6 or 7 mile trips, i think i woulda did a little route survey looking for low wires and bridges and ran it, lol
That would be okay if it was needed but I went back and watched the video when he went from the first lot to the other lot and there were NO bridges to be worried about. The only things I noticed that "might" be potential issues were 3 stoplights and maybe 1 railroad crossing light and I would bet that THEY ARE ALL higher than the minimum height they need. Guaranteed. I think they might be making more out of the situation than is needed. If they were going a few hundred miles or to areas where there were bridges or low stoplights, then obviously that needs to be figured out. However, in this case, UNLESS I missed something, there shouldn't be any issues.
@@eldridge201 THats what i meant by route survey, him looking up and seeing what he was driving under lol
@@warrenmichael918 don't come in here with your simple logic that makes sense. You get out of here with that bullshit.
@@eldridge201 lol
@@warrenmichael918 Justin from the channel "Just Truckin" (or "trucking" I can't remember) checks his routes by just simply using Google to do a satelite view or street view of the places he goes so he knows the best way to get in and out and try to not to put himself in a sticky situation where he is not able to turn around or maneuver his truck and trailer. It doesn't work every time as just recently he had a video where he had to back his truck and trailer up almost a mile I think but I believe that was more due to having the wrong address than anything else.
One would think that if somebody has a helper along the way that they could potentially be looking at this stuff while the other person drives so they could try to make sure that the driver wouldn't run into issues along the way. I understand if we were talking about thousands of miles of travel but in this particular situation, we are talking about 5 or 6 miles at the most. Not really a big deal.
I don't know if Justin looks at his entire route or probably just the last few miles to his destination so he can figure out the best exits to take and the best roads or streets so he doesn't wind up on a street or road that is narrow or one-way street or downtown area or something of that nature. But, you could look at this stuff even if it took you a little bit of time you could do it the night before or leading up to this pick up or drop off. Again, Google Maps is a great resource to use. Take advantage of it.
Robert if the dual have to flat spots that aren’t too bad take the outside tire off and spin it 180 degrees from the inner so the flat spots are offset.
I’m in the same boat. I come home I got the wife the kids the house the truck maintenance n then I usually go back out I dnt even get to have any fun lol but I always enjoy the home time with the family. We can only do what we can do.
If there is no low bridges I'm hauling those fans.
Right pr just get a permit 50 bucks and you're good for 2 weeks
If he used his brains, verify no low over passes, negotiate a couple hundred bucks more a day and have them commit to paying any fines. But he is so worried about what others are doing than himself.
That would be okay if it was needed but I went back and watched the video when he went from the first lot to the other lot and there were NO bridges to be worried about. Yep, no low bridges, I'm rolling those.
This guy is a complete idiot! He just doesn't want to work hard but sure wants that paycheck! He's also going to wish one day that he acted like a professional driver and kept both hands on that steering wheel when he has a steer blow out! Just hope that they or some innocent people are not killed or injured too bad when it happens!
Robert : we just lost 33% of these trailers ..
Lita: 👀👀
lol
You made your first million and bought a Feirro !
Glad to see you are still surviving the load board madness. I told my wife I feel like I'm running a one breakdown from over. The margins are much tighter now days.
Lita always looks happy on her channel 😆 keep em coming guys 👍be safe
Yeah on hers but not his😂
What about the wiring harness in the Mack?
That's silliness, we're just gonna let that 10,000$+ asset sit there and rot and blame my kids until I'm 6' deep.
How much for the mack?
I reworked the ditches in my front yard with my tractor and a box blade to make it easier to mow with my tractor and 72" finishing mower. Oh, and on my dump valve, I found it was wired to the center pin (AUX) in the pigtail which is hot when the key is on. Power comes from a fuse behind my glovebox so it will be easy to wire thru a switch.
There is bunch of utility wires crossing the road. If they are too low. They'll need a bucket truck to lift them. Its not all about low bridges
Great video very interesting hope you guys are able to get a week and a half work doing that.
Always loved fiero, I can still remember driving by the Pontiac dealer as a kid and seeing them out front on display.
Theres always a bulldozer to pull the semi out, wait till the crane gets stuck.😢😂
Good for you guys! A little local and home time always helps! But another suggestion-put that Mack up fo sale-if you have the title-clean it out good and advertise it!! Ain't making no mponey there and you can't keep two trucks up.
Great video
Just go home and play with the cats and Lita
Ought to be fixing the mac! 💯
A very interesting load.
Robert, this would be an opportunity to drop in a culvert extension to widen the driveway.
Yes, you are correct on the postal service they suck and don't deliver packages on time.
First !! Love me some South Georgia Hotshot!
Nice car and color!
Thought I’d pass this on, this weekend and Fowlerville, Michigan. They are having.hearstfest 2024 They are going to try to have the longest parade record-breaking of Hearst. And show.
I’ve been following you since you got into the biz
Whenever I do something unusual to the truck or trailer, that I must put back before leaving, I drop the driver sun visor, if I really must remember I drop passenger visor as well as opening glovebox.
good good good video keep the videos coming
another option is to remove the fans, put your kids to work! or do it in the evenings, subcontract it out. Hustle son, get that money!!
Nice hair cut!!
If you want to save your tires take the outside duel turn it 180 to the inside tire. Just a thought
That’s why they nickname them the poor man’s Corvette
Later Corvette’s had the same headlight motor issue!!
Robert you guys are smart sticking to legal restrictions on what you can and cant haul.
I definitely agree they could have saved by using a forklift instead of an expensive by the hour crane
If he was smart he would have researched what he can haul with a cheap permit.
First from Virginia!
Lita need a fake coffin for her spooky mobile.😅
The Hearse is looking Great! The Fiero is probably jealous.
They had to move and shut it down due to the noise running 24/7 and complaints from the neighbors and pwr cost.
I find it all interesting…. Keep the vids coming. Great job guys.
** FOLKS, I went back and watched the video from one lot to the other lot and from all I could see, there were NO BRIDGES and maybe 3 stop lights, 1 railroad crossing light, and only a few low hanging trees they would have to be concerned about which is more than likely over the minimum height requirements that they would need anyway so they probably don't need any permits. I just wanted to post this and hope that some people read it before they start commenting about the permits because they more than likely don't need permits in the first place. **
Thatd what I was thinking maybe the height wouldn't be an issue
We get it. No need to copy and paste multiple times this statement.
You commenters don't know what height any of the wires/lights are are (for shure)... Do a proper height survey & get a legal oversize permit then you are good to go !!
You need a over height permit, no big deal
With your interior on the car the interior and outside take Vaseline and wipe it all over it let it stay there a day or two then wipe it off it'll look brand new same with your truck
Knew exactly what you were going to say when you said 3800. That fiero will move out respectively with one of those. If not enough swap the pulley. The gtps were cool cars I always liked them. A friend had one I want to say a 96 or 98 and it would beat the exhaust intake foxbodies and sn95s around. They were quick cars for the time. I would like that over a ls swap.
Holy cow batman your only talking about 14' 1" Tell them you need permit and run em.
Can't think like that.
🐕💕🐕💕 Put some grease on that fifth wheel and take a look at the wear pattern there and take a look at your airbags. Put it on a level ground and see if your airbags are slightly out of adjustment and you can tell by looking at your fifth wheel I would get one of those shit, you put on both sides and you never have to grease your fifth wheel again. You probably know what I’m talking about right
That's trucking
What’s going to happen at the delivery site, if it starts raining?
High cube containers are 12'6 so 16" fan makes sense on 13'10. That being said, most power lines are 15', id send it and suck up that money. Just pay close attention on the 1st one
KCI IN THE HOUSE 🏠
Almost no fiero actually caught on fire…. And it was due to low oil and only on 84s due to the very small oil pan.
I"ve got a 1986 Fire Se , 2.8 6cylinder loaded, 10656 miles are on it and top end on the 3rd. day I had it was 151.2mph. It is not driven hard anymore but it is a fast car. I'am the one and only owner. If your curious and want pictures I can send them.
I don’t know about the orange cat but I can pretty much guarantee that the calico is a female my parents had a calico and a gray and white male and they took them both to the vet for shots and checkup and the vet pointed to the calico and said this one must be Elsie and my mom asked how he new that and he told her females are the only ones that get that color pattern
Mybe it would be better to rock the ditch
what's going on with the mack?
Looks like you need to grease the 5th weel!!
With the cats you have sounds like you don't have any Haitians living near you guys!!
SGMP is a very nice track…
The 3800 is a Great Motor.
How high will you be? Get an over size permit - didn't look like you were going under bridges just have to watch for over head wires.
That would be okay if it was needed but I went back and watched the video when he went from the first lot to the other lot and there were NO bridges to be worried about. Whats the plan on the Mack ?
We got some in NC too.
You will keep finding other work
$150 annual permit for height in Georgia.
Are you ever going to fix the Mack
44:05 Just goes to show how many drivers dont measure there loads no wonder they hit bridges and everything else nowadays
Ole Garfield looks like he's catnip comatose
WOBERT!!!
Those cars were just fine, but they had a recall on the dip-stick being the wrong size ,might check.🤔😉
In Texas you can get over height permits, which would solve your problems. Maybe Georgia has the same thing
Why can't Lita stay home. Give her a break. You are so simple minded you can't find your way without her
She just doesn't look happy here and unfortunately I've noticed that she doesn't seem very happy in some of videos so I hope everything is okay. Of course we are just observing things as RUclips commentors so we have no idea if maybe everything's fine but she just looked like she was just over it all in this video.
I don't think ruining a couple trailer tires helped the situation when that was a simple thing that he overlooked and should have noticed by just getting out and checking and making sure everything was okay before he took off. He should have known that the dump valve had dumped but even if he didn't remember, he should have got out and made sure his trailer height was okay before going anywhere.
So, that's going to be another $800 to $1,000 roughly to get 2 trailer tires replaced that I'm sure isn't something they wanted to take out of their budget. That's hearse repairs money.
The reality is, I went back and looked at the route from the other lot to this lot and there are no bridges to worry about and there might have been maybe three stop lights and one railroad crossing light to worry about but my guess is that they are all higher than the minimum height requirements anyway so I think he is making more out of the situation than needs to be.
@@eldridge201 She is probably tired of being called "man, dude, woman and other things" that she is not. She's also probably tired of him yelling at her her as well! She's pretty much only there with him because he's paying her way through life pretty much and getting to see a lot of the Country on him, I believe.
@@JoeParlousI think y’all need to get a life of your own
@@wildwoodandonyx lol I have a great life 🤡
Slave doesn't have a choice.
You can run up to 15'6" in GA without escorts, just permit.
roll with it...$$$$$
Hopefully you can still recap your trailer tires
Jawja
Could you used your old hot shot trailer it been lower

@@eldridge201dude you like to copy/paste don’t you?
Most low bed trailers for equipment are ~ 26 to 28 feet long !
Why wouldn't you just buy a over height permit? They don't cost that much and 1 permit is good for 2 weeks

I’m glad we get 14’ on the west coast. Nevada I can run 15’ with hay.
Where is the mega computer that stores the bitcoins.
Headlights were stuck up. I went to school with girls that were stuck up. Seeing them 40 years later at the reunion they looked a bit used up…
I was wondering if maybe those fan shrowds on top could just be removed? Im sure the fan itself is recessed inside the box. Glad your making some easy money for the moment tho. Stay safe out there

Did you see what LS George on Cletus did in his Firero
Hello Lita and Robert. Bit Coin mining? I always thought that Bit Coin was a scam. I had folks to call me trying to get my money, I said no. As it turns out, I read where some guy walked away with the money. I don't know the required height for power/cable lines across the road, but they made it to Texas? This could have been around $5 per mile or so, which would have been sweet being home each day. Have good days!
Get a permit. It's not a big deal
Crypto Mining / Data Mining etc. Would need some serious HVAC units to cool the servers.
I know why he has all that stuff built up on his dash
I was just curious has your transmission acted up lately and if not do you think cleaning your battery terminals helped?
If it was that important, why not remove the fans, put them inside the empty trailers and then reinstall them?
I would have negotiated a couple more hundred bucks get a permit and haul the damn things
Bit coin farm! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Are you guys still moving to utah?
Fiero is cool, at least it’s not a fox Mustang.
Robert did you think about putting in a 2.0 ecotec turbo out of a Saturn Redline, Solstice GXP, or HRR SS and cobalt ss 2008 + 260 HP stock and chipped 300 plus. That is what I have had for an idea for one of those. Can't find 1 in good enough condition here. going to do 5.3 LS into a Opel Cadet GT.
Wassup
good for you home time.... Get some grinding wheels
Might want to bleach the hurse a little inside

Why don’t you guys just pull a permit and ask for an extra $100 on that daily rate ?
