Thank you for a cool video, laughter is the best medicine some say. Tater just embraces that quality Hope you get your 30 mile days easily from now on.
I tried to explain to taters that it was this show with a an old man running around to frantic music while wearing women’s underwear and she just looked confused
@@FirstChurchofTheMasochistHikes my mother wouldn’t let me watch it as a kid, but my grandma would sometimes. I mostly thought it was weird and somewhat funny, but mostly over my head.
I'm glad the mosquitoes and ticks are calming down.. yea beautiful woman in Minnesota but that's all... Who wants to live somewhere with all those mosquitoes sucking their blood all day... Cali Kid... Happy where I'm at but enjoying the summer vacation paddle you both are doing.... Seems weird I don't see u walking much... Kick your feet up.. you've earned a relaxing time off your feet... Love the videos... I've been hooked since Florida.... Keep it up
When I last read the Permethrin instructions, I remember it saying to spray until it looks damp and to protect yourself from the wet product. The interesting thing at 4:49 looks to be a pump. An industrial volume well could be put next to a river inorder to take large volumes of water without technically taking it from the river. Its a stupid loophole that regulatory agencies used to allow 30 years ago. I was an Army Corps of Engineers Officer for 27 years, I would not live next to a river like those houses were. I've seen too many floods. I am 1/2 mile and over 100' in elevation higher than my river which can easily drain into Long Island Sound. Even a 500 year flood in 1987 didn't bother us. Another nice video. Good Luck, Rick
Interestingly enough Sawyer appears to not have those warnings in their specific instructions. They make it sound like it’s safe and the only reason to not put it on skin is picaradin is more effective
.....and it's another episode of that wacky show, "The Masotater's Comedy Show", starring Giggles as Taters, and Matt, as the smart-a** in the front of the boat! Doing great guys. Feeling your joy of fewer ticks, better camping spots, and big miles to meet the schedule. Just be careful with the "and we haven't even hit anything lately" comments, since we know what happens when Matt gets cocky! Paddle on! Tortoise (not normally a river creature, but hey, you gotta be flexible!)
We met you guys at the boat launch at Belle Prairie County Park, north of Little Falls, MN. Awesome comedy video. Good Luck And Safe travels Becker Family
We originally started in the opposite configuration on the Suwanne but found this was better since I tend to deliver more power. We have switched a few times but we both like taking a particular role and sticking to it
Enjoying the episode close-outs by Jen. I know you guys are working within a schedule, and to state the obvious, it's potentially a whole other experience leaving way before tick and mosquito season. That said, an adventure is an adventure, and all adventures beat vacuuming the stairs.
Yep, and I’ve heard people argue for early or late starts which each seem to have their own pluses and minuses. We were restricted to our exact dates because of Jen’s summer break
I don't believe your videos are representative of the whole experience, but If I were Taters I probably would have whacked you with the paddle by now. Take care of this special woman Matt!
Jen has the best giggle ever! Paddle On!
4:49 pipe on the right is the well and to the left is the pump motor
Good you splashed him 😂

Watching these videos really makes me appreciate my A/C and no mosquitoes.
The Benny Hill reference was fantastic. Thanks for the laugh.

Leaping people got some sense of humor there was a couple of times laughing so hard I was crying almost

And that appears to have been a pump for what we think is filling irrigation ditches above the river. We saw a few in action these last days
Good to get those easy miles in.
Thanks, nice leisurely day paddling best of luck. ✌🏻👊🏼

Good day on the river. Roll on!

It was great meeting you folks! We were hoping you didn’t have the headwind as bad as we did further on
@@FirstChurchofTheMasochistHikes So of HWY #10 the wind did pick up a bit, but we made it. Have a safe journey we will be watching.
No matter what the challenge, what the sport you all
Produce great videos.
Next up: extreme curling
5:09 Matt and Jen get mooned by a deer.
Enjoying all you videos. Question, you may have answered all ready, why is Matt always in the front of the canoe and Tater is in the back?

👍😊
I love hearing all the warblers. In this one it was one american redstart after another.

That was a water well head with power unit
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lucky she only splashed you - I was waiting for her to bob you with that paddle…
We like these paddles too much to risk damaging them by smacking something dense like my head
I don't believe your videos are representative of the whole experience, but If I were Taters I probably would have whacked you with the paddle by now. Take care of this special woman Matt!
Much better when she narrates. Hearing about the trip instead of mosquito's and ticks over and over is preferred.
