Agh! I was so sad when the kid thought that he had to use the the grey bottom part for the blue middle leg he was considering! He didn’t need the grey bottom part, that’s only for the longer legs! He looked like he liked it too
If I'm understanding correctly, it was because he already had a taller R unit at home from a couple years earlier. He wanted the shorter one. But he ended up being in love with the finished result.
Mom Dory here. I'm 39, and I secretly love when my kids do this because it's one of the coolest things to do in Disney. And I think going with a classic is always a good choice!
I’ve made an R unit (R3-FR) and a C unit (C-RTYN “Crayton”). Love em both, but if you’re gonna make a C unit, use the wheel central leg. That was one of my mistakes. Either way, don’t go with a BB. My friend made one. They’re really difficult to control and don’t last long at all. (If you’re going to display your droid, take the batteries out so they don’t corrode.)
Thanks for the video, I can't wait to build mine next week.
Hope you had a great time building yours! What kind did you pick out?
@@Doyle.Adventures I made a red and white r2 unit

Cool little droid!
Thanks! We think so too! We love how it turned out!
I'm 36 and I would probably have a blast building a droid. I'd probably stick with an Astromech R2.

Great! 😅I built the same droid in November! 😮Have fun!😅
No way! Droid twins!
I also am buying a BB series droid today from market place
Very cool! My BB Grape has a mind of her own. Good luck... ;)
I like the c units
Aren't they so cute with their shorter legs and different heads?
Did you have this experience at Disney world or Disney land?
This was at Disney World in Hollywood Studios (or as we still call it in our family - MGM)
Just curious what it cost?
99 + tax at Disneyland and 120 + tax at Disney World
Etsy has droid accessories
That's a really good idea to get accessories once we get home!
I built a R C And BB Unit
You got the complete set!
Cute Mom…
i suggest the name CR4B
I love that idea! I'll pass it on to David to see what he thinks.
Make a lightsaber
We did that on our first trip. That entire experience is spectacular, and I'll admit that I cried.
