- While I use this kind of glasses more than I would like to admit, there are still some "problems" that seem to be impossible to overtake, mostly because of Google itself and the Android system,
for example. As with all the others, these have 2 big problems:
1. I can't use them with my phone in my pocket and
2. They have the habit to use my phone battery
But this... this is the ROKID STATION. A portable brain for your glasses.
About the 2 problems? It solved both of them and more. it actually changed completely the way I use them!

Wonder if Retroarch works well on here for SNES and GBA. I wouldn't expect a whole lot but would be nice. Connect a Bluetooth controller and have fun.

I actually tried and while Ive got video out, I couldn't get any audio, also I think that the type c has some different pins, because connecting them sounded very crunchy, and to be honest I might have damaged the connection.
I would not recommend it
I wish it were USB-C to USB-C. It would be perfect for traveling with, but personally I hate carrying extra cables, particularly device-specific ones. I know it's not a dealbreaker for probably most people, but it's my opinion.

If these devices had console & PC remote play and Xbox GamePass out of the box would be a great selling point.

Rokid Max glasses VS XREAL Air ?
I wish the glasses with a Samsung S22 would allow the normal screen being seen on the glasses with the touch screen on the S22 phone like if you are watching the Rokid normal screen. On my laptop, a Dell convertable would allow the laptop to fully shut off while viewing screen. My neck and back are loving not bending over hurting my back.
I do wish the hub had a longer USB-C, I had to have my daughter order an extention to make it work, my laptop and cell phone needs a longer male USB-C.
A wonderful Amazon support person helped me with a broken station. I wish Rokid had a phone technical support phone line, the advertised doesn't work.

Yo creo que las mejores gafas son las xreal air dos pro y utilizarlas con un teléfono Samsung que tenga Samsung dex es la mejor experiencia en todo sentido calidad de las lentes sobre todo

For this price I'd want more
Memory: These days 2gb isn't enough. I would expect minimum 6gb-12gb
Storage: Again 32gb not enough. Minimum should be 128gb with external plug n play SSD that merges partitions into one so you get more storage space via usb c port.
Battery: Minimum should be 20,000mAh QC4
Good parts are that it supports PS5 controller via Bluetooth so playing games via installing Google store is good.

Ill prob wait for the Q3 as that looks better for the same price and its VR and simulated screen size is far better than this. Q3 is a no brainer being at the same price! No reason why these display glasses are so much as i feel $200 max for just the glasses is the price they should be, not $439 or $529 for the roku box and glasses which is a inferior device Vs the Q3 and the rokid/Xreal being simple and new doesnt justify their pricing.
If you've used the quest or any VR, you'd know that they are way different. The glasses give a much clearer screen then even the q3 will, and the ease of use is much better. I love my quest, but I've been using my xreal glasses way more
why need portable android box when u can use your phone?? doesnt really make sense
its more comfy to wear, the screen dont need to be turned on all the time, less warmth and bulky big in your hand, and spares your phone battery, better simpler controls and 5000mah batterylife without the phone screen needs to waste battery by keeping its screen on all the time for nothing and fits in the rokid max case perfectly and also less bothering in your pockets and many more good reasons.
Because not all phones has video out like the pixel phones so why buy a whole new phone for this when you can spend $120ish for this roku box.
You can put it in your pocket and it doesn't use your phone battery, you are free to still use the phone tho :)
I'm sorry, I think you're lying to us. You don't show any Netflix app, but mention Netflix streaming (minute 5:07). I read in Reddit that Netflix is not available in the Play Store in Rokid Station, and they side load the apk but can't make it work. Here is the explain from Reddit:
When I side-loaded Netflix in my previous testing, it started up and allowed me to browse through and select one of my family profiles, then launched the main interface and looked as if it was going to work. However, at this point the physical buttons on the Rokid Station and the remote control no longer navigate the interface, so it's not possible to browse titles and start any videos. Only the back and home buttons work to exit out of Netflix.
You loose your credibility there and confirm that you're just another sponsored sold out RUclipsr.

is there a browser for using discord? or a discord app? i want to watch youtube together with discord or play some activities
You can install discord yes, Im not sure you are gonna be able to use that and RUclips at the same time tho
discord has a watch together activity for youtube buildin, it works on the most browsers@@Tyrielwood
