, Hiro Shadow Scout, and one of the Monarchs. Use with traps like Secret Barrel and Bubble Crash. Use with spells like Recycle and Convulsion of Nature, if that's in Master Duel.
Of course there's better options, but I like toying with my opponent.

Bro thank you so much, I was actually recently thinking of making a deck just like this and I put needle worm in along with jar of greed. My problem was lack of knowledge of how to perfect the deck style but seeing you do this makes me happy to see it is possible to do
I used to love making flip effects and card destruction decks with no offense whatsoever just all defense
I remember in 2010 I built my empty jar deck, with triple needle worms, my AD changer, gravity bind, level limit area B, and of course the lovely book spells that are the bread and butter along with morphing jar (duh) and man it was definitely my strongest deck against decks I kept losing too with my zombie and synchro decks standing no chance against six samurai, frog monarch and other decks of the time, the joy of seeing the empty jar deck still viable today is so badass
loving the throwback decks and rogue strategies, would love to see some other classics like BLS or Buster Blader!
I've been loving Master Duel and definitely did learn a lot about different types of decks thanks to you. You definitely make interesting and enjoyable content. I really admire your optimistic aura and different strategies. Even if it makes the opponent rage. Lol

I feel maybe a Warm Worm as a Usless Discard would help as it being sent to the Graveyard would activate its effect of excavating 3 more cards from opponents deck

i feel like activating morphing jar effect on your opponent side of the field is a lot safer especially from imperm and veiler,, by using shi'en spy you can just give control morphing jar.
but yeh the problem is i did not now how to do that consistently.
card destruction might also be good for similar use like that of pot of avarice, you can discard less than 5 card to draw the same number but opponent will still have to discard 5 to draw 5. but its a -1 card advantage and since the deck using a lot more monster, i don't know if that's worth it.
I would love to see someone playing against this deck as Exodia and draw all 5 pieces on the same proc of morphing jar, It would be so hillarious
I think that'd be a slim chance though. You'd have to get all 5 different pieces in one draw while every other hand made you throw pieces away. It would be hilarious though.
I would love to see sam playing more of something unique like empty jar rather than meta decks, or like a draft format with farfa, love the two of them together
Everything is meta at this point. Stop asking for "non meta" decks that not a thing anymore. It's mad annoying folks like you can't get with the program. It's meta vs meta now.... that's how it's been for the past few years.

Have been trying out this deck in Solo mode. I find it very inconsistent. I was able to win the first duel by the means of 0 cards to draw. But thereafter, I have not been able to gather the correct combination of cards ever again so far. About 6 duels in. Seems very situational. Or am I playing this wrong?
What has stopped you? Since this is a combo deck that uses xyz monsters almost any combination of cards should work to get this going.
The only difficult thing is handling the quick spells and chaining at the right times from what I can see.
Tbf though, I don't have this Game and have not played Yu-Gi-Oh for a long while, but this strat was My favorite in the DS games.
@@imatiu The XYZ’s work great for flipping, but there’s no XYZ or a lot of cards in it for looking for other spells, to keep the combo going. I dunno. Like I said, maybe I’m not playing it right
@@babylaqua maybe upping the spells could help, My old version (like 2008 old) used a fair bit of draw support to avoid that issue, as well as not banking everything on Jar, since it was not searchable unless you did some weird setups, I used Neddle Worm that makes the opponent mill 5 cards, as well as traps to keep the Jar alive like Waboku and Dark Bribe to stop any combo killer spells like Crossout Noble.
Since My version is so old it works differently to this one but considering how solid the xyz are this version should be pretty consistent.

I use a similar deck where I add a cyber jar , outstanding dog Marron and a skull marked ladybug.
Outstanding dog Marron, when meant to the grave, it gets shuffled back into the deck. I would add 3 of them.
Skull marked ladybug, when sent to the grave you gain 1,000 life points. I would add 3. This card is a good one to use along with pot of avarice. Put al three back into the deck. When it’s drawn and sent to the grave again, it repeats the process.
I Also use other magic and trap cards to bring more non monster card’s back to the deck.
By using these tactics, it definitely helps me out by getting my life points up, along with getting a way to build my defense and removing my opponents cards at the same time.
Yea that's pretty annoying deck lol but I do the same thing with ghost trick cards since ghost trick can also flip it face down and they also mill off ur opponents deck xD. Its no FTK but still they don't last no mor then 3 or 4 turns since I'm milling up to 10 cards per turn and they never quit to very end since they get a couple chances. Ghost trick fun deck paired with morphing jar.

Having an Outstanding Dog Marron with the effect of going back into your deck when it hits the GY would open up 2 card spaces in this deck or instead of morphing jar, use needle worm so only your opponent is losing their deck.
I always played mill decks in magic and heartstone, finally i found a cool list of a mill deck in yu gi oh too!

I think I’m gonna give my DDKing of the Grave Deck a shot, it’s my IRL Skull servant deck that can stack a lvl 1 monster to over 9000 Atk or use Necroface to play with the Different dimensions. I also utilize cards like Ninetails, and Zombina for some fun special summoning coupled with my prized trap “Grave of the Super Ancient Organism”

I use Dinosaurs. Like I want to use a Dino Banish deck with Tyranno Infinity, but it’s so hard to enjoy it when I have to sit there for thirty minutes watching my opponent cycle through their entire deck twice to get like two synchro monsters.
But the other day I got to break a man, and gosh golly I loved it. He had just spent like legit 15 minutes getting a single strong synchro out on his third turn and I had a Jurrac Pterra face down on the field. He attacked it, and his monster got sent back to the extra deck.
He surrendered immediately.
He wasted almost half an hour, and I undid literally all of his work with a single monster.
Discovered the channel by chance, interested by the give away but definitely stayed for the content, f'n good shib right there
