Derrick Rose not getting injured would have definitely gave the Bulls a chip. For him as the youngest MVP and a chip would skyrocket his legacy and definitely be in the top 75 greatest of all time. To me, he's the combination of John Wall and Russell Westbrook. The BIGGEST what if for me.

Honestly, TMac made the right choice going to orlando. Grant Hill was a better overall fit to his game than Vince, and was one foolish Doc decision away from playing with Duncan. Really was more unlucky hill's career went where it did. and paying him all that money, TMac never had a chance. Tmac's career has always been a huge what if to me.

Here is one for pre-2000: In the early 90’s Hakeem Olajuwon was fighting with the Rockets and they were shopping him around in trades. They reached a deal to trade him to the Seattle Superdonics, but Seattle backed out because they didn’t want to include Derrick McKey. The biggest part of the “what if?” Is that they wouldn’t have had to trade Payton or Kemp. The Sonics would have had a core of Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, and Hakeem Olajuwon.

My biggest what if: what if the nuggets kept Donavan Mitchell. Could you imagine if they had Spyda, Murray, Joker, MPJ and Air Gordon as a starting line up? Now that would be a powerhouse. 4/5 were nuggets draft picks with an awesome front office and couch willing to develop its players. Would they have won one or more championships by now?
Man that could’ve been an insane line up, the only thing with that is one of either MPJ, Murray or Mitchell willing to give up some touches on the offensive end for the sake of the team, that’s the only question I would pose ! Otherwise that’s a nasty line up and with Joker’s unselfishness and vision, he’d be able to keep everyone involved !

From the bubble we also know Murray and Mitchell had an epic duel and get along with each other. I think trading Mitchell on draft night was the one big mistake the front office made among many great ones. The real issue would be if they could land MPJ if their record was better.

Murray drafted in 2016 and was also coming off the bench his first year. Mitchell was drafted in 2016 and immediately was impactful for Utah. Even Malone should have seen what a great young back court he had after a few practices. This almost assures that they at least make the second round. So by the draft 2018 the best they could hope for at the SF would be Kevin Huerter, who isn’t bad (actually has higher win share rate than MPJ) but is terrible from the 3 line. Or maybe with such a stacked back court, MPJ’s sniping skills might not be needed? But it’s hard to imagine the nuggets without MPJ since he’s so core in spreading the defense.
If we're talking injuries then the biggest What If is "What if Bird didn't have his back injury?" I guarantee Jordan's career would be different Of the ones mentioned I feel the Derrick Rose injury was the most impactful.

No this should be no 1 by far, and even way more better then James Harden what if? By far because there is way more convincing evidence to prove and that is what if KD was not injured and never left Curry and the GSW instead of teaming up with Kyrie Irving. I don't think Shaq staying in LA would have helped them. He was getting very fat and lazy. It was Riley in Miami that made him work, but that was only for about 3 years and then he got fat and lazy again.

By far because there is way more convincing evidence to prove and that is what if KD was not injured and never left Curry and the GSW instead of teaming up with Kyrie Irving. And if Klay Thompson never get injured in the same time with KD, I don't see anyone beating the Warriors at all, how you gonna beat that team, they are going through over every single teams in the league with ease and it was not even close.
