- Today's build is a bit the opposite. First I mounted everything that could go on the frame, then assembled the handlebars and finally put it together.Why? The answer is simple - the headset came later. So hopefully you will still enjoy building this beautiful and large bike with me. By the way, this is one of the first frames that I painted myself....and a few hours after the premiere someone noticed that the front brake had the padss mounted in the wrong direction...too bad! I'll fix it right away.
Dnešní stavba je tak trochu naopak. Nejprve jsem namontoval všechno co šlo na rám , pak zkompletoval řidítka a nakonec to dal dohromady. Proč? Odpověď je jednoduchá - chybělo hlavové složení. Tak snad si stavbu tohoto krásného a velkého kola přesto užijete se mnou. Mimochodem je to jeden z prvních rámů, které jsem sám i nalakoval. ....a pár hodin po premiéře si někdo všiml, že přední brzda má naopak špalky...ostuda! Hned to opravím.

Love the Carbon Cosmics - had a set in my last ever racing season. Looked better than they performed but that's all that counts!!
Also surprised to see the Merckx frame having an Italian thread BB - thought it would have been an English one 🙂
I have the same opinion about Cosmic ...they are beautiful, but. When I had a Dura Ace set with a BSA BB on my first Corsa Extra, I was also quite surprised that the made in Belgium frame had an ITA. And my MX Leader ITA too... Thank you very much for your support friend.

9:26 and 13:51 the front brake pads were fitted incorrectly, nevertheless nice video.
That's a shame! Thanks for the heads up, I took the brake as it was and didn't check...brrr shame.

I have one of these I bought in 1990 in team 711 colors when I lived in the UK campanola chorus Ambrose brothers stem and wheelset the Ambrose brothers Wheels need a tire jack to get the tires on
