Excellent video. We are transitioning to T880 and Western Star 49X. I currently run a T800 with a 485 Paccar and with an Eaton ultra Shift 18 speed. It’s been a great vehicle. A little challenging pulling a quad through BC, Hudson Hope highway and so many hills. Body job the motor and Jake is perfect. Tandem pup not a problem. Tridem pup or quad… get the extra double double with espresso from Timmy’s. 😂 I have subscribed and enjoyed your video. Slip seating is the number one cost on any companies bottom line. If you’re open to change…. Not so many things are a problem. If you’re not open to change…. You’re an actual cost to the business, domino effect… your customers experience the unwarranted attitude and the mechanics gotta fix some really stupid things that should not need fixing. Looking forward to more of your videos!

@@RickHaglund-u9k Thank you!! I first started in the oilfield working pipeline in Hudson Hope. Beautiful place. Definitely a foggy highway in the fall months

I’ve driven the new trucks and I’m on a fleet right now that pulls pneumatic trailers hauling cement. 2 of our brand new T680s with paccar engines blew up before 7k miles. Several of our other new trucks are having electrical issues, accompanied by other issues. These new trucks are a luck of a draw in terms of build quality so count yourself as lucky that you’ve got a good truck so far because that isn’t necessarily the case across the board. Kenworth still owes my company several new trucks from last year and they haven’t gotten them yet, meanwhile, they’re still in a dispute about the new trucks with blown motors.
