I have ps4 Slim, same situation LOL, long loading screens, texture not loading/ pop-in and sometimes audio delays in GOW ragnarok is the main reason why i decided to upgrade to SSD!
@@TechnoFreak-IN ok let me know how's it performing in a few days again I heard that bx500 doesn't come with a DRAM and it causes problems sometimes, so let me know..
so like always i watch these videos and then try them myself and something always gives me a fit. After I backed everything up I cleaned the PS4 fan and then installed a Samsung 870 evo SSD. I held the power button until it goes to safe mode and it says use a usb cable to nnect to a controller and then press the PS button. When i press the PS button it does nothing. What am I doing wrong?
@@RamoMonreal thanks i did all of that. I am saying that my controller will not connect using a the usb cable. I called a friend and he asked if it was the cable that the PS4 came with and I said no. He told me that there is a difference between a charging usb cable and a charging and data cable. So I ordered a charging and data cable off of amazon so ill see if that works. If not ill send everything back and just use the original HDD.

Picked up the crucial mx500 rather than the bx today for £60 on Amazon. What's the difference?
Did some research, and it looks like the mx500 has a little better read/write speed compared to the bx500. Have fun once you have it installed!
Does your ssd still work fine with ps 4?
Yup, SSD is still working on my PS4.
@@RamoMonreal okay thanks good to know I purchased this ssd
