    I’ve had bbq shrimp at both Deanies locations in Nola and so flavorful! Mr B’s also is very good. I’m gonna give your recipe a shot as I’ve done other variations of the dish. ⚜️

    Great video, and thanks for posting it. I was curious if this recipe would work for crayfish? Instead of the shrimp?

    • @WestCoastCajunCuisine
      @WestCoastCajunCuisine  4 года назад

      technically you could use crawfish but it's best with shrimp because the shrimp soak up some of that flavor a little bit better than the Crawfish but then again you know you can always make it like a dip.

    Every time I buy head-on shrimp the meat is mushy because they have Frozen the shrimp with the heads on. You're not supposed to do that!😠

    • @WestCoastCajunCuisine
      @WestCoastCajunCuisine  3 года назад

      Absolutely do not buy frozen head on shrimp. If you get frozen shrimp they should have been cleaned. I'm not sure were you live but if you are having a hard time finding fresh shrimp check out www.lacrawfish.com/ They will ship next day.

      @WestCoastCajunCuisine  2 года назад

      No it's not boiling the shrimp. It's actually braising the shrimp in a sauce. Have you ever tried New Orleans style barbecue shrimp?

      I watch a lot of cooking videos. The worst videos are always the ones where the cooks makes it about themselves. Telling personal stories, waxing poetic about things going across their minds. Remember, people clicked your link to learn how to make that particular food item. That’s it. SAM THE COOKING GUY is the worst violator of this. He’ll make a 25 minute video on how to microwave popcorn! Check out chef John from foodwishes.com all of his videos are under 8-10 minutes, you never see him, he wasted very little time explains the food and makes it about the cooking it’s the model which all cooking shows should be based on. Simple, direct, and concise.

      You should checkout some of my more recent videos. Yes I'm in front of the camera at the beginning explaining the dish but the cooking part is all cooking.

      First of all let me get this straight, if you don't like it you don't like it, I'm not doubting you or anything like that, everybody's entitled to their own opinion, just so you know if you have a better recipe by all means you should go with that one.
