So very durable hose, just not towing cable strong. Even on the off chance you needed to tow something but didn't have one around I don't think a hose would be the first option that would usually come to mind.
That aside, I should replace my old hose, kind of shredded, and I think the spool has a bad connection to it.
Eric Ling probably would work in a pinch if you put a light load on it.

In the commercial the trucks were on sand where there isn't much grip and in the test they put it on asphalt. Also they used a more high power trucks. And they're thinking that they're right.

Here's why it snapped: they did the test on pavement. In the commercial the trucks were on dirt, which allowed the tires to slip and the trucks not continue to move forward.
The hose wasn't pulled taught in the commercial. It's drooping a bit, which means it's not preventing those two trucks from moving; something else is.

Inside addition manages to find an expert for literally everything
So if you intend to use the hose for what it's meant to be used for, it's great, and functions quite well - definitely better than the majority of other hoses.
Once wheel spin starts, pulling force is greatly diminished. I could see how on dirt this test may be able to be pulled off... for the second they showed on camera at least. Also, the tire on the hose, I'm sure (since it was done on cobble stones) there was some cleaver routing of the hose through a low spot.

bottom line -- use FOUR (4) garden hoses to tow your vehicle. Pluse, the garden hose in the vehicle test ripped out at the connector brass threads as fastened to the spigot attachment at the vehicle, not at the juncture of two hoses in the middle. The hose is AWESOME!

The reason it snapped with the two trucks is because they were on a race track with alot of grip and the commercial was on dirt so the tires just spun

The actual product keeps stretching until it breaks. I suspect a steel wire was connected to each truck and hidden inside of the hose.
They did the truck test on gravel so the tires would spin out faster.

It didn’t break in the commercial because both of the trucks in the commercial were Ford F1 50s and in the test they were using Ford F2 50s which have way more torque and power and that’s why it broke in the test
