One of my best friends was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery last week, we are hoping she will be able to join us in Toronto. I will had my bag full of those single skein handspuns in the hope of matching them to a main colour yarn for a sweater yoke lol, I totally agree with them being stressful sitting in our stash. Having been stung by the bee as a young child, I grew up super afraid of them. I do love honey and have come to appreciate how important they are to survival, so I’m definitely less afraid now. Your retreat looked so fun! So nice you guys are working out the kinks to “go again”. Congrats!

I thought I had a lot of hand knit socks, but then I saw your socks. You are definitely the Queen Bee of Socks. To save your voice you could use a small amplifier and a microphone to call out winners. And keep the cowbell. "More cowbell!"

I gave my friend her DK Tits Up inspired socks and her friend said she thought tits up meant dead and she was shocked- oops- lol-thankfully my friend watched the Marvellous Miss Maisle and loved her warm fuzzy socks as she recuperates from a mastectomy.
