meanwhile i camp all year with my 16 year old sprinter winnebago RV and get a bluetooth temp probe so you dont have to take and check all the time a bit pricey but work great and good for a long ways away!
Sort of funny,you said for the new folks Mandy is my girlfriend. I've watched you for more than a year and thought she was your wife. When in service my duties kept me temporary duty to other air bases. When I got back the squadron clerks would go nuts as I bring no gossip back unless the person themselves told me. Knew you had a daughter and a camera shy lady ,and assumed all were one family and you were lucky you could camp so much. My wife would let me fish about every other wkend until I lost her to cancer. Keep being careful and enjoy your days.
Grew up eating Rhodes rolls That was because mom couldn't make bread dough. She found it easier to buy canned biscuits and ready made pie shells. I'm 68 now and I don't cook at all. Love watching you cook though.
lol...So the difference between you and me Kenny....When I take apart a door latch at the camp site, I "test" lock the door with the door open because I will inevitably lock myself out of the camper when the door lock fails after I monkey with like that.
Being a Minnesota boy all my life and growing up on a lake north of Brainerd I'd of done the same thing trying to get the drone back! LOL!! I'd be worried about the ice in front of the beaver house as the beaver move back and forth under it which not only makes it a little thinner but they produce air bubbles that can make the ice thinner yet. But good job getting it back !! We are going to be doing our first truck camper trip this spring down south. Keep up the great videos!!
I had a pickup camper. Lots of times I drove with the ac off, because of the shade over the cab. This is a plus camping in the southern states during August.

The 860 was the predecessor to the 811. The layout is identical, but the bathroom in the 811 is bigger and I think the slideout on the 811 is deeper too. I had an 811 for 10+ years. I now have an AF 992.
I think you're right. I've never seen an 811 in person. But watching RUclips videos, I recognize the differences you mentioned. The other big difference is that mine was built back in the day when they were still using wood frame construction. The condition of this 20 year old camper speaks for the quality of NorthWoods Construction.

We bought one for our Alliance Valor 42v13 that is programmable, comes with a remote and a manual keyless pin code you can type in. Works great. We love it. Gives off this satisfying little chime when it locks and unlocks. Even talks to you, telling your locked or unlocked. LOL.
That sounds very cool. I had a Grand Marquis with keyless entry. It was a really handy feature to have. I might go that route. I was concerned with battery life, seeing how we can get cold here (although not this winter). But, having the option to use the standard key would resolve those issues. Thanks for your input.

Hey there Kenny. I'm glad you decided to keep the generator, there is nothing like redundancy when you're out in the woods. I also change my daughters oil and do things like brakes and what ever else her car needs. She know how to change her oil as I taught her to do it. I think she just likes coming over and wrenching with her dad. We always have a good time and lots of laughs. Thanks for the video, amazing as always!

Granted I am from the south and I haven’t seen ice thick enough to walk on since 1973 and we have our “here hold my beer” moments but we always have someone around to point out were the body is! I saw it a few times but could never get it on camera. You could see the open water in front of the campsite. The Beaver would swim back and forth in that channel.
So…my heart broke watching the falling drone video, then it almost exploded when you fell in the lake! Then at the end of the video, you tell us the water was only 2-3 feet deep! As my Mama used to say..” I ought to snatch you bald headed!” Haha So glad you got two 3 day weekends in a row. The Prime rib? “It’ll be fine!” It was. Mouthwatering. I saw it a few times but could never get it on camera. You could see the open water in front of the campsite. The Beaver would swim back and forth in that channel.
So…my heart broke watching the falling drone video, then it almost exploded when you fell in the lake!
Then at the end of the video, you tell us the water was only 2-3 feet deep!
As my Mama used to say..” I ought to snatch you bald headed!” Haha
So glad you got two 3 day weekends in a row. The Prime rib? “It’ll be fine!” It was. Mouthwatering.
