Thank you, have just recently started this practice routine with my tennis buddy where we try to play in zone 4 but diagonally as well, the longest balls to play I think. At first we were amazed at how hard (and/or high) we had to hit to even get the ball in 4. I also realized that more often then not I played in 2/3 ish area. You presenting this is very insightful!
Very informative video as usual, but how can you get depth when a server continually hits strong serves and all you can do is to get the ball back in play (often short)?
You should have had a second segment where the players adjust their height over the net to see if it make a difference...kind of a before/after experiment.

That is the hardest shot for me to hit consistently. It is a good drill to use with a hitting partner.
