    I've tried a lot of the current YONEX frames (Ezone 98 / 100 2022, Percept 100D 2023, Vcore 98 2022) and do enjoy most of their offerings. The Percept 100D is probably the best of the bunch for me as it is extremely stable in rallies, has excellent control at net and can serve well - if you get your weight transfer right and dont try to arm ball the serve. The Ezone 98 is an excellent racquet overall and is probably best suited to someone who is willing to take the ball early and attack. That said it does have a reputation as an arm killer if you don't string it with soft strings due to the frames stiffness. In terms of the Vcore, unless you are use to the overly aggressive isometric head - which puts the sweet spot unnaturally high in the string bed it can be a tricky frame to play with. I have a friend who has been playing with the Vcore 100 2022 for over a year and I allowed them to try my Extreme Pro 2024. The first thing he said was that he felt the Extreme had a massive sweet spot in comparison, which seems to suggest that like most of us at a rec level we are use to hitting from the centre of the string bed rather than somewhere artificially high.

    I am a flat ball hitter who came out of the wood racquet era as a kid. I have the Percept 100D to help with my 1hbh and Flat 1st servers. the 100D really excels (with lead in the hoop) for my backhand drives and slices. My forehand mechanic needs to be tweaked so that's on me. Flat serves are good as long as I utilized full body motion and do not get lazy with my tosses and toss height. This unit is a deadly knife for slices and slice serves. Weight was added for some stability onto the hoop as well under the buttcap to offset. I am in the hunt for a racquet that can match up with my old Kfactor SixOne 95sq inch heads.

    Strongly disagree about Davis Cup, blue-clay Madrid Open and Laver Cup. Yeah, you're right about the format of the Davis Cup, it's not good, it's been sacrificed but based on the prestige alone it should have been in the "really good" section, though I do hope they'll change the format, I know nationalism is the new enemy of the West but the Davis Cup deserves better. I disagree about the blue clay Madrid Open because I want as much diversity as possible in tennis, both in the style of the tennis of the players and in the surface. I want the blue clay back and I want carpet back. Federer has retired, Nadal will soon and Djokovic won't play much either so ATP can stop being scared about what superstars prefer. And the Laver Cup is great, you rarely see rivals cheer for one another, the more friendly atmosphere Ilie Nastase warned it would be lost after the introduction of the rankings (even if he was the first #1, that's just the lad he was) comes back there at least for a few days. But otherwise I appreciate your video, I can tell you're passionate about this, keep it up!

    I feel it has tons of spin and power and nearly no control in comparison with Prestige Tour. Feel is good, but again, Prestige is much better. Racquet is nice to the hand and arm. It is very stable, better than Prestige, feels stiffer on impact. It is really whippy. I do not understand how someone could add weight to the handle to increase this feeling. Gromets are great, but some may miss the doortrap. I think that this racquet is slightly better for flatter shots, they are more precise. But this racquet can do both flat and a lot of spin. It is quite unique in this regard. Seetspot is a bit smaller than on 99 inch Prestige. It is much better than Prestige in defense and easier to use, mainly in long matches. Best shot for this racquet must be return, then slice and serve.

    • @AlexTennisChannel

    The OBN isn’t a bad tournament because of the venue and the organization. It’s because of the timing in the calendar which is after Wimbledon when the players are tired, right before Cincinnati M1000 and not far before the US Open. Because of that, we never get the full roster of players and/or the top players get eliminated early. In the past Federer rarely came to Montreal, and now this year with especially the Olympics, Alcaraz and Djokovic were not coming either. But Alcaraz came to Cincinnati instead. Of course we all pray for a retractable roof on centre court one day because we are fed up of the rain cancellations!

    Fairly accurate review on the Extreme Pro, I've had mine for awhile now and stuck some weight in the hoop and butt cap to give it that stability the frame lacks for defensive shots and against bigger hitters. Im actually surprised with the comments about the Speed MP Auxetic 2 (2024), I think that was an amazing update coming from the 2022 version - fixing the stability of the racquet and giving it a solid feel and it's probably one of the most well rounded 100sq racquets on the market atm.

    Yes I do like the new way! Talking about the racquet, it sounds very interesting but that yellow color isn’t for me. I am curious to know on how does it compare to the PA98?

    • @AlexTennisChannel
      @AlexTennisChannel 8 дней назад

      I will do a comparaison video that’s for sure! It’s a bit more forgiving compare to the PA98. Overall easier to play with because the sweet spot is bigger. I feel that the PA98 is better when you hit consistently in the sweet spot but the Extreme Pro easier to use in a normal day when you don’t hit good or bad. Thanks for watching 🎾🎾

      @@AlexTennisChannel thank you for letting me know. I am interested in trying out the Vostra v9 305 and vostra v8 300. I already tried the v-cell v1 pro however hated it because of the tiny sweet spot. Do you think I should also try the v1 evo or not? I plan on playing itf futures tournaments and cannot find a Volkl racquet I like for now

      The rs is more control oriented but it’s very similar in terms of stability. Two great racquets! I would say that the Rs is more similar to a Head Radical. Thanks for watching 🎾🎾

    I’m definitely on this list of player type 😂 That said I play for fun, and the racquet that i keep in the bag - that is above my skill level is definitely my HEAD Gravity Pro 2023. It has an intoxicating feel when struck well but is generally too demanding to play with over an extended period of time. Currently I switch between a HEAD Extreme Pro 2024 and YONEX Percept 100D both are customized

    Good luck getting Artengo in the United States. They pulled out and a person can’t even get their products online if you live in America. When I called their customer service they said the only way I could get one of their frames if I found a person in a country they do sell to and have them ship it to me. I line the tr960 and was ready to get two more when I found out. IMO decathlon can go screw themselves. How do you purposely not sell online to a huge population of people?? I am still mad telling me find someone in another country to buy and ship it to me. Kiss my ass decathlon. Poor Monfils with a sponsor who band sales in a huge tennis country.
