Not long ago scientists believed single cell organisms could only be microscopic and then found out they can actually be quite large comparatively. A defibrillator should always be used if accessible while doing cpr. It’ll literally do all the heavy lifting and will only allow you to shock if the person needs it.
Another fun fact: 98% of the time cpr does not work, and you often have to break ribs while preforming it. This is one of the reasons my moms friend ( she and my moms are nurses) has dnfr (do not fucking resuscitate) tattoo on her chest.

Paramedic here, and I was happy he looked at the face (and I assumed the character checked the central pulse while doing that) first, then facepalmed when he when to the hand and everywhere else instead of CPR. The game also didn’t prompt him to reassess the pulse after seeing the sinus rhythm when it could be PEA. Just things people who work in EMS notice, I guess.

I will say though I am impressed that the game is more realistic than I thought. It's also probably worth noting that I don't have enough field experience to be wholly confident in what I say here, as I went to work as a tech in the ER rather than on a rig, so my limited field knowledge comes from the class, as well as the 2 shifts I did for clinical time as part of that class.

Even though he has no idea what he's doing, and it's funny anyways, I'm a little annoyed he saw no pulse, then decided to finish his primary instead of immediately beginning cpr.

@@tylercady3985 I was looking for a comment like this. Paramedic here, and I was happy he looked at the face (and I assumed the character checked the central pulse while doing that) first, then facepalmed when he when to the hand and everywhere else instead of CPR. The game also didn’t prompt him to reassess the pulse after seeing the sinus rhythm when it could be PEA. Just things people who work in EMS notice, I guess.
@@tmasterlordoflightning4754 I would hope it would work better in multiplayer mode. I guess it would be a little difficult to do things correctly in that scenario if you were alone. I will say though I am impressed that the game is more realistic than I thought.
It's also probably worth noting that I don't have enough field experience to be wholly confident in what I say here, as I went to work as a tech in the ER rather than on a rig, so my limited field knowledge comes from the class, as well as the 2 shifts I did for clinical time as part of that class.
I love how the twin robbers messed up so badly that the other twin headshotted his brother, missing the police officer, and only making it about 20 meters away from the scene
