This pan is wayyy better than the average pan although it failed on some of the things it showed on the commercials but still acceptable
Skii Woo i don’t think anyone is gonna put shredded cheese only on a pan, and i don’t think anyone is gonna accidentally hit their pan with a goddamn hammer. The candy test will have the same result with cheaper non stick pan, just need to be a good one.
No one needs to melt plastic anyway, and this pan is a fantastic nonstick option. It’s oven safe up to 850F and the coating on it is more durable so it better withstands high heat and dishwasher cleaning.
It’s also way more expensive

So, let me get this straight. The point of a “non-stick” pan is so that things won’t stick to it’s surface. Adding butter or oil to any other pan would make in “non-stick”, so really what is the point telling Inside Edition to use butter or oil for best results?
It said little and most pans need a good amount so maybe it saves money on oil also oil isn't really the healthiest thing so it could be good for health

I even use a little butter in my seasoned cast iron. It's mainly for flavor. I've tried oil, bacon grease but keep going back to butter.

For the egg test the company probably used a spatula first to separate it from the pan most “non stick” pans can let an egg slide if it is loosened with a spatula first

Technically, the silverware test worked. Plastic melts and gets watery when it is hot, the commercial likely cooled it down before removing, and we see that when inside edition uses the spatuala, there is no plastic resedue on the bottom, so the plastic silverware is true

I got one the 10 inch Blue Diamond pan last week. When I pan fried the eggs, it always stuck to the pan even if it’s poached by boiling water in the pan. Overall it’s better than other regular pans.

It should be illegal to say something is good quality when it isn't (or at least not as good) & then sell it. Especially if you physically show it.
In the commercial for the plastic utensils they look like they let it cool down and harden again before taking it off, whereas Lisa and the chef tried taking them off whilst they were still hot and just melted. It probably would come off if it had time to harden again first
