Bob Cobert based his new theme for the series "Blankety Blanks" on "Sports Page". Just like he did for "The $100k Pyramid" based on "Tuning Up". The "Blankety Blanks" theme was later revived for "Double Talk".

"Sports Page" was also used as the theme to the "Blankety Blanks" pilot #3 from 1975.

Actually, there have been at least two versions of "Beat the Odds" that were produced; an early-1960s Los Angeles-area show with Dennis James, and a late-1980s syndicated daily show with Johnny Gilbert (where the consolation prize was a copy of the Funk & Wagnalls Dictionary)
