Congrats guys! Man I've been shark fishing the gulf coast since 2001 and this is my dream fish. I literally had goosebumps seeing your excitement. You guys did a great job getting everyone a turn but also getting yourself on that reel to get a quick release and an even better job at getting the leader off that monster tail. I live vicariously through yall when I can't be there and that made my day no joke. I'd love to do some drops with you guys one day. Keep livin the dream 🤙
This is for sure the last one for a lot of time ,those sharks are hates gulf waters they more Pacific or Colder Waters on Eastcoast New York,Carolina,Canada ,Gulf of Mexico is too warm for them only Found in FL
I’ll see if I can find the pictures but it’s not the first land based great white in Alabama. I seen one caught 12 years ago in Gulf Shores. My best guess is it was around 8 feet long. They got that bad boy unhooked and sent back without ever bringing it completely ashore with just a few pictures to show for it. I got maybe 20 pictures of it and it was for certain a white shark and caught on a half of a 10lb jack. I know the fish had some girth to it and remains the only great white I’ve seen in person to this day.
@Bamapride1000 The one from 12 years ago you saw is probably a Mako Shark, they are often mistaken for Great Whites. This Great White these gentlemen caught was indeed the first caught off the Alabama Coast nothing on record shows up so maybe it did happen so long ago nobody thought to report it but as of rn this is the first great white landed from a beach there and that is FU**ING Impressive and awesome as hell!!!👏🏽
@@MisterMLT having seen a lot of Mako's and Whites im not really sure how people would "often" mistake Mako's for Whites, there identifying features are completely different and the only real similarity between the two is the black eye
Ivwatched you guys catch 2 of these now and when you say this is the one! I feel like you know all ready. That's incredibly cool, very nice handling as always. Glad I found your channel
About ten years ago I was in Orange Beach and there were missing posters everywhere of a guy who disappeared in a kayak. His truck was still parked in the same spot but he was gone.
@CoastalWorldwide1 I didn't see a measuring tape and from the size of the people next to it , it doesn't look to be 12ft. Now if it was measured off camera then that is a small 12 footer and those people are big and tall . Seen enough whites in actual habitat in PCB and California to know that is a baby, but I wasn't there and if it was measured off camera and is 12 ft . Then it is very skinny.
That was AWESOME! Guestimation on how big it was? 8'-10'? I saw you guys on Bearded Brad's channel and had to subscribe. I don't see how you guys have such a low number of subscribers!
We just had to restart from a 62k subscriber channel due to RUclips algorithm issues. So reposting videos every Monday and new new videos Wednesday! Welcome to new channel! Can’t wait to bring you epic stuff every week!!!!!!
Hile its a great catch. One of a lifetime. It doesn't matter as far as any record is concerned. In order to count for anything it should be one angler all the way through. That's just how the rules are. Either way...congrats
No doubt! This was on a charter trip so they weren’t ready to crank this in solo on their first shark. As far as a “record” solo angling would be igfa standings which would not only require that but also killing the fish for an official weight. With all this being said- the claim was the first ever gw to be caught from the shore in Alabama. That’s all- not a record- just a first recorded.
@@CoastalWorldwide1 of course!!! What was I thinking?? Lmmfao!!! I was thinking the clients…..😂😂😂!!! But who know maybe the rebook and y’all do it again!!! 😂😂😂😂💪🏼💪🏼💯💥💥💥🎣🎣🦈🦈😂😂😂😂 There are actually 3 pinging in the gulf right now!! Southern Florida….in the Gulf. I text ya a pic! Crazy!! Get’em!!!! 💯✌🏼
Woooow that's awesome I tried wakeboarding 2 years ago in Alabama met some dolphins I thought I seen a shark fin before I dolphins came up to me I'm now not really trying to wakeboard in those waters
Awesome!!! And to all the haters, it's no different than a hammerhead or sand bar, or tiger for that matter. All protected but as long as you release them properly, as you clearly did, it's all good fun and you can't decide what takes your bait
Yep! Had to start a new channel and leave 62k subs behind so we are reposting all older videos again. Sucks but can’t cry over spilled milk This happened in March 2023
When typically deep water sharks come close to shore, IMO, they are having a harder time finding food. The Oceans die-off is starting to show more clearly.
Easier food sources on the beach- they find that out and they return year after year! Not a sign of our gulf dying shark and fish numbers in the gulf are at an all time high!!
Digusting. The great white shark is an endangered species. There is no reason to hunt these animals. Neither for fun nor for business. But I'm glad that you released him.
That great white was not targeted. It could have been any species of fish on that line that was caught. By the way , you must be blind or stupid. That shark was released to live on and maybe meet you in the water.
The realization of what is was, coupled with the reaction made it worth the watch. Like a child catching their first fish. Awesome! Release was 100 ✌️
Thanks so much- we did our best!
Man those runs were incredible! Congrats!
Thanks so much!!
Coastal Worldwide you rock.
You guys know how to put them on it.
You always get your fish!
Thank you very much!

Absolutely amazing catch and release! Great video!
Thanks so much
About ten years ago I was in Orange Beach and there were missing posters everywhere of a guy who disappeared in a kayak. His truck was still parked in the same spot but he was gone.
👀 that’s nuts. The Gulf (not talking about sharks) is an unforgiving body of water that can get very nasty, very fast.
Surprised i didnt hear "We gonna need a bigger beach" .. great catch
😂😂 missed the opportunity
Good thing it was just a little one. Great job guys
11ft 3!
As a Texas lbsf guy, I am so freaking pumped!
Epic night we were blessed to have
Just think, that is just a baby too. Not a teen or adult. Glad they released it and so cool to see a juvenile White shark.
Actually at 12ft its no longer considered a juvi

Those dudes are the best, I caught a 12 footer tiger shark 🦈 with them back in February this year
@@coryjones6328 Bet that was awesome, someday I need to do a trip like that, stuck in SC and it’s rare I even get to go to north Florida😂
Keep after it bro!

Thanks so much!
holy smokes We usually stay in Orange Beach hard to believe a great white caught off beach WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!
Crazy morning for sure!!
Love the video though guys great content; there protected in Australia since 1997 but we get the same vibes to when we catch them accidentally lol
Glad you enjoyed it! 🤘🤘
What did you use for bait

Yeah that’s wild to wakeboard off the beach!
Good catch! Cangratulations!
You Should have measure it… take good pictures to tag him. It is a juvenile, but still a GW

Epic night we were lucky enough to have
Who is going to kayak out the next bait 😧
👉😂
To think someone was in the dark on a kayak in the surf and a great white was lurking 😳
On a kayak with BAIT!
are you going to eat it?
Federally protected species that we had no idea was even an option to catch
The biggest shark I’ve ever caught was 2-3 feet long I am so jealous.

Let’s upgrade that PB 🤘
@@CoastalWorldwide1 that would be great.😁
Congrats 🎉
Thank you!!
They get 18ft long. I dont think there is a reel big enough.
😂 one has been recorded at 16ft long caught land based on a reel
Thats crazy! My back hurts thinking about it! @@CoastalWorldwide1
Somehow the Jaws soundtrack with a banjo just doesn't work.
Only time you were glad it's not a tiger lol
😂😂😂😂 soooo true
should’ve let them get a pic or video with it but nicce
Illegal 🤘

11ft isn’t considered juvenile fyi 🤘
The world is millions and millions of years old, your not the first one to catch a great white in Alabama
From the beach we definitely are 😂 Alabama isn’t millions of years old friend- est in 1819…
There is always those people that want to take the excitement out of a super catch all because they didn't do it that was an awesome catch and release

100% isn't the first land based white from Alabama 😂 but nice try haha
From our knowledge it is and the first ever recorded 🤘
