Absolutely love yalls channel boys, but the shark content is my favorite! Its what got me started sharking with no concern if im doing it the wrong way. I have a couple surf rod setups with 4 sharks 5ft and under under my belt now thanks to yall! One of these days, when im ready, ill get into the bigger setups! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! Sub par quality- but awesome experience to share with y’all!
Just got back from a week trip to gulf shores...caught my first sharks from the beach thanks to yalls tips! Just on a little smaller scale! Four and half footers on light(ish) tackle was a blast! One day Ill get with yall to catch the big girls! Keep up the good work fellas!
That’s epic!! So glad you got after em! Congratulations!
We are an underwater light manufacture from Japan, we really love the content you make around fishing. We would gladly send you our high quality lights for your boats to experience the quality of it.
We are actually in the process of rewriting our boat and thought about underwater lights. Please email details here-

GOJ
Thank you!!
These guys make some insanely quality content and they are super great guys to be around and are very willing to help and give tips on shark fishing!!
Wish we could have gotten better shots of the fish- but health was more important- thanks for your continued support!
This is a BANGER video bro! Keep up the hard work!
Thanks brotha!!
@@CoastalWorldwide1 your welcome
Crazy Hammer! That was awesome!
TOBBBYYYYYY
You guys are the next blacktiph
Not at all they exceeded Josh Jorgensen when he started eyeballing fished lengths and claiming they’re 100s of lbs over what they really are
@@843Landbased YEP!!! Gotta keep it real to stay relevant!
I know, fishermen lie...LOL...but these guys are REAL!
Glad you enjoyed the film 🤘
As always, you all did a great job. Now where did I put that bait? 😭
Glad you enjoyed!
Great video!

@@CoastalWorldwide1 man the waves was crazy Saturday through Tuesday so I didn't get to shark fish.
How much does one of your rod and reel shark fishing combos cost approximately?
say you get an avet exw 80/2 they start at like 800-1000
thrasher crowbar is 125-200 depending on model
plus components and getting it built. guides, reel seat, and then having someone build it. that could cost a few hundred
tightline braid is 400 for 2500 yards of 130lb
and then however much topshot you want
in total id say anywhere from 1800 to 2500
Reel $1400- rod $900- line $350
Just curious what’s a spinning reel or conventional reel yall would recommend. Preferably for sub 10ft sharks
Sharks casting hope to be around3-6ft
Okuma Salina 14k with tight line 65lb 8 strand 🤘
Early this time! Love the vids❤
Thank you! FIRSTTT!!
You guys are awesome but the lighting needs to be better. Didn't get to see that hammerhead before you released it.
Gotta be quick with that shark...the very quick release is more important than the picture or video! Not to mention Florida rules.
Yeah the focus is not film for those sharks- it’s getting them healthy and free swimming 🫡
never stop making shark vids
They will be around 🤘🤘
What thrasher blank is that
Towtruck
Got a new trx 130, how do you guys recommend I spool it? I was thinking 200 hollow core to 200lb mono but I don’t know if I need to go heavier. Thanks
200lb 12 strand tight line braid 1500-1700 yards and a topshot of 250lb LP mono on top!
Hey man I’m an Alabama resident what all do I need for lbsf in Alabama. And what about the 300 feet from the shore “if” you are causing an unsafe situation.
Depends if you are kayaking or casting- and the rule basically states don’t be dumb and cause a situation where someone outside your group could get hurt
The other law in orange beach is no shark fishing at public accesses so you need private access to a beach behind a condo or house.
Fort Morgan or di is your best bet
Love your videos boys. No one does it better!
I'm just getting into shark fishing and have an 8500 Penn Slammer IV paired with a 10' Penn Carnage 3 surf spinning rod. I ordered a SwellPro Fisherman MAX FD2 Drone and am looking into getting a conventional reel to add to the arsenal. My goal is to easily handle 6' sharks and have enough power to reel in pretty much anything I hook up with including 10'+ sharks eventually. Some of the options I'm considering are Avet TRX, Shimano Tiagra, Penn International, or the new LBS Okuma Makaira. I understand you guys prefer the drag system on the Avets. Would you still consider these the best for hunting the big boys down in Texas or Florida? Would you recommend getting a 130 or would the 80 LBS Makaira be more than enough? I'm willing to pay extra if it will be a better reel in the long-term.
Thanks again for the incredible videos
Hey hey! Thanks for the kind words and support!
We actually are not a big fan of Avet because each reel is so different. We are waiting on the new shipment of Makaira 80 sizes to arrive! We will be getting 6 of them after our testing and being hands on with the development of that reel- we are all in!
@@CoastalWorldwide1 So you would recommend the new LBS Makaira 80 over even a Tiagra 130, Avet TRX 130, and Penn International VI?
@@iancamp7834 yes 🙌 they are gonna be 🔥🔥
@@CoastalWorldwide1 What about for drone fishing baits out really far? I just wish the LBS Mak80 had more line capacity for that purpose. Thoughts? Appreciate your input as always
@@iancamp7834 how far you talking? Are hammers around? 800 yards of 200lb braid short toppy of 200 mono- drop the bait 300 yards and set strike at 50 pounds 🤘 what more do you need?
If you need go down to 150lb braid- 45 at strike
fighting out of the rod holder is much harder than people think 😅
It indeed is a challenge for sure!
Word up!!!
🤘🤘🔥
Well that sucked I just watched most of this video and didn't even get to see a fish y'all need to invest in some lights or something
It's a Hammer, time is of the essence with these sharks as their mortality rate goes up exponentially the longer the fight goes on. Would rather catch a glimpse of the fish if it means a speedy release rather than risk its life to snap pics or other nonsense.
Thumbs up for the rhythm!
The focus was on the fish health not the film- we also don’t film client trips more than GoPros because the focus is also on client experience. Just wanted to share this unique experience. Agree on quality- but the health of the shark was more important
If yall want to get views and build this channel then it would be nice if y’all actually pulled the sharks up on the beach just enough for us to see them for a second. Other RUclipsrs do it just long enough for the audience to see. So much potential for this channel but lacking on quality.
They would probably want to but if u know anything about shark fishing and shark fishing in Florida. They have rules to follow. Hey I could be wrong though
Thumbs up for the rhythm...and Wayne's comment.
The focus is the health of the shark- not the film- killing a shark for views is not our vibe- this was also a client trip where we don’t focus on film- just wanted to share a cool experience with not great film 🎥
