I’m glad you’re not one of those jerks who doesn’t want to teach people and just show off. Thank you for taking your time and sincerely trying to teach people something
@@akinidingus9703 because if the video is supposed to be showing and teaching how to do techniques just showing off wouldnt be helpful to people who want to learn
Man I've been trying to figure a technique for the quick bippity bop trick and your the only one that I can relate to understand it! Just need alot of practice now
Thanks, big man! I'm always looking to improve my bass play and this is a challenge worthy of effort. You make the result sound just brilliant. Cheers! And subscribed :)
Daughter of a bass player and I just stopped by because I used to sit and watch my dad rehearse and I missed it I used to imitate his slap bass on my air gutiar
hello Daric, I really like your way of explaining and your honesty thanks I want to ask you what brand are these basses that you use? I see you one brown and one black thanks again, greetings from Spain.
Sounds like Victor Wooten. I think I got the triplet thing down, I have a hard time applying it musically tho. Thanks for the lesson. This helps a lot.
If you're too lazy to watch the whole video just use the slow down button on the right corner of the play screen so you can see what he's doing in slow motion when he slaps at the beginning! I'm just watching the whole thing so I can hear the explanation and tips since I'm watching from my phone and it doesn't have the slow down tool.
You can tell by his face that “hammer on the D and pluck the D” he was so close to saying ‘that’s what she said’ 😂😂 great video though, I’ve been playing for 16 years and still learning something new
Went ahead and subscribed since it helps you out. You're helping me out so its only right haha. Switching from a primarily metal bassist to a funk/r&b bassist is proving to be a lot of work especially with working on double thumbing. My thumb is raw and my nail is scratched to bits haha
Wow the thumb resting there just helped me soo much!! Holy shit.Your the best on the internet .Way better then Scott in my opinion. Scott wastes allot of time. You get right to the goodness.
Feel and personality are vital of course, but to my ears the fastest, and attractive ‘decorative’ slap component which is taught here, is in fact 16note triplets, not 32nd notes.

Totally agreed. Quality stuff. There are so many people who teach wrong stuff. Especially the fingering and stuff
This guy is a great teacher and bassist. So glad this exists.
I've been searching for this particular technique.......thanks a tone.

''When you can snatch the pebble from my hand,...'' - Excellent Explanation: Watch and Learn!
That facial exressions are amazing 0:39 😊
thanks a lot. Now we know what Victor Wooten does. It seems so difficult but put it in parts and it seems like anyone can learn it too.
José Damián Bazaga Ruiz now we now victor wooten is human too
Sounds like Victor Wooten. I think I got the triplet thing down, I have a hard time applying it musically tho. Thanks for the lesson. This helps a lot.

You can tell by his face that “hammer on the D and pluck the D” he was so close to saying ‘that’s what she said’ 😂😂 great video though, I’ve been playing for 16 years and still learning something new
great lesson but these are 16th note triplet.
+sonic shori thanks, you're exactly right! Forgot to correct that in the lesson. The correction is in the description. Thanks again ✌🏾

How long it’s take to get use with the right hand
it's a good video
What bass model do you use in this video? It sounds amazingly!
What brand of bass not expensive but good quality.?
Search up corridos with the slap bass and you’ll see the difference and mabye you could teach us new techniques?
When he plays it slow it reminds me of Rearviewmirror by Pearl Jam
Daric ;
After you hit the A with your thumb, it looks like your resting it on the D, is this true? and or good method?
Absolutely, yes and yes!
Wow the thumb resting there just helped me soo much!! Holy shit.Your the best on the internet .Way better then Scott in my opinion. Scott wastes allot of time. You get right to the goodness.
Thanks man! Appreciate that! Scott’s definitely an awesome teacher as well! Just different styles 😎
Am looking how I can inpro my bassline
What kind of bass is that?
"I'm gonna hit the d again *chuckles*"
Slap A, ham D, pop/slap G
I want to learn how to play the bass guitar
Hilo sir . And good sound. ?
I'm noticing I don't get that good hammer on slap sound he gets to make that percussive sound, it's giving me a dead space problem.
Tab

👍🏾 check the description, that was my mistake.
Daric Bennett's Bass Lessons Hi, and thanks for clarification. P.S. what do you think of this: ruclips.net/video/tOupHnEE72s/видео.html
Beautiful bass but I don't like the huge inlays
+Max Bg thanks
Daric Bennett's Bass Lessons and the lick is pretty cool. I stole it and it is in my lick box now ;)
not 32nd notes . triplets 16th notes - 8 sets of 4 triplets. (123 123 123 123) X2
O Audio muito ruim,magrinho
I think you are actually playing sextuplets, not thirty-seconds, but great job on the riff
I didnt know kevin hart could play bass!🤣😂
5 strings suck man when you only got 4
If you look closely you can see that this guy sped up the video
He didn't, moron
Great technique!!!
