I’ve had Crohn’s disease for 15 years and I respect Sal a ton for actually knowing what he’s talking about regarding inflammatory bowel disease. The vast majority of people who don’t have IBD have no idea what they’re talking about but it was refreshing to hear someone actually sound knowledgeable on the subject.

Thanks for uploading this. I lost 40 lbs of muscle due to digestive issues last year. I searched "how to rebuild muscle after illness" and found this vid. Super helpful.

I have a history of UC, vasculitis, enteropathic arthrits, fibromyalgia, and I also have ehlers danlos syndrome, a chronic degenerative joint disease. After going through opioid withdrawal after 20 years of daily high dose oxycodone, I have landed on a 98% carnivore diet. This is the best I have functioned, felt, and looked in a decade. It’s been a very slow process. But definitely worth it. My maintenance calories are around 2900 for my level of activity now. Which is nuts considering I used to eat 1600 calories/day to maintain.
