That was educative. So much better to hear from someone who has actual knowledge in the field. YT at its best.
It only hit me the other night, while frantically sniffing various scents from my collection:the next step is learn and make! Dead excited

Absolutely fabulous. Thank you very much for this lovely experience.
Just came back to re-watch this. Sarah is an absolute gem, and I hope you get to do more of these ❤
This was incredibly informative. You deserve a larger audience.
Fascinating video, guys. Big thanks to all three of you. Could've listened to Sarah for many more hours.
We talked for ages!
Sarah really stole the show. I have seen some interviews with perfumers and most of them were boring, even perfumers I really love. But this interview was both informative and entertaining, Sarah has a lot of charisma and personality , she should consider starting a RUclips channel. I think I should sample some of her fragrances
Yes, you should!
We already have a RUclips channel, rather beglected, but I hope to do more soon.
*neglected*

Congratulations guys , what a honour to visit Sarah and to have the opportunity to smell some of her unique materials and creations! Good interview! Such a passionate person she is and so much knowledge. Looking forward a resume from you (after sometime) to hear what did you guys find more interesting and what would you like to discuss deeper. Thank you for sharing 😘
Best perfumer interview/class, ever!
Natural ingredients. The first comment was spot on, they use this in food as well. castorium is a natural ingredient that can taste, or smell like caramel, or vanilla when used in various amounts. however, this ingredient comes from the scent gland of a male beaver.
This is so comprehensive! Thank you for this! This sparked my interest in perfumery! ❤️
Wishing I could share this video, so much info, so much good quality info. Thanks guys for taking the time to put this together. Hugs from USA .

What a lesson in fragrances. I come away with a whole new perspective and feeling completely inadequate. It would really be a service to anyone interested in blending fragrances to hear this. Thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking the time to put this one together. It was great that Sarah was able to debunk a lot of the myths of perfumery. An absolute treat!
Cheers Chris.
I'm just getting into exploring perfumes and this has been a complete eye opener. Truly, who'd be a perfumer, though very, very glad people do want to be one.
This was THE most informative and fascinating video. Wow. Sarah is so knowledgeable. Cursed IFRA and finally clarified the ambiguity of synthetics and naturals. I love rose, but masculine rose scents my forever quest.
This video has popped up for me at the right time. I. An absolutely appreciate this conversation/workshop today more than I could 2 months ago. Totally getting elevated.
Glad you're enjoying it!
A big YES to this! Thank you!
This is the most informative video that I have seen on perfumery. Fantastic idea for a video. She is incredibly knowledgeable.
Steve Bollinger yes, she really is, and thank you!

Thanks!
Fascinating! 😍😍 Thank you ever so! 💭💭
Really enlightening video! So dope to sit and glean so much history and literacy behind the compositional aspects of perfume creation.
Simply fascinating. So insightful and relaxing.
Omg I wish I was there to smell those scents too ❤❤❤❤ thanks for the video ! Cheers !
Wonderful and so informative, I would love for Sarah to dive deeper in more videos. As a small perfumer this type of information is so helpful, thank you all!!
Thanks for watching! I know Sarah is always keen to educate, so I’m sure she’d be helpful if you contacted her
THANK YOU for letting us geek out! PHENOMENAL video. She seems like such a sweet person. I'd love to see her on again, if she can.
Yes, hopefully we will!
Great video! I learned a HUGE amount watching this. Thanks!!!
We learnt a huge amount talking to Sarah!
Fantastic video with excellent perfume's content! please do another one
Fascinating! More like this! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This video was BEYOND fascinating. When I was growing up in southern Virginia we had an old mimosa tree in the front yard. Individually the flowers smelled so good, kinda like watermelon and gardenia mixed. But when the whole tree was blooming and you smelled the "overall" effect it smelled *just* like hot dogs. So know what you mean about the whole rose thing. Whenever I smell perfumes that claim to have "mimosa" I always think it smells nothing like actual mimosa.
Very informative and very enjoyable. Many thanks!
Fantastic, guys! Excellent video and content.
Thanks!
Very educational. Thank you 😊
Wow, this was absolutely amazing! What a great interview! I wouldn't mind a feature length tbh ;)
Also, I remember I read somewhere that yellow amber doesn't have a scent and the amber accord was just something made up. I'm from Poland and every polish grandma has an amber necklace. I need to visit mine and heat up the ambers and check if I can smell anything ;)
This is a great video. Would love to watch more like this.
So interesting . Thanks for doing this lads .
Watched and thoroughly enjoyed on a sleepless night 😊
Sarah is amazing. Thank you so much for this content!
Yes, she is! Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome vid. Very charismatic and knowledgeable lady.
She certainly is
Please do more videos with this amazing lady. Learned so much!
Juhi Mittal we’ve now done quite a few with her! She is making a fragrance for her, and explained every step of the process!
It’s funny how Joe jokingly said “that’s my favorite” about methyl ionone gamma.. cuz that’s is my fave ionone, well most of the time. I feel like you can push it in different directions. But you can with any ionone really huh. I love this stuff!
I love both your channels soo much.
Absolutely. I’ve started dabbling with materials now, and I think I would put methyl ionone gamma Coeur or Iralia in pretty much any Chypre/floral/woodsy
Just loved this ..how fascinating
Love this upload
Great video! You should ask what causes batch variations, for example in Aventus.
what an amazing and informative hour video
Amazing video…very informative 😊
Thank you so much for this content...
Thanks for the huge knowledge drop!!!!!
LEC LEC ha, thanks!
Thank you for this
Very informative. Thanks.
Incredible video-Thank you!!
Thanks!
I think this might be one of the best episodes you guys have done!! Clear, concise and with humour, I didn’t want it to end. 4612 Tuesday is now on my list to check out. Thank you all.
Too many information and knowledge sharing. Thumb up!
Thanks!
This is a fantastic video that every fragrance enthusiast should watch. Thank you for making this happen, and thank you to Sarah for her insight.
And, yes, Paul Smith Rose *is* that good.
Thanks. I had loads of fun with the wafts.
This video is exquisite! ❤
Fantastic and informative
AMAZING video, thank you for that!! I thought using oakmoss in perfumerie had become illegal, and turns out I was wrong! Fascinating to learn all about these "taboo" ingredients!!
Husband just said Sarah is the first perfume expert who he understands .
