I remember seeing Doyle Bramhall II and Derek Trucks touring with Eric Clapton at the Key Arena in Seattle in 2006, they really made the show with how they could work together, playing off each other on many of the songs. I watched this song and could see their shared bond of friendship and experience as touring musicians, what a great job by everyone here. Trey Anastasio really stays on focus too, he's a great improviser and jam-band player (can you say "Phish?"), his work on this cut is stellar too.

They are a supergroup! A powerhouse that stands apart from the rest. Add Doyle Bramhall and Trey Anastasio and you get this masterpiece! What a wonderful sound! 💕

Just POWERHOUSE band!!! Hands down! Got to see Derek and Susan at our beautiful Academy Theater in Lynchburg,Va. They ROCKED those walls!!! Sold Out!!! and we let them know we Loved them too!!! I was volunteering and was Rocking along side everyone else too!!!
I'm sooo in love with Tedeschi trucks band especially JJ the drummer his SEXY SMILE gets me every time...Derek's a God on the guitar & Susan's voice is HEAVEN! #RedheadDeadhead

They're a one-of-a-kind band, and Dereck is now "pure poetry on the guitar," but this song is an intimate confession, not a tabloid story. Jimi charted the path to the song, and anyone who follows Eric Clapton's interpretation is doing the composer's intentions a disservice and on the wrong foot 🤒
