Did anyone run a counter for how many times Nick says "Resonix" ? Great salesmanship! All joking aside, this a great tutorial on how to properly do a pro level sound treatment task.
Excellent information! May I suggest adding a link to the Part 2 video in the description, and doing the same in the others so that we can easily follow the sequence - in either direction. For example, Google found the Part 2 and so I went to your channel to search for Part 1 in order to watch them in sequence. If not the description then maybe a pinned comment from you. Thank you again.
Thanks for this, I got the level 2 kit. I noticed you avoided covering those 6 large black screws (rivets?) in the middle with CLD but covered them with fiber mat. I'm guessing those aren't important for servicing? Hard to tell without seeing the other side of the panel.
Hey Nick, going through this process now. My door panel comes with factory sound absorbtion mat, about 4-5 mm thick. Would you recommend removing it and replacing with fiber mat, or just add more over it?
@ResoNixSoundSolutions Thanks, there are 2 pieces - one area seems like there's enough depth to accommodate both, or maybe even 2 layers of fiber mat. The other seems like it would compress one layer with the panel installed.
@@purplecello1048 fiber mat only goes on the door panel. That should be isolated from water. ResoNix Guardian and Lockout are meant for the door cavity itself and those can handle that environment.
@@ResoNixSoundSolutions have you recently upgraded/replaced the fibermat product? i only see the fibermat black which looks like tiles now and not lofted fibers
I am really confused about these door isolations. Don't they just absorb moisture and rot the door from the inside out ? Since its completely normal for water to go in the door and is supposed to exit from below
Great content! Learned a lot about car audio from you and your videos and contributions on DiyMa. I’m planning to apply the resonix level 3 kit to my 2024 Accord Hybrid Touring. If you have experience with my car, should I go with the 0.5 or the 1.0 “ option for my front doors? Thanks Nick🙏🏼
Products are top shelf! The fiber mat made a noticeable difference in lowering the cabin noise level.
Thanks!
Wealth of knowledge, thanks Nick.
Ignore the haters, some people just like picture books.

One of the car audio GOATs
@Cee-i4p better than underspending and having to layer inferior products.

@@sillyfun7844 thank you! I will update that tonight.
Your sleeve on your left arm looks Badass !
Very informative video Nick. Thanks
good stuff nick, thank you for doing this and sharing it,
I have a quick question. What's is the weight increase per door after all of those installation?

Just didn't want to go over anything that may be needed in the future.
I use a quality hair dryer to get things warm, versus hot, when I need a little heat.
Top!🎉🎉

@@Ifixtheinternet depends on how it feels and how the door is structured. That thin, id probably replace completely

are there concerns with the fibermat soaking up water being exposed to the door and rain draining down from the window?

@@purplecello1048 yes, it is slightly different than what you see here. Much better to work with than the older version

Not at all. I suggest taking a look at our product spotlight videos. They will help shed some light on why this is the case :)
