- This is a new unlimited money exploit that was brought to my attention. Simply, on Saturday Krobus will sometimes sell cooked dishes for considerably less than you can sell them for. Which means easy and instant profit. You're only limited by time in the day. This also works for Sturgeon on Wednesdays if you have the right fishing perks. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

I'm a casual DF viewer. every time I click on one of these videos there's some fresh shenanigans going on in the background. what the hell is he doing with all those crab pots. why are there so many trees. sometimes there's grass in the square. slime hanging out by pierre's. babies in cages. DF has some serious chaos diety energy and I'm not sure I want to be around when he reveals his true nature

@@avengingstew5960 As you read down the list it gives the maximum price you should spend if your seeking to use the exploit. HOWEVER, since the new edition came out back in November the exploit has been patched so it can not be used as effectively as before.

@@richardnowlin4919 Yo, I just wanted to ask you someting since you responded to my last comment. I was playing in the Stardew Valley Fair just now in the fish game and I found a minor glitch. I'm not sure if it is frame perfect and I accidentally did it but, I was playing the fish game and to cast the pole faster I would cast it as soon as any fish or algae I caught touched my sprite. Then one of these times when I was doing it (happened today) I gltiched it and it insta-gave me another fish as a "hit" without the fishing pole animation and the fishing pole had dissapeared from my hands throughout the whole part of catching the fish and I also think the neck grew a tad bit taller on the sprite. It was so quick I only took screenshots of it on my switch. I wanted to ask if it is a known glitch or if you have heard about it before.

2021, this seems to have been patched out of existence on 1.5, as reloading the shop menu after chatting does not refresh the item.
The price thing has not changed though? If it hasn't then that would be a nice boost to my profits every once in a while

Yeah because it was a glitch I believe but the money thing still does work you can still purchase things for cheaper than they’re worth it is just less efficient now

FYI, this has been patched in the 1.4 update. You can only buy up to 5 of the dishes and 10 of the other items like the solar and void essence.

Everblue 22 you can still use the item id glitch with naming a character. eric specifically said he’d never patch it because its up to the player to cheat. so name yourself [163], download an autoclicker, talk to gus on the first day, and make millions in like a half hour of real time
daphnayy, I know about the item ID glitch but the journal glitch was useful for getting home from the mines.

I'm playing the mobile version on the phone and I can say this trick works amazingly well. I was finishing up summer on year 2 when I watched this video, and I figured I would check out Krobus's shop. I got extremely lucky when I found Krobus was selling rhubarb pies for 50 gold and they sell for 400. Took about 15 minutes, but I bought quite a few pies and boom instant millionaire. I still have about 500 pies left. In addition to making a lot of money, they are great healing items, so definitely a great trick. Thanks DF!

On ps4 it seems like it wont work. Krobus doesn't refresh after buying. Even when I leave the area entirely.
he said that it only works on PC
S theking not really he just said that if you're on pc you can hold down shift and it would automatically select 5 / stack the items

That's actually good. I always think this bug is a bit too OP, not because of this exploit, it's because of how you can just buy as much iridium quality sprinkler from him as you want on Friday, without really ever worry about having enough battery.

I don't normally exploit like this, but I'm so pissed that I lost a fruit tree to the stupid placement rules I was willing to steal my hard earned 2000g back.

@@LividImp if you get a chest and have lets say a dandelion in the chest, and a full inventory then drag that dandelion to the auto-sort button and keep clicking it it will keep spawning dandelions outside the chest. then sell those dandelions for profit. the Spiffing Brit did a video on it, still works
@@stuff148 This does work, actually pretty amazing so do it before that gets patched. Problem is you cant just spam to get millions of something. Press it once, then pick it up with an open space and put i back in then repeat, its slow but god dam does it work so good

I do belief the refreshing stock from Krobus occurs only in rain or snow as you mentioned that in an older video. It was snowing so it was refreshing
you can build farmhand houses and sell the furniture, you'll get more money than the price for its materials and the house itself (do it with 2 players, one building and demolishing houses, one selling furniture)
Eduard Dlabola or you can get as many houses as possible already made in the world creator menu and sell the stuff from it. That way you don’t use any materials, time, or money!
Im pretty sure you can no longer sell furniture.

It's most likely a bug with Version 1.3 while the PS4 version is on 1.2 yet.

When I unlocked Krobus, my first thought was "Gee, I wonder if there's a money making exploit here!" Same with the Dwarf and the Gypsy. Glad to see I was right about one of em!
Why would he patch this? It's a 1 player RPG and people like me prefer the odd cheat here and there. If we aren't in multiplayer environment I don't see the problem.
Yeah, Concerned Ape is REALLY quick with his patches. For almost every video I've watched on DF's channel, none of them worked because its been patched out

There's a program I like to use to automate things in a bunch of different games. It's called Tiny Task, and it pretty much replicates what you do. So if you set it to record, then buy the food once and make sure it loops, you can buy it while afk.

i dont know if anyone know this. its the geode trick, basically when you move a geode from one space to another and click the spot where clint process the geodes your geode wont be consumed and you can use that geode over and over again until your invemtory is full

i thought you can't open the geode without picking it up and using it and the second you click it disappear!
@@EridanusYT well i just discovered it accidentally when i moved my omni geode that i dont want clint to open, i accidentally clicked the place where clint process his geodes and he processed it but then i looked at my inventory and the omni geode is still there where i moved it.

On the iPad when you visit krobus you can actually buy 8 of the cooking item he’s selling. Just purchase 4 twice it speeds up the process a bit quicker when you’re trying to make a profit!

That is just a very smart way to get money but to bad ya need 60 things for the museum so ya can’t do it early in the game
So this exploits only works mid till end game, more to the end really, i played two times and every time my museum collection finish i already have like around 800k - 1mil money, guess I'm a hard worker lel

@@cooper5324 depends really I'm not really much of a artifacts collector guy cause i only mine while it's raining or in winter (my main source of money is from crops) so yeah sometimes i finish it at year 2 summer or fall
@@celvinardenwu5382 I mainly try to finish the community center as quick as possible so my main focus was on fishing, mining, and foraging. Alot of the items you need to finish bundles come from the mines. I think I'm just lucky too, which helps :)
@@cooper5324 well i do did the same thing with season bundle completion, but hey luck matters for community center and my luck seems not really to be good in my two playthrough so yeah

I dont know if you’ll see this but theres an exploit with the Salmon/black Berry. First though you will have to finish the secret note with the bear in the secret woods. Once do that of course you would have to gather and sell them. The good part about this is that the game still has the buy return of the original so if you buy them the sell price is still higher than the buy so if you sell, buy, then resell you make profit.
For the TLDR. Get the secret note for 5x Berry then sell buy then resell for profit.
This was patched in 1.4. You might want to say it's patched or no longer working.

With the community centre just after you give all the goods to those greedy gold placks what would happen if you go straight to joja would you get the vending machine and the trophy and wich building will it become or will it glitch out
This is a 3yr exploit but it's not fixed on mobile since it's still stuck in the in 1.4. This hurts.

Not working on switch anymore as close menu and reopen, the sold dishes won't show up again(you can only get free money for 5 dishes). And the price now seems really fluctuate instead of going all the way up and come down. Still worth to check on every Sat tho, free money.

I noticed this bug when I went to buy an iridium sprinkler for the first time after getting down there. It refreshed, so I just kept buying them instead of bothering to get iridium and batteries and crap. Easily filled up my area with sprinklers by Spring of year 2.

I haven't tried this yet. But it look like that selection of stuff you can buy from Krobus . You can scroll down for a lot more selections. I see a scroll bar over to the right.

I actually tried this exploit and it still works, but I sold a lot of the carp meals Krobus was selling and the next time I talked to each npc, they kept talking about how they bought the carp meal from Pierre since he had so much but they didn’t enjoy it because it was either low quality or going bad XD
