- This video was filmed at Anime Evolution in 2008. The footage from this skit got lost over the years and was just found recently. Unfortunately, some clips were lost for good (Irvine's intro and the running into the invisible walls that so commonly spite you in FF games). The point of this video was purely to make fun of the sillier aspects of the game- like Zell's obsession with "hot dogs", Rinoa's uselessness and the fact that all of the characters followed you around.
Our friend Will jumped in randomly so the boss battle at the end was unplanned. He just put Timcampy on his head and Final Fantasy "bounced" in front of us XD
Who knows, maybe we will try filming something like this again- only better, but for now- enjoy the crack.

This is adorable!!! It's cute that you tried imitating FFVIII characters! Hehehehe!!! Their running tho! So cute!!! I like the movements of the monsters and especially the characters in FFVIII battles! :D I hope you do better next time tho. ^^

I was a little let down when the party size didn't turn out to be an issue. What's with this 4+ group of people, running around in circles? We all know it's humanly impossible to have more than 3 people together at a time! :-P

Dude I loved it. Great costumes, loved the bouncing when characters are not moving. Music, so nostalgic.
You don't need to run around in circles if you know the refine recipes to make free money. You become mega rich very quickly just from refining. You don't even have to go anywhere.

I liked when the woman in blue, can't remember her name, Heart-something, get's knocked out at the start of the fight because she was knocked out before, but could still run into the fight to start with. Satire.

That was hilarious! All the running around in circles with great ff8 style follow the leader choreography. My favorite part was when the battle started and Rinoa was already dead. I always hated it when that happened.

best thing about finaly fantasy games was when you started a battle and all but one of your characters begin the battle by falling down dead while the only living member is staggered at 1 HP

Hilarious!! Nicely done, dude!! :DDDD As for the boss fight, sometimes I like to keep my Squall's hp on 1 hit point or just particularly low so I can max out his Overdrive/limit break mode repeatedly till the boss is dead. Tried it on Greyer and Ultimacia, it was fun. XD
