This video is on the new Bronze series of speakers from @monitoraudiogroup . We will go over the technology they all share, then get into the differences between some of the different models.
Monitor Audio was founded in 1972 outside of Cambridge in the UK. For almost 5 decades, they have been winning awards for their value-oriented products that capture the ears of music lovers with their lively and fun to listen to sound. With the introduction of these new models, the Bronze series enters its 6th revision over its 20-year span. The new models not only sound better but have a look that seems far more polished and contemporary than you would expect for their price range.

I've always liked the performance and design of Monitor Audio speakers. I think they are one of the great values in in this hobby.

I bought a pair of the Bronze 100s running them on my old Teac AG-H300 in my bedroom. My first utterance was "wow". The bass is amazing and the high end "shimmers". They're simply incredible, and I used to build speakers for a living. No sub needed at all.

I bought my first monitor audio speakers back in May. I decided to go with a pair of Bronze 200's. Within 2 weeks I ordered the AMS and center channel. And now I've ordered the 50's. The sound they produce is amazing and I find myself rewatching my entire collection, still hearing new details in movies I've watched countless times over the years.
I can't wait to give them the power and room they deserve.
Lance, thanks for sharing. It sounds like you had a similar experience to our ears, the 200 is just stunning for the $$. We hope you enjoy the setup. An Anthem AV540 would be a great companion AVR, we should have some back in stock soon :)
I have the 500's as front left and right, plus 4 Bronze 100's as side and rear surrounds. I got a MA Gold C350 Centre for under £500 UK (The Gold C350 centre, has a similar sensitivity, and can drop to 40 Hz, with a 200w output, so matches the 500's well). The front 3 are powered by an Emotive BasX A3, the four 100's are powered by an Emotiva BasX A4, the Denon 6700h, powers the 6 B&W M-1 heights. and I have 2 SVS PB1000 Subs. very happy with the overall sound, and more than enough, for my ears and my neighbours. lol.
I went with an anthem mrx 740 😁 talk about a step in the right direction lol!

I have Bronze 5, FX surrounds plus C150, and would say that everything you say here is the same, mine are 6 years old and really I am impressed. For the ceiling, I have four c265-idc and the rears are w280 as the room is long, that gives me my 7.1.4 atmos system, and its fantastic

I have a 500 bronze and I first connected it with a Yamaha R-N803 and it had acceptable sound, then I wanted to upgrade the system, so I bought it from Cambridge Audio, a CXN V2 network player, plus an AXR 100 amp with the 500 bronze I had, and the result was The details of the sound went much higher, but the depth and bass of the sound dropped a lot. Now I am thinking of replacing the AXR 100 with the CXA 81 in the hope that I will achieve a sound with full and accurate midrange and bass.
The CXA81 will give them a lot more current. That should do the trick. Thanks for watching

It's been about two months since I replaced the AXR100 with the CXA81.
There was not a moment that I did not enjoy the sound quality of Bonze 500 with CXA81 and I must say that this pair has a unique sound, especially in the details and bass frequencies.
Which, of course, is the opinion of my friends.
Maybe you need better cables for speakers.
Anyway, I'm very happy with the combination of CA and MA.
is it possible to have the tower speakers at the "back" of 5.1 set up? I have a shelf at the front so need to have the 50s (I want the 100s but I also want the atmos and they don't fit the 100s). Also can the upfiring speaker be ok at the rear on top of the tower speakrs?
Yes, especially if the tweeter is close to rear height. Yes, you can do that as well, most AVR's let you tell the software where and what type of Atmos speakers are used.
the black cabinet versions look more like a dark matte gray in the video which I like. can you confirm that in person they look that way?
The face of the speaker is gray, but the rest is black. Thanks for watching
Q Acoustics 3050i or M B 200?
For music and movies 50/50 split, I listen to a wide spectrum of music so bass is important as the instrumentals.

Hiya great video, I was looking at the Q acoustics 350i but seeing them in the shop they are massive won't suit my room size was the advice, there's 200 ,50 as the back look awsome some comments ,,say they sound awsome to. !!

How do these compare to the Energy Cf-70's?

I find the rectangle cabinet really boring. I have however experienced their Platinum speaker range and they sound incredible but they also cost a fortune.
