    Ultra has a denser string pattern and much higher RA stifness compared to Clash.. In my opinion Wilson does not have any problem.

      Yeah I agree because you know a lot about tennis gear. But do you think that an average tennis player will think about that? I feel like those two racquets are meant for the same type of player. Thanks for watching!!🎾

    Clash v1 has a problem when u hit the ball near the frame. But was solve on v2, But when it hit the ball on the sweet spot its has a very good power that is why most player consider it as not consistent, need to spin the ball for consistency

      Yeah I agree with you. I felt like the V2 was better for this aspect. Thanks for watching 🎾🎾

    I agree the Ultra and Clash are very similar. I play with both. The Ultra has a 71 RA and the Clash has a 57 RA. Sometimes my arm gets tired or I get a little tennis elbow with the stiffer Ultra. So I switch to the Clash for a few weeks until my elbow feels better. I don’t have to adjust my game too much when switching between rackets. The Clash is definitely arm friendly and I have a lot of control with it.

    I had a v1 pro for a while but couldn't keep strings in it. Never seen a racket eat strings like that. However, if used properly, with high vertical headspeed, it was very predictable and precise enough for competitive play. It's a spin racket, and it does that job very well. When I hear how uncontrollable it is, I think "learn to hit topspin! a LOT of topspin!" The problem is that marketing this as a beginner's racket (it isn't) puts it in the hands of people who are not going to be able to use it as it is designed to be used. It is an intermediate spin racket for people who hit with a loose hand, wrist and arm and with high vertical headspeed at contact. Marketing it to people with elbow and shoulder problems puts it in the hands of people who generally suffer from poor preparation and resulting bad swing technique and thus can't generate the necessary rpms. The v2 seems to be a dumbed-down version for flatter hitters and is as a result a racket with no virtues at all.

      Thanks for your comment! I agree with you it all start from the marketing. Can wait to see how the v3 is gonna be!

    Thanks for this excellent review, nice hitting! I noticed that Wilson put this racquet in the hands of a lot of the former WTA Pro players of the 70's BJK and Evert to name two, I've seen them hitting with the version one, I'm like I don't want to play with an old ladies racquet 😅 haha!! They could still beat me tho!!!! 🙏👍

    Good for beginners and recreational players who just like to have fun without being much competitive. Racket is really fast and produces good spin and slice serve,. But i do not understand the hype. I used it for 8 months (first racket) with various strings. Not stable, not consistent. Hyper-g suited this racket the best. I used v.1

    The Clash was a marketing success but an on court failure. Super poor consistency. Unpredictable response. Somewhat unstable. Nothing consistently good. People buy it but then many buyers serious about their tennis eventually dump it.

    man you've got one problem - pro could play with even wooden racket, but diffrence in modern markets is kinda 10-15%. So it means you words about shit :D Decent Pro-like could play with everything...

    • @AlexTennisChannel
      @AlexTennisChannel  Год назад

      Yes I agree but at the same time pro players are really picky with their racquet because they need to feel confident with it. Thanks for watching 🎾
