I disagree, but hear me out. This scene is much better than most, for a couple of reasons. First of all, they intentionally give away that they’re part-time thugs and no where near as hardcore as they want people to think by the ‘mine’s the read one’ and the hospital is about 30 minutes away depending on traffic comments. Second, he goes through those guys pretty quickly so everyone gets the proverbial ‘everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth’ notification that this is more than just scaring the local patrons, which is what they are being paid to do. In that context, this is a pretty fair scene.

While I always tried to avoid fights outside of controlled sparing and a few tournaments, the few times pushes came to blows there were a lot more guys standing around watching and hesitating than jumping into the fray. Just my limited experience.

The fights are fine. It's the camera work that is absolutely terrible. It's shot like a video game. I would really like this movie without the fake camera movement.

When you watch action movies, you need to start 70’s and 80’s at least before claiming any POS is golden. This scene began with some slaps… the prelude was a question about medical insurance… and the “bad guy” was threatening to kill the dude.
