@@JASH Was sleeping on Open Mike Eagle for ages, and then I saw this video through your channel feed when it was new a couple years ago. Watched it and got me into him. Fantastic video. Fantastic song (probably going to make "all-time favorite hip-hop songs" for me). Reminds me a little bit of Immortal Technique's "The 4th Branch"--different tone and style, obviously, but similarly epic social diatribes. Or maybe Mr. Lif's "Live From the Plantation"--probably more similar in style and also one of my favorite all-times.
