I have been mindlessly serving without a structure and mindful targeting. Thanks for this video. It helps me focus to really improve my practice sessions

That alternating 1st-2nd serve tip during practice is such a good idea

Your grip lesson was so sound and useful I decided to check out your other videos. I'm very glad I did you have a way of explaining complicated things into easy steps. Much appreciated.

I like going down 3 serving from deuce side, helps with pronation. As does going 6 serving from ad side. Thanks for this drill definitely going to try it.

    Hello Jorge,
Great program. Would you please record or comment on the progression training how to advance a typical 3.0/3.5 serve that is consistent and accurate to a 4.0/4.5 serve that has more power and better form but without losing accuracy and consistency. When I try to add take back, trophy pose, knee bent ... the accuracy and consistency go away. I feel I need a more gradual, step-by-step isolation progression.

Great video! But how do you aim with the serve? What makes the ball go down the tee or wide? Rotating the upper body more/or less? Pronating more/less?

The combination of these things is a person thing, but, ultimately, the hand is what is most directly connected to the angle of the racquet head. Therefore, you practice slowly, connecting your hand as it is pronated (by the shoulder/forearm) to the contact point. You SLOWLY increase the speed in practice over the course of MONTHS, to improve your aim.
