    I am extremely happy to see this tutorial on disassembling the headliner from the cab, and the other ones like it. Nobody else is demonstrating this, and it's needed and appreciated. Just need to find myself a replacement headliner now.

    Is that bench seat original for that year or is it from a different truck? I’m looking for one with the flip down center console like that but can’t find one.

      I believe it was original to the truck. it was a 87 bare bones 2wd 22r but the bench seat was nice.

    I see you have a 1pc front bumper. Are you selling the brackets? My truck originally has a 3pc bumper. When I bought the 1pc bumper I didn't realize the bumper holes wouldn't match up with the brackets. I'm having a hard time finding the correct brackets

    • @6thGearGarage

      I'll have to see how rusty they are. Also I think Toyota changed the design of the brackets, in 86 or 87 maybe?

    I have an aprox 8x8 section right around the driver grab handle where the headliner is sagging a bit. Could I just pull down the head liner there a bit and spray some adhesive and have it stick? Or am I better leaving it be?

    • @6thGearGarage
      @6thGearGarage  11 месяцев назад

      It's held up by the tension where it attaches to the metal rods. So I wonder if it's tearing away from the rod? It's not really glued to any surface besides the very edge around the door and rear window/windshield openings, so there's nowhere for it to adhere to except for around the edges.

      The insulation is there to help reduce road noise and maybe block some heat through the roof. You could leave it out.
