That is a loud rattle! I have a 240i and that developed the rattle after about 4 months. I took mine back to the dealer and they found it to be the valve system was working loose. They replaced it under warranty and did say a few had been brought back already with the problem. They did in fact put a performance exhaust on mine first time but did mount the tips back on it slightly wonky like yours! If you haven’t already get it back to your dealer and get an MP box put on, it solves the problem and sounds better. Good luck
This exhaust sound is common with these M sport cars, but its not that big a fix as it may sound. There is a spring for exhaust flaps and if that gets loos exhaust starts to rattle. Spring is not expensive and there are diy videos out there to fix it yourself
Why only a fifteen minute test drive? In the last 3 years I’ve bought an M135i and an X1 (both new) and asked for - and was given - a 24hr test of each. No way I’m going to spend over £30k after only a 15 minute drive - and that’s what I tell the dealers.
Gareth Lloyd that's great when it's possible. If there's no taxed demo's available then you can't take it by yourself and you're limited to a standard test drive
I have the M135i LCI. Absolutely love it. Yet to take it on a twisty road though. Where I'm currently living I do a bit of commuting at low speeds but on weekends I go home and sit on the highway for approx 300km with absolutely no fuss. It's a weapon when it comes to overtaking and the cabin is still pretty quiet at higher speeds. Comparing to my E93 320d, obviously up on power, but not as relaxing or comfortable to drive as the 3 series was.
Nice! I would say get out in some twisty roads if you have the chance, its so much fun! But even in day to day, its got easily enough power for overtaking in any gear and as you say is pretty quiet when cruising. Like you I have previously had a e92 335i and that was even better!
I'd take it out for sure if I weren't currently living in rural Australia :D Once I get back to the east coast (Sydney, Brisbane) there are an abundance of beautiful mountain/coastal roads!
I've bought this car a month ago and will tell you right now the standard Michelin tyres you get with this car do not offer much grip at all on even a slightly slick surface . It's actually scary driving this thing in the rain above 80mph as I just have no confidence in the tyres . Hopefully when the summer comes I'll notice a big difference.
Nice insight. Fellow M140i owner here. Mine developed the exhaust rattle about a month ago (it's now 5 months old) and, as yet, I've not managed to catch it on video but it'll be going to BMW to get sorted when I do; seems intermittent at the moment. You didn't really elaborate on the suspension - the single biggest issue for me is the damping on the passive setup. There's so much vertical movement which makes it frustrating to drive quickly. Really regret not going for adaptive. And yes, the sound from the HK system is average at best. Another issue which I'd be surprised if you haven't experienced yet - believe it affects all/most 3 doors - is the door rubber/plastic rubbing on the door shuts. The lacquer gets worn and, if not addressed, it can wear through the clearcoat and start rubbing the paint. It's just as well the engine and gearbox are as good as they are because I've contemplated moving it on.
Hey, thanks! Yes ours started as intermittent but is almost every startup now. I've got a back catalog of video evidence haha! Sorry I did elaborate but I had to cut it as I went on and on and the video would have been about an hour long! Basically same problem as you, the damping is terrible on the passive. The car gets very unsettled over bumpy roads when trying to push on, which in turn makes it difficult. Like you I also regret not going for adaptive. Yep ours is doing that but being honest I knew that going in to it as its a common problem on the 3dr 1 series and the 2 series. Shouldn't be the case and I think at some point BMW will have to address that through warranty if my partner has her way! As you say its all about the engine, gearbox and rwd! And honest the car shifts, maxed her on the autobahn last week. Got to 160 on the speedo with no issues. That was with a FULL car and two people. Very impressive.
Picked my new m240i Auto up last week and loving it so far, done 600 miles and trying my best to keep it below 4k during break in but keep creeping over lol. Regarding the handling, think the 2 is slightly different to the 1 but the one thing I will doing is upgrading to Birds Auto B2 suspension, I've driven a car with this and it is unbelievably good. Forget adaptive, the Birds setup is light years in front. Other than that I'll be adding a few MP goodies!! Favourite thing about the car...that's easy....B58. Great video, enjoyed watching :-)
Andy Race cheers, yeah I drove the 235 and 240 and it does handle slightly differently. Although between the two 40s there was THAT much in it. Yeah there’s quite a few different aftermarket options but don’t want to damage warranty so will look at that down the line
ST Supercars All Birds Auto upgrades do not void the warranty. Take a look at their website, there is so much development work goes into their chassis upgrades, hence they ain't cheap. They use bespoke Bilstein dampers valved to their own specifications to suit the car, some of their demonstrators are featured in top magazines such as Autocar and they get so much praise. I'm on 700 miles on mine so I'm still taking it steady, the handling feels great on a smooth road but a bit bouncy and crashy on good old British roads and it just knocks my confidence a bit to push the car, I have the passive set up on mine as I had already planned in the birds before I bought it so pointless getting adaptive. I also always said I'd never get a plug and play tuning box and would always go for a proper custom rolling road remap........but the JB4 certainly does look tempting :-D...think I best run it in first lol
Having the same age M140i as yourself I completely agree with you in the terms around the test drive and spec, I wish I had known it didn't have folding mirrors as standard, the one I test drive did and sales man didn't explain that it wasn't a standard feature, which I would have gone for had I known. and wish I'd specd a heated steering wheel and lane assist too. I went for some other options and an MP exhaust as well as adaptive dampers and stuff. It all depends on what your long term plans for the car is though, as the highest and lowest spec cars make no difference between them when it comes to trade in value.
Yeah they aren't really great with test drives in my experience. You are right though it depends what you're going to do at the end and what your budget is. The only option I regret not picking is the adaptive dampers as its just so crashy.
Nice review. I have a M240i for 6 weeks and asked the dealer to fit the LSD at delivery. It's greatly recommended for driving in the wet! I spec'd my car with adaptive dampers but they are have a twitchy ride across bumpy roads. So I have booked in to have the KW adaptive damper/coilovers fitted which should fix the problem. Just waiting for exhaust rattle to appear and then I will get the dealer to fit the MPE. Oh, and my sister lives in Little Neston - I will tell her to watch out for the M-lite burning up the roads ;-)
Hi. Love you videos. I'm collecting my hew Shadow Edition M140i in Sunset Orange on Monday. I do hope they have cured the exhaust rattle. I'm, I've most people, I would hate that. I have opted for many extras, including the adaptive suspension. It is a beautiful car. Look forward to your next update. Keep up the good work.
Hey! Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. Sounds like a very nice car you are picking up on Monday. I am hoping that our exhaust rattle will be fixed this week when it is in with BMW. Enjoy your car when it comes!
In the second LCI July 2017, the instrument cluster is much better. I went for the Seaside Blue on a 120d I still haven't seen another one in that colour or the Sunset Orange yet.
picking mine up in 10 days from today. brand new. well excited. hate the wheels though. have an audi a5 s-line coupe which is so so much sexier, but literally no engine. style over substance. hope i've made the right call to switch it up.
A5 is a very good looking car tbf. Being honest the 1 series generally doesn't blow me away for look. I much prefer the looks of an S3 for example. But that doesn't have an amazing 6cyl engine or rwd. Both of those in my opinion make it easier to look pasts its looks haha! You won't be disappointed
TJB147 I would say that the passive sits in between the comfort and the sport of the adaptive setup. If you push it in comfort it feels sloppy but at the end of the day it's meant for cruising. It absorbs a lot of the bumps on our uk roads. In Sport I feel it improves the handling too just because you can feel more of what the car is doing through the corners. Would recommend it 100% and definitely spec it on my next car. One other option you should seriously consider if you get one is speed limit display very useful and wish I had it on our new one. Manual car everyday of the week
Olé Minns thanks bud! I've heard that quite a few times and defo regret not selecting it as an option. I think once out of warranty I may look at coilovers and rear diff
TJB147 it makes a difference in all modes as it constantly reads and adapts to the road surface - that's what I've been told anyway. I regret not getting adaptive. The passive is stiff but very un-nerving on the limit and over bumpy roads, which in the U.K. Is every road we have
If you ask BMW they will allow you to test drive a car for pretty much as long as you want, I had a test drive 2 series from Friday afternoon to a Monday morning.
Nice video. I have a M140i since June. Great car. Sometimes with the cold start I hear a exhaust rattle to. But only for a short time and not so loud. But it is annoying. J. from Holland
Driving that car at 9/10th's is when it comes into its own, i suppose your an everyday driver though ? so i understand where your coming from..but as a proffesional driver..this car is brilliant
Nice video! I did wonder if you were going to get back in the M140i and do an update video. Just picked up my new M140i at the weekend. Having had a m135i for over 3 years which had only 2 options over standard (auto box and adaptive) i knew the adaptive suspension was a must for the M140i as it makes the car so comfortable on UK roads and then stiffer at the switch of a button (for £500 its a bargain). Got the sunroof and pro media added too so all good. Went for mineral grey with the black grill this time which I think you have mentioned before in a prev vid about maybe adding to yours. If you ever do a "meet up" let us know! Please keep us updated on the exhaust problem as i was so tempted to add the M performance exhaust. All the best and safe driving! :-)
KB Docherty cheers man! It sounds like you've specced your 140 very well. Funnily enough I'm roadtripping in it round Europe at the minute and I saw a 140 with the black kidney grills. Defo tempted to go with them after seeing it in the flesh. Will 100% let you know about a meet!
Great video, very helpful, I currently own a ST but have been considering going to the golf R but I never consider the M140i until this video. So when time permits I’ll get a test drive. 🙂
Badger God the deals they do on this car forget the Golf R in my opinion. I’ve been in it for a year and it is fantastic. If you’ve never drive RWD before it’s life changing and so much fun. The m140i is so much fun and I’d recommend it to anyone in this configuration. It’s bullshit in the wet but who cares, who is driving like a nutter when it’s pouring?
Thanks for this review. It is hard to hear the in-cabin exhaust, would be great if you could kill the music during the POV sections so we get as much exhaust sound as possible.
Fluid Ice thanks, I've actually done a POV video before that's why I didn't quieten the music fully. Check out the full POV video here - ruclips.net/video/pU_cHVhJbC4/видео.html
It would be good to know how this car handles the wet conditions if you can do a review with that please, just toying with this or a golf r, Audi s3 all down to the AWD systems!...
Quy Nguyen which is boring af I want to go around a corner and know that I have the experience to not be inside that tree around the corner not know that the car will do it for me that’s just boring
Great video. I have the 116i m sport and that sounds like a diesel on startup. Also had problems fixed under warranty. Great cars but let down by build quality imo
Yeah I tried a 118i when we were shopping around and the 3cyl engine just wasn't for me in such a heavy car. Completely agree on the build quality, its the biggest let down of the car I think
Stewart Leadley cheers man! We are currently running 32 psi fronts and 35 psi rear. Came running a bit higher from new so we've dropped it a touch and it's improved the ride a little
I was running the same, as it says to on the label on the drivers door. I have now dropped them down by 1psi as i was finding the ride quite hard, I'm now running 34 at the rear and 31 at the front, it has made a big difference!
Great breakdown and really good video. but what qualifies your opinion. Your handling of the car does not look great and the seating position looks poor too. Sorry to be negative maybe it's and average person's opinion also I do appreciate the video and it was very informative.
The exhaust on my M135i was rattling, too, and it came back after a few weeks after visiting BMW ... were they able to solve it on your car in the meantime? Nice video, btw :)
If you hate rattles, you should avoid like the plague. My 50k M135i suffers with constant turbo wastegate rattle and knocking adaptive. A real low point for such a great car.
I really want to mod my exhaust (straight pipe it) but the rattle is really putting me off. I'm about 4 months and 3k miles in and so far there's no rattle but i'd hate to spend money on an exhaust mod and then it develops the issue and BMW then probably won't fix it under warranty!
Great vid, nice to see you back on camera in the M140i, you've driven some nice cars this summer man! Any news on the MPE replacement for the exhaust rattle? Would be interested to know which dealer you took it to. I took mine in to dealer last week and they acknowledged the problem but won't do anything about it pending outcome of BMW P.U.M.A case. Had mine since early July and it rattles 1 in every 8-10 or so startups, sounds worse when cold. Love driving the car though, defo puts a smile on my face every time!
Cheers man! I appreciate the feedback. The car is going in this week now we are back from touring Europe. I'll let you know what happens with it, in principle they have agreed to put a valveless system on it (but I'm not holding my breath). Taken it in to Warrington for the work so far. Yeah to be honest the rattle is annoying but as you say driving the car makes me smile. It's my other half who cannot stand the rattle so has pushed BMW to fix it.
Really wish they sold these in america. I think the hatches like those are sweet. Especially since they have the inline 6. I wouldnt want one with a 4 cyl.
If you're looking for a slightly louder exhaust under throttle and more pops have a look at PCW exhausts. He's a professional welder in Milton Keynes who discreetly modifies the back box to allow more airflow and noise. Check him out on Facebook or RUclips. I'm getting my M140i done in November. He has worked on m140's m4's m3's m5's Porsche etc etc
Fraser Smith I've got a library of clips haha! To be honest it winds up my other half more than it does me. But heard today we should be getting it replaced with an MPE so fingers crossed
First time I heard it I was worried incase it did it all the time, but it doesn't, so I haven't gone to BMW. What annoys me is I keep hearing gearbox whine, on and off, not sure if its normal or not.
ST Supercars mine rattles which is annoying I am going to take mine back to BMW only problem is having a manual you are not allowed the M Performance Exhaust
Not a bad position to be in! I think it depends what you find fun, if you want outright point to point pace in any weather with a good soundtrack then the RS3 is the one. If you want something that you'll have to think about throttle application, can really play around with the rear and a silky smooth amazing sounding 6 cylinder engine then the M140i is the one. I personally prefer the drive of a rwd, I find it much more fun, although it won't be as quick point to point as a 4wd, but to me 4wd is just too easy and I cannot stand understeer. Although I've not gotten behind the wheel of a facelift RS3....yet.
+ST Supercars. Thank you very much indeed . I'm from Brazil. The BMW 140 cuts around $87,500. Dolars here and the new rs3 will arrive in November , and the price will be much more expensive . Your answer helped me a lot! Thank you.
I've had the 140i for a couple of weeks, it's a GREAT car. BUT , kind of jumpy in high speeds. Anyone else feeling that 120mph becomes very "jumpy" ? Ì'm running adaptive.
Just bought an M140i shadow edition last Thursday. Looking back how did it perform in the snow? My 118i sport definitely did not agree with the winter power. Also have you upgraded to the M performance exhaust? Thinking of doing the same! Thanks
15 minute test drive? Any dealer who thinks that's reasonable for a car of that price, needs their head examining! Tell them you want a car for several hours or a whole day, and if they decline, tell them it's a deal breaker. They'll soon change their tune (if they have any sense).
Digagree with the Professional Nav and the obsession everyone has about it, especially now that the Basic has been upgraded. Not worth the extra money, as the functionality has also been widened (Connected drive BS etc.). The only thing I miss, is the touchpad on the Idrive for free navigation within the map. But as said, not worth the extra money, would rather get something from the technical options.
the latest one doesn't have the bezels which are sticking out, rather a big surface, similar to the Pro, but just a smaller screen area. The menu has also been revamped, showing the main 5-6 topics in a similar way the Pro does, so no longer a list
Lowering the tyre pressures ? Not to be advised surely ?? Increased tyre wear excess heat build up potentially leading to tyre failure. = Crash, injury !!
Thats one of the stupidest responses Ive heard in a while. Lowering tyre pressures may cause excess heat build up but not drastically and certainly not enough to cause a tyre failure unless reducing pressures by 10psi or so. In fact, lowering tyre pressure is more likely to increase grip levels than cause a tyre blowout
Haha you gave the answer I was going to type out... I've actually lowered ours ever so slightly below the manufacturers recommended for that very reason of increased grip and subsequently the outside of the tyre is now not wearing anywhere near like it was and I have better grip and a nicer ride. Win, win in my eyes!
It was pretty clear in the video that he lowered them "slightly", considering the m140i comes with Y rated tyres (rated for 186MPH) but is limited to 155 I very much doubt a "slightly" lower pressure is going to cause tyre failure due to excess heat build up at ~70mph. Considering you've made a statement without backing it up with evidence but instead fell back to "I've got 18 years experience of X" it's pretty clear you don't have any experience in what you say you have.
1christophe1 I don’t find the support bad really and just spent 3.5k in it driving across Europe. Although my partner really suffers but as you say overall it’s a good car
Marcel B. Had a manual m140 for 6 months now and my long term average is 30 mpg as well. Some longer trips but mostly 1 hour trips. However no problem to go down to 20 when having real fun 😊
Yeah my old 335i was like that, no matter how I drove it couldn't get above 24. This new B58 engine is genuinely impressive. We've just got back from a 3.5k mile trip round Europe which included multiple top speed runs on the autobahn and some very spirited driving on the passes, as well as a mix of boring motorway driving and town work and it actually averaged 35mpg! Genuinely couldn't believe it.
Very interesting and in particular, your comments about the exhaust. I would be intrigued to hear your take on the issue with my 140 and the unhelpful response I received from BMW. Please comment on my thread because the more people that do, perhaps we can get BMW to raise their game. I wonder if your dealer will backtrack when you take it in next time with the same problem??? Do keep us posted on that one!!!!!!ruclips.net/video/TGSdF9xOwKE/видео.html
figolovechild I'm all for the manual as I've said quite a few times and even did a video with a manual 140. But I also appreciate how good these auto boxes are now. Depends what you're using your car for and what you want out of it

Pretty sure you have to be over 25 to be eligible for this.
I'd take it out for sure if I weren't currently living in rural Australia :D
Once I get back to the east coast (Sydney, Brisbane) there are an abundance of beautiful mountain/coastal roads!
Michelin PS4 solved this problem massively for me
If you want to hear the exhaust more, try putting the seats down in the back as they act as sound damping. It works a treat!
Will have to give this a try!
Very impressive.
chiefchia did you have the rattle on m-performance exhaust?
Great Video, keep em coming on Mods etc👍
Decent colour, I see so many BMW's, especially the 1 Series in base solid white because it doesn't cost more as do the metallic colours.
I was dreading to watch this video haha but im happy the results are all possative. As im waiting for my M140i shadow edition cant wait now cheers!
Do you have any issues with engine/gearbox whine?
New User no none at all
Same here, no issues for me with a whine
New to your channel mate and I think I’m leaning towards the bmw now over the golf R so thanks for that
Nice review.
Oh, and my sister lives in Little Neston - I will tell her to watch out for the M-lite burning up the roads ;-)
topper45 you must be made of money
Good Review Pal. Got the adaptive suspension on ours and it makes so much difference on the limit
Olé Minns Does the adaptive suspension make a difference in all modes or just Sport?
Olé Minns basically you've just summed up why I would be speccing it next time
TJB147 it makes a difference in all modes as it constantly reads and adapts to the road surface - that's what I've been told anyway.
Haha
Definitely worth a test drive!
Good video, why is the check engine light on ?
Thanks for this review. It is hard to hear the in-cabin exhaust, would be great if you could kill the music during the POV sections so we get as much exhaust sound as possible.
Fluid Ice thanks, I've actually done a POV video before that's why I didn't quieten the music fully. Check out the full POV video here - ruclips.net/video/pU_cHVhJbC4/видео.html
great video mate
I went from folding side mirrors button car to Manuel folding car and it does my nut in lol maybe £1000 to retro fit on Audi b7
It would be good to know how this car handles the wet conditions if you can do a review with that please, just toying with this or a golf r, Audi s3 all down to the AWD systems!...
Josh Arkle will do mate!
ST Supercars keep me posted bro 🤙🤙
what did you get, Josh?
nice video carry on the good work
ferretman jon cheers man
God knows how he’s getting this mpg is I thought only possible on long journeys in eco
In rs3 you can send 50% to 100% of the power to the rear too so that’s probally one thing m1 is lacking
Quy Nguyen which is boring af I want to go around a corner and know that I have the experience to not be inside that tree around the corner not know that the car will do it for me that’s just boring
Great review mate.
Really cool video man, thumbs up :))
Another great vid. Interested to know what tyre pressure you are running?
Stewart Leadley cheers man! We are currently running 32 psi fronts and 35 psi rear. Came running a bit higher from new so we've dropped it a touch and it's improved the ride a little
I was running the same, as it says to on the label on the drivers door. I have now dropped them down by 1psi as i was finding the ride quite hard, I'm now running 34 at the rear and 31 at the front, it has made a big difference!
Will defo be having a play with them I think to find the optimum. Your set up sounds good!
A real low point for such a great car.
nice video, but nothing beats manual trans in a drivers car like this!
Jan Van Houtte cheers! I actually agree, the auto is great but manual is more fun. Shame the actual manual box really isn’t the best
Unplug the valve flap hose, issue resolved? Or insert a ball bearing into the hose to keep the flap open all the time.
I really want to mod my exhaust (straight pipe it) but the rattle is really putting me off. I'm about 4 months and 3k miles in and so far there's no rattle but i'd hate to spend money on an exhaust mod and then it develops the issue and BMW then probably won't fix it under warranty!
Great video mate, how did the car fair over winter? did you drive on any ice or snow conditions?
Nice review take care on those slippy Willaston roads 🤪
Good evening. Nice video! What consumption do you do in the city and on the open road? Best Regards.
great work!
Adam Tudor no rattles in my car
Love the scouse accent nearly has good has ours great video
Really wish they sold these in america. I think the hatches like those are sweet. Especially since they have the inline 6. I wouldnt want one with a 4 cyl.
Thank you good work!
Great review, I would love to buy an m135i but frankly I just can't afford it.
15october91 thanks! They are cracking little cars. Beg, steak and borrow to get one haha
JamesM140i which will also void any warranty
I've experienced the rattle a handful of times. Not been able to catch it on video yet though!
Fraser Smith - I also have a slight whine on mine which i'm monitoring. Not as bad is this guys though... ruclips.net/channel/UCtHCT7v1xYnKu7Xrei36LMA
Nice one mate.
lukadabuca thanks mate!
How many miles average would you get in a tank on your mpg from full to empty? How much does a full tank of fuel cost?
It costs around £55-60 to fill with 99ron fuel and can get anywhere between 250-320 miles for that!
I really want one but it’s 1800 insurance for me 😂😂😂 I’m 27 as well which is crazy. I can afford it but not paying nearly 2k insurance lol.
Currently have a f20 120d and looking for an m140i but just wondering how many miles you get to a full tank?
Do you think the BMW 140i is more fun than Audi rs3? I'm in a doubt which buy!
Thank you.
skip to 3:26 for the facts
I've had the 140i for a couple of weeks, it's a GREAT car. BUT , kind of jumpy in high speeds. Anyone else feeling that 120mph becomes very "jumpy" ? Ì'm running adaptive.
jumpy?
Mate so nervous to put me name down for one of these, I need a nudge, somebody help me!!
Luke Boyd (LLG) did you?🚙
Just bought an M140i shadow edition last Thursday.
They'll soon change their tune (if they have any sense).
zzpza yeah tried that and they didn’t. To be honest I find Audi and BMW really poor for test drives. Porsche on the other hand are brilliant
Nice, however you have to lower it, just do it, you will notice to improvement Believe me
Spotted a Move Residential sign haha - you from the wirral?
Digagree with the Professional Nav and the obsession everyone has about it, especially now that the Basic has been upgraded. Not worth the extra money, as the functionality has also been widened (Connected drive BS etc.). The only thing I miss, is the touchpad on the Idrive for free navigation within the map. But as said, not worth the extra money, would rather get something from the technical options.
yeh but the bezels are shite
Tautulis7 horses for courses mate. Having had a couple of cars without pro media I wouldn't go back personally but each to their own
the latest one doesn't have the bezels which are sticking out, rather a big surface, similar to the Pro, but just a smaller screen area. The menu has also been revamped, showing the main 5-6 topics in a similar way the Pro does, so no longer a list
Also owned some with Pro, but wasn't impressed that much, to be spending more.
I've got a m240i I'm 6 months in and I've noticed the same exhaust rattle just wondering did you end up with a m performance exhaust in the end ?
p00123456789 got the exhaust sorted. Video will be coming this week
The first rule is de chrome your grill
Lowering the tyre pressures ? Not to be advised surely ?? Increased tyre wear excess heat build up potentially leading to tyre failure. = Crash, injury !!
Interesting response. I lowered the pressures to the manufactures recommended values as they came over inflated from factory
Rayaan Shaikh
18 years of police crash investigation/reconstruction !! Feel free to prove me wrong !!!
How much do you pay per month ?
Keep your hands on the wheel
The seating is rubbish really bad support is like sitting in a garden chair but that's something all BMW lack overall it's a great car cheers
1christophe1 I don’t find the support bad really and just spent 3.5k in it driving across Europe. Although my partner really suffers but as you say overall it’s a good car
The seats are completely adjustable and I find them incredibly comfortable.
@@mc82 Me too, having had M Sport seats in my last 3 cars, and now the M140i seats, I would say they are the best seats I have sat in.
Please change the tinny music
Driving at your limit in residential areas. Nice one :-/
7:03 - girlfriend's car!!
M1 or rs3?
Quy Nguyen BMW
Why is engine warning light on?
Sean G it’s not it’s sport+ so traction light
ST Supercars thanks .. I just realized it was on in the clip where you showed the fuel economy.. engine was off..
ST Supercars it's 6.28 mins in.. did not realize it was a still as you were driving
Sean G oh haha! Yeah it’s just overlayed
30 mpg?? What are you doing to achieve that? under no circumstances I get better mpg than 24 with my M135i...
I own a E39 5 Series, for 12 years, will never sell!!
Good video, easily the worst moustache in the history of RUclips.
7.20 did you go to change gear?
No I changed gear using the stick instead of paddles, I tend to alternate between the two
Less chatter and more jabber
Very interesting and in particular, your comments about the exhaust. I would be intrigued to hear your take on the issue with my 140 and the unhelpful response I received from BMW. Please comment on my thread because the more people that do, perhaps we can get BMW to raise their game. I wonder if your dealer will backtrack when you take it in next time with the same problem??? Do keep us posted on that one!!!!!!ruclips.net/video/TGSdF9xOwKE/видео.html
All the kids of today won't be able to drive a manual. Can't believe how excited people get over an automatic. Where's the excitement???
You clearly don't know what you are talking about
figolovechild I'm all for the manual as I've said quite a few times and even did a video with a manual 140. But I also appreciate how good these auto boxes are now. Depends what you're using your car for and what you want out of it
The only problem with it is how fugly it is.
It's a lovely car and all but it just seems abit to easy to drive..maybe because all autos are easy to drive..
David Lock yeah I only like driving cars on public roads that are challenging and hard to keep in a straight line.
Yeh in this case a nice e46 m3 manual would be fun..
Hi ! Since end of July this year I am a proud owner of a new M140i xDrive (with the new dashboard, M Sport Shadow pack and touchscreen version for the iDrive system). No more than 3 weeks after the delivery I noticed the same rattle from the standard exhaust ( my video here: ruclips.net/video/MHIvnlhBe8c/видео.html ). Is this issue fixed by your dealer now ? Thx !
M140ixDriver yes it has been sorted and update video will be coming within the next week!
A45 AMG facelift much better car with stage 1 420 BHP that car is overrated
Terrible driving. Put me off listening to what your saying 👎🏻
Can't take nearly 20 minutes to do a review of a car that's been reviewed over a year ago ! Lost interest after 6 minutes
