Wish I had a shop like that near me. A large "corporate" operation is my only option and I deal with them on a case by case basis as they're just over a hour drive away. The only tool I don't have in my arsenal is a press. Anything else can be done in my loft. Gonna build my next sight tape using AA. As always, great content. Cheers
Great video 👍🏽 yeah Phil and the gang are top notch 👍🏽👍🏽.. a 16 min drive from home and a 5 min drive from work.. very lucky to have a shop like this so close.
Definitely never got even close to that kind of service when I took my bow to that shop. Went there twice and will never go back. I was the only customer there….stood at the service counter with my bow for 20 minutes while the 3 employees continued to talk about their weekend.
Just wow! We have nothing like that in Canada…let alone here in Alberta. Thanks for the great coverage of such a unique place. If they ever allow us to cross the border again, I’ll be riding my bike down there and of course…to SVA!
Hey Dan what's the possibility of my sight starting to be around 8 yards off now after 8 months of shooting alot. Thinking maybe because my strings have stretched especially because I never upgraded strings when I bought the V3
I think that’s the point of this video, so you can learn to do it at home. I’m new at archery and I’m starving for information and learning as much as I can.
@@steven_farmer89 anything can be done from home if you have all the equipment and tools. Yea I agree, but for the 90 percent of us that don’t, then you’re left with bow shops. Most shops are not going through all this for your arrow setup. The most practical way for the average guy is to go out there and shoot. The video is informative and important just not practical for the average joe.
@@Pattyboybx why I bought all my own gear. The shops were not talking the time to help myself or friends. Do I pulled the plug and bought the tools. Taught myself how and I help a lot of others
@@caninphx totally agree with the move. I have a diy bow press, although I’m hesitant to use it. I’ll buy one this year. I build all my own arrows, tuning, and so on. At this point I mainly use the shops for range time and buying supplies. It’s true though, many shops don’t care about the details. I remember telling the tech how I could see my arrow doing some kind of a fish fail move. He said that’s normal. I knew it wasn’t and that’s when I learned about tuning, spine and so on. As far as archers advantage and tapes, I don’t have a chronograph. So that’s why I say it’s complicated.
All you need to know is drop over distance and do the calculations.CBE came with a sight scale and you would take your 30 yard mark and line it up with your 60 yard mark and it worked great.
Bear SZN - episode 1 coming Monday. Bears, yes. Adventure, yes. See you there 🙏
Bow-tech stuff is addicting…love working on my bow almost as much as shooting it…great video
At about the 5:45 mark he said use the chronograph speed, I've seen that to be wrong. Calculated speed will give you a more accurate pin gap.

Wow! I should have gotten a custom sight tape when I was there at No Limits Archery during Elk Shape Camp.
The tape part was exceptional
No Limits is a great shop, one of two in Denver I go to.

Been looking for something like this all year!

Agree completely.
Jason is the man!
Love the channel!! Can you talk a little bit about scent control. What you like and don’t like what works for you. Thanks
I need to find a shop like this. Been having problems with my bow and no one close by to help.
Seems like a great shop.
How do you print off slower tapes, say if you want to print a bunch slower to find the correct tape.

Elkshape is the Jordan of RUclips archery content.
I need to find a good archery shop in California Bay Area. I found one so far. They seem cool but I’m still looking for a good good shop
I wish I lived near a shop like this. Can you mail them your stuff to get setup?
What sight config i use for black gold sights
What happen to the other shop?
This seems way too complicated. Not something most of us can do from home.
