wow I really wish cast members took their role more seriously in Batuu West. You experience looked so fun and I really wish they could bring that energy and experience over to the west coast! Many times when I go to Oga's I feel like the bartenders are tired/angry and dont really play into their roles too much :( thanks for taking us on this adventure guys :)
Basically the difference between Disneyland and WDW. Orlando’s contractually required to use equity members in “performance” roles, which I believe Oga’s is classified as. Same deal with Savi’s. That’s why they switched to just selling legacy sabers during the dispute with the Actors Equity union last year.
Went to Ogas for the first time ever before the parks closed and I have to say it felt like a club and made you feel completely outside of Disney. The employees play a great role inside the cantina and I have to say I love that drink with the dry ice! Great video
I took my dad there and we barely managed to get a reservation at 6 pm, but we got a spot. And it was so much fun. The atmosphere felt like a party, we chatted with random strangers at our table, which was a huge thing for me because I can be very shy and anxious around people I don't know. Our waiter/bartender was great, very much into his role. I had the Fuzzy Taun Taun and that foam was electrifying to my mouth, but overall very delicious.

I got a walk in to ogas in Disney world. I go to Disney every 5 years so this was great cuz I am a huge fan of Star Wars. There was someone having a birthday and the entire cantina started singing it was so much fun
I had a reservation for Oga's Cantina in Disneyworld for tomorrow and instead my bf and I had to cancel our entire trip! I've been watching all of your videos for weeks now in prep for our vacation, and I was so excited! But honestly, watching you guys somehow makes me feel better about it all, thank you so much for all the fun and love you spread :)
Been several times, and Oga’s East is always fun.. the “heeyy” chants with the Una Duey Dee song, or when they yell “Raaaancooor” when someone orders a flight, or the skit when Rex reboots and they have to bang on the reactor to reboot him... it’s definitely a cool vibe.

Unfortunately my friends and i did not have a good time at Oga’s in Disneyland. I made a reservation a month out. Day of we lined up to get seated then were told we had 45 mins stay, ok no problem. Finally we were shown to our table and then we waiting over 15mins for a server to come and take our order. Server had a non-welcoming attitude, took our order and never came back to check on us. We really wanted to order more drinks but our hype just died. We had to go and find our server to ask for our check. I’m willing to try again one day but that wont be anytime soon since we have to fly to get there.
Chahlie Chan I had a similar experience. Our waitress had a really bad attitude and was an ass about the 45 minute limit while being slow with our orders at the same time. My friends who weren’t Star Wars fanatics were upset.

I've been to the Oga's West twice now. Each time with 5+ people who all didn't like their drinks. Both times, the servers looked harassed and overworked and barely gave the time of day. It's nice to see that Cantina East has more of a "Trader Sam's Tiki Bar" vibe.

As a florida resident and miami local. I can tell you the culture on our side is super vibrant and diverse. We have a huge night life scene. That culture bleeds into other establishments. It's just in the lifeblood of our community.

I actually had a horrible experience at batuu west Cantina recently with our server. I filed a report and they said they would handle it internally. But it honestly was such a waste of time. It sucks because my first time at the Cantina was amazing. Plan on going back soon though. Won’t let that one server ruin it for me forever
Ya know, Michael Iger claimed Disney 'was building two of these parks' a few years ago, but really- with as many differences as they have, they're really two entirely seperate experiences. WDW and DL although both under the Disney umbrella, just kind of go off and do their own thing, which is beyond amazing. I think Disney did it's home work, and figured out what worked best for each park, what the guests were really into, and what sold the best. Battu west gets a lot of things we didn't on this side of the country, it's just too bad we're the only ones with a working dry ice machine! LOL Glad you got to experience all the joys of Battu east, and see how we roll here! Stay safe, and 'we'll see ya real soon'! :)

When we went to Olgas in Battuu East. It was dec 28, and the cast was so interactive. It was loud and amazing. They were doing all kinds of things. I wouldn’t know what to do in a quiet Olgas.

We just went 2 weeks ago. Oga’s was a lot of fun. I did notice less interaction though in the rest of Galaxy’s Edge East compared to videos from Galaxy’s Edge West. I bounded our first day there as a resistance fighter and had only one really good interaction from a cast member who even got us right into Smugglers run. When I went back the next day with camera in hand and not bounding I got a lot more interactions from Kylo, the troopers etc.

I love seeing y'all have so much fun! I wonder if the difference is due to management, or because the West team hasn't had time/space to develop the vibe like the East team has? It must be so hard to be a cast member in either because SW fans are so intense with so much knowledge and so many expectations, and the crowd volume is a lot. One thing I do find odd about the features lacking in the West: Disney has SO much money (and had even more when this decision was made.) Why not replace the broken dry ice machine?

One of my friends who works there told me there is one or two more hidden Falcons on the Falcon. Asked him if there is a Batmobile on there. He told me there isn't that is Force Awakens that has it not Batuu.

We went to Florida for the opening of the new Mickey Mouse ride in Hollywood Studios and the flower and garden festival at Epcot. We make it to Florida once or twice a year especially when there is new stuff popping up. But yeah we live right near Disneyland so we are there much more often!
Been to Oga's west 4 times and I'm always shocked at what a missed opportunity it is. The service is terrible and the overall lack of entertainment is mind boggling. How could they not fix the dry ice machine?!!!

I’ve been to Oga’s East 5 times now, and it is always a good time. Been for breakfast twice, and they still put on a good show (at 8am).

Been to Oga's west 4 times and I'm always shocked at what a missed opportunity it is. The service is terrible and the overall lack of entertainment is mind boggling. How could they not fix the dry ice machine?!!!
