Very informative video as usual. Would have been nice if you would have compared then to similarly priced speakers and given an opinion. There are no reviews on the Apex speakers, not in English anyway. If you’re a distributor for Monitor Audio would you kindly consider doing a review of those speakers please. Keep up the good work. 😄
What would you suggest for an office vinyl set up? I have been thinking about silvers, as I have got RS1 in my theatre setup. But I hear very good reviews about new bronze. And I wonder if I shall go for bookshelves and small sub or floor standing to get a better bass.
Hey! I’ve seen in another video some stating bronze 500 can be close to the wall because of the way they design. Can you confirm that, you aware of that?
Question for a beginner : can those AMS speakers be used with a "simple" stereo system ? Imagine 2 bronze 200 + 2 ams on the top of each. Would it be ok without surrounds/central speakers ?
So at the end he mentions a comparison with the B&W 606 & 607...I don’t see that anywhere and I’m very interested bc that’s what I’m down to at the moment.
Hello, have you bought something? I think by your room size the 50s are enough. I have also a small room, just a little bigger than yours. I think it would be enough to buy the 50s for me, but I'd like the 200s 😂. In your case though, the 50s are good enough
You made me fall in love with monitor audio Bronze series. I would love to build my dream home theater system. With Bronze 1500 center speaker. A pair of Bronze 100 bookshelf speakers. A pair of Bronze 500 foback A pair of Bronze elevation for upfairing speakers. Maratz sr 8015 or Yamaha RX a8a. I don't mind used ones if they are still in a good condition. I'll be waiting for your reply sir
@@introid038 i had bronze100 6g, they 8” and they can handle some serious power, you not gonna buy bronze 500 for the best musical sound, im sure its not their purpose, they will play very nice but not the top sound, but boy will they be able to take the punch! It depends what you looking for. For me bw606 sounded nicer than bronze 100, but bronze was able to take more!
Hi Edvardas, thank you for your comment. The 50s would be sufficient in that room but I think you'd definitely benefit from the 100s for the extra bass. If it was any smaller, I'd have said go for the 50s but in that size room, the 100s would be able to perform well. Of course, it's dependent on budget too. I hope that helps!
I had 100, what you looking for in your set up? Play computer games, listen to music at medium volume, bass tonality musicality , you see what im saying? So yr question is abit unfilled
@@user-el2zj3pw5r they will be used for little of everything. Gaming is not FPS, or competitive, will be listening at moderate levels to music (various styles except for metal, dubstep, hip-hop), podcasts, series/movies from pc. Maybe in the future they will be beggining of home cinema setup
@@edvarim 100s, can play very loud and very very powerful, trust me. So you might as well start with them but make sure box measurements are ok for you because they aint small! 50s will be ok for loud listening and overall will be fine, but simply between the two there is no comparison. 50s will be like yea they great, 100s will literally put smile on your face how much they can handle. Just depends what you need. Make sure amp is powerful enough to run them, they can eat all the power you will throw at 100s
@@user-el2zj3pw5r i know the prices are slightly different, but currently I'm looking at monitor audio bronze 50/100, jamo s803 and triangle br02/03, elac debut b5.2/b6.2. but can't go and listen to them due to quarantine :(
These speakers are rubbish and I would avoid. I bought a pair of these and after a year the cones started developing cracks. The supplier denied any liability and said someone had deliberately damaged them. I was doubtful but ended up paying for new cones. A year on the same thing is happening again. They now accept the damage but say they have been over driven. Frankly I am an older chap who seldom blasts the volume so I doubt this. They are just a defective design in my opinion. Don't go near them is my advice.

I have seen many reviews and tests of the Bronze 100's, they seem to be a good speaker at a bargain price (£260 a pair in the UK) I have just purchased 4 of them for surround and rear surround duties, will be powered by an Emotiva BasX A4 power amp, connected to my Denon X6700 AV amp. I looked at the Silver 100's, they sound slightly better, and look great, but not great enough, to justify paying 3 times the price for such a small sound improvement on what will be surrounds. Maybe if I was using them as fronts I would get the Sliver's.
Great rundown, highly informative - Thanks so much for taking the time!

So when will we be seeing the comparison video between the Bronze 50 and 100 and the B&W 606 and 607 as promised @ 17:32 ?
Great video, 👍🏻 and subscribed
Great to have you onboard Colin 👍

He keeps saying centimetres. Can you imagine a 231 cm wide speaker? haha.
😂😂
What has the better base for movies The floor 200s or 100 ?
How to connect them all together? I don't see 3.5mm or Optical input?

I think you need a 7.1.2 AV Receiver, which supports Dolby Atmos.
How do these compare to some models of SONY like HTS700RF?

annoying that the atmos dont fit the 100
Do the grills come of those Atmos speakers?
They do yes. I have the 100s and the grills are magnetic. Which is super cool
they need to make a 6 inch woofer model.
That music it pants for a comparison
Is entangelment faster than light? Would this allow entanglement to continue when one particale entered a black hole?
Do they have built in amp
No
not centimeters, its millimeters

Speaker manufacturers are the modern snake oil merchants. So much marketing fluff.
or golf club makers. but, these people have return policy. and they are very good for their price .
I would say audio cable manufactures are, some make silver speaker cables costing 1000€/m
